30 Trouble in Paradise: Alabasta's Revelation

"Weren't you chasing the Straw Hat Pirates?" asked Sengoku. Garp stopped eating his rice crackers after hearing that. "Is that bastard causing trouble?" asked Garp, annoyed.

Smoker took a deep breath and said, "It's not about them. I wanted to ask you, did you know that the Arlong Pirates terrorized the Conomi Islands for eight years?" asked Smoker.

Silence descended in Sengoku's office. Garp was looking at Sengoku in anger. "Who told you about it?" Sengoku asked Smoker while looking at Garp. "Death Demon Gohan! He told me that he had a talk with you when they were at Conomi Islands. Is it true?" asked Smoker.

Sengoku sighed. "It's true! Did he say something else? Did you catch him?" asked Sengoku.

"Catch him? With my strength, I couldn't even touch him. To him, I am nothing but an ant," said Smoker.

"What? But aren't you a Logia user? How can he defeat you so easily?" asked Sengoku. This time everyone was shocked.

"Yes, but my ability is useless against him. He is so fast that it feels like he is using Soru. And he can touch me in my Logia form," said Smoker.

Everyone in the office stood up in shock. "Haki user in the first half of the Grand Line! How scary," said Kizaru. "Where are they now?" asked Sengoku.

"In Alabasta Kingdom. He said that they are here to wipe our asses," said Smoker with awkwardness.

"What? What the hell does he mean by that?" shouted Sengoku. "I think there's something wrong in Alabasta. Someone is trying to incite people against King Cobra. There are some rumors that King Cobra is the reason for no rains in the kingdom," said Smoker with a serious face.

Sengoku frowned. "Do you have any clue who might be behind all of this?" He asked.

"I have a suspect, but I'm pretty sure that Straw Hats know the identity of the culprit," said Smoker.

"And why do you think that?" asked Sengoku. "Because Princess of Alabasta is sailing with them. I think she's the one who brought them here," said Smoker. "Why would she ask pirates for help instead of Marines?" asked Sengoku.

"It should be because of the identity of the culprit. If this is the case, then it's not hard to guess the identity of the culprit," interjected Vice Admiral Tsuru. "Don't tell me..." said Sengoku.

"Yes, it should be one of the Seven Warlords, Crocodile," said Smoker. "I knew you could never trust a pirate," said Akainu in anger. "Do you think they could defeat Crocodile?" asked Sengoku.

"You haven't seen him, Fleet Admiral. If Death Demon takes action, I don't think Crocodile will be alive for long," said Smoker. Sengoku's eyes widened. "Is he that strong?" he asked.

"Well... She is the navigator of the Straw Hat Pirates. Cat burglar Nami," said Smoker. Sengoku sat down on his chair with a resigned look. Tsuru sighed after hearing that. "Is there something else that you want to report?" asked Sengoku.

"No! But there's a message for Vice Admiral Garp from Death Demon," said Smoker. Everyone looked towards Garp in confusion. Garp himself was confused. "Tell me! I am here," said Garp.

Smoker hesitated but decided to say it. "He said, 'What a great hero you are,'" said Smoker nervously. Everyone was dumbfounded, and Garp was shaking with anger again.

"Okay! You can go, and I want the full details from you about the situation in Alabasta," said Sengoku as he cut the call.

Garp marched out of the office. "Garp!!! Where are you going?" shouted Sengoku.

"I am going to do what I should have done long ago. I am going to East Blue," said Garp without looking back.

On the Straw Hat's side, "Wasn't Ace supposed to be traveling with us right now? Why did he leave already? Well, it doesn't matter," thought Gohan.

Meanwhile, Ace was talking to Marco on the Den Den Mushi. "Yo Ace! Where are you? Pops is not happy with you. He wants you to stop chasing Teach," said Marco.

"No way! He has to pay for what he did to Thatch," said Ace with an angry face.

"He will pay for his crime, but you don't have to chase him alone like that," said Marco.

Meanwhile, the Straw Hats reached the shore and encountered Kung-fu Dugongs. 'What are you? Pokémon?' thought Gohan while looking at them. One of the Kung-fu Dugongs challenged them to a duel.

Usopp accepted the challenge and surprisingly won it. The Kung-fu Dugongs started worshipping him as their master and wanted to come with them, but they left them behind after giving them some food.

Vivi sent Caroo to deliver the message to her father. After that, they started walking. Since everyone's body was many times stronger than in the original timeline, the heat didn't affect them. Only Chopper was having a hard time, so Gohan put him on his shoulder and protected him with his ki.

After a few minutes, they entered the city named Erumali, formerly known as the Green City. But it was in shambles. Vivi told everyone how it turned into its current state.

She explained about the Dance Powder and how Crocodile turned the people of this country against her father. Suddenly, they encountered a sandstorm. But it wasn't strong. Gohan saw something in the storm.

After the storm passed, everyone saw that Gohan was holding a skull. "That storm! It wasn't natural; someone has created it," said Gohan while looking at the skull.

Vivi's eyes widened after hearing that. "It's Crocodile! How did we not think of it? He has a sand Logia fruit ability. He is the only one who can create sandstorms," said Vivi, biting her lips in frustration.

They buried the skull and moved on. After a while, they saw some big rocks. When they got closer to them, there were some birds lying on the ground. The birds were moaning in pain.

Seeing that, Luffy ran towards the birds and called out Chopper to help them. But Vivi stopped them. "They are Warusagi birds. They like to trick travelers and steal their luggage," she said while looking at the birds.

Suddenly, the birds started to fly towards them. "Do these birds taste good?" asked Gohan to Vivi. "Yes, they taste like chicken. But it's difficult to catch them," replied Vivi. Gohan looked towards Usopp with a smile.

"Don't damage their bodies," said Gohan to Usopp. "Don't worry," said Usopp as he fired some ki blasts at the birds. They started falling down, missing their heads. "Wow, Usopp! You can shoot lasers from your fingers," said Chopper in awe.

Usopp started to show off, while Chopper looked on with stars in his eyes. "Can you cook them?" asked Gohan, looking at Sanji. "Of course! There's nothing that I can't cook," said Sanji.

After that, Sanji cooked the birds. Everyone was enjoying the food, 'They are treating it like a picnic,' thought Vivi in shock.
