3 Ch.3 Betrayal (Part-3)

After ten minutes of running, Adam finally arrived in front of a big apartment which was also their home.

"Should I give her a call? Nah, let's surprise her." He first thought about informing her that he was gonna come earlier than expected but it would be more fun to surprise her instead.

He felt his heart beating faster as he started going inside the apartment and he had to take deep breaths, just to calm himself down.

"Ugh calm down, calm down." After some deep breathing, he finally calmed down from his earlier excited state entered the elevator and pressed the button to the 12th floor.

"Oh yeah let's do that too." Suddenly he whipped out his phone and started to dial someone as he realised that he still had some time.

After a few seconds of ringing, someone finally picked up a call and a tired voice came from the phone, "Yo man, need help with something?"

"Are you still at your job?" He asked as he usually sounds this tired when he is at the job or with his parents.

"Yeah man and this fucker won't leave me alone for a second, bro let me rest or I will leave this fucking job." Hearing his complaints, he couldn't help but laugh as if he wanted he could easily take a break for days as he owned that place but he loved doing that job.

"Haha, anyway can you make an appointment for a table for two people?" Leaving aside his usual complaining, Adam decided to go straight to the point.

"Oh, sure? But what do you need that for? You proposed to Abigail or something?" He asked in a joking voice as he didn't think that Adam would propose to her yet.

 "Oh yeah, I am just going to do that right now." He replied with an excited voice while feeling surprised as so many people are guessing it right today.

"Wait, wait, wait!! Do you mean right now? Right away?" 

"Yup right now and right away."

"Holy! Finally, these fuckers going to be together, that took ages." 

He couldn't help but laugh at his remark as he used to say that we should get married whenever we were hanging out together.

"So can you reserve a table?" 

"Table? Bro, I will reserve this whole restaurant for you two, just come at nine and you will be surprised." Hearing his words, he couldn't help but be surprised as it was more than expected.

"You sure? Wouldn't that be a problem for your business?"

"Don't worry, it's just for a day and it's something bigger than money but remember we gotta have a drinking party with the boys tomorrow for this occasion."

"Haha sure, also talk to you later then." Adam was happy that he got such great friends, but decided to end the call for now as the elevator door opened on the 12th floor.

"Aye sure and good luck man."

"Thanks and cya." Cutting the phone call, he started walking towards their room and just as he arrived in front of the door, he double-checked everything from his clothes to flowers to ring.

"Okay, everything, haaa let's go." With a deep sigh, he opened the door with the keys and entered the room but was greeted with a somewhat surprising sight.

Entering inside, he could see her shoes but what was more surprising was a pair of leather shoes which was not his or anyone he knew.

"Is it her friend or relative?" He had an inkling of suspicion towards another thing but he didn't think that would be possible.

"Haha let's not overthink." While calming his beating heart, he entered inside and what lay in the corridor made his suspicion rise even more.

On the floor, he could see various pieces of clothes lying there, which included a male shirt and pants and a skirt and top he was pretty familiar with.

"No, no, no, it's not possible." While trying to avoid reality, he followed the clothes trail which led to the closed living room.

With a bang, he opened and what greeted him was an empty room but with a musky smell that he could somewhat recognize.

"Fucking hell." While trying to calm his emotions, he tried to find any trace of them when he suddenly heard a sound from their bedroom.

"You gotta be kidding me." Adam now had no doubt about what was happening but he had to confirm it with his own eyes, so he started walking towards their bedroom.

Walking towards the bedroom, the voice started to get louder and he could recognize it as her moaning which broke his heart even further.

"It's truly turned into the worst day." With a laugh, he arrived in front of the bedroom door, and with a bang, he opened the door.

What greeted him inside was something he already predicted but it still broke him.

"Adam…" He heard her voice as she lay naked next to a man he had never met, and she looked at him with a shocked face.

"Haha!" He couldn't help but laugh at this situation as he never expected something like this to happen, and after a few seconds he looked at both of them with a smile and said, "I am going out for a bit and after I come back, never show yourself in front of me ever again."

With a sigh, he turned around and started to exit the room as he heard her calling him from behind but he decided to ignore it as she doesn't exist with him from now on.

"Fuck." Just after leaving the house, he punched the wall with anger as he never expected her to do something like that.

Blood started to flow from his fist as he kept punching the wall in anger but after a while, he got a phone which snapped him out of it.

"I-" He decided to pick up the call later and started to walk towards the elevator as he didn't want to stay here any longer and face her again.
