23 Ch.22 Annoying

"Wait a minute." Just as he was about to go towards the locker room, he was stopped by the Ayano voice calling him.

Looking behind, he could see Ayano running towards him in a hurry while wiping her wet hands with the apron she was wearing.

"Something happened?" He asked with a curious face as he didn't expect to be stopped by her in a hurry.

Instead of replying to his question, Ayano decided to catch her breath first from all the running, after that she removed her apron and put it under the counter.

"Oh, my shift just finished so let's go together." With a smile, she went ahead of him, towards the locker room.

'And can't miss out on the stuff that will happen inside.' And there was another ulterior motive behind that as all their interaction between those two were pretty fun to see.

"Sure?" Even though he was a bit confused about her wanting to go with him, he decided not to question it and went with her.

But he couldn't help but find her suspicious as she was randomly laughing and then suddenly stopping to look behind her towards him with a smile.

Arriving towards the locker room, he couldn't hear any sounds from inside it which made him a bit surprised as for him Nanase didn't seem like someone who would be this quiet.

Opening the door, they were met with the scene of Nanase browning stuff on her phone while laying on the bench and opposite to her was Chifuyu who was looking around with a curious face.

"Yo!" He greeted them lightly as their gaze went towards them due to the door opening sound.

Looking towards Oga, Chifuyu couldn't help feeling her face getting a bit hotter but was relieved that her heart was feeling much calmer and not like before.

While Nanase looked towards him, her stomach once again started to feel even warmer which made her frustrated and tried to distract herself by browsing on her phone.

'Interesting.' Ayano looked towards them with a curious face, especially Nanase, as Chifuyu's reaction was as she expected but Nanase was making expressions she had never seen before.

But Oga didn't notice Nanase but instead went towards Chifuyu and then knelt in front of her to match her eyes, which surprised Chifuyu a bit.

"Are you feeling alright?" He asked with a worried face while also feeling a bit relieved inside as he could feel that she was looking much better than before.

'At Least the gloominess is gone.' He looked at her eyes which were looking much clearer compared to before where it was filled with emptiness.

"Hmm, I am good." Chifuyu slightly nodded while looking at him with a red face as she couldn't help but feel embarrassed by his action.

"Aye, that's great." He gave her a thumbs-up with a smile while also feeling a bit happy that she was finally looking at him properly instead of looking away.

"Do you guys have enough flirting?" Nanase grumbled in annoyance as looking at them talking with each other like that kept irritating her.

'Ugh, it doesn't matter to me but why is it so annoying.' Even though she wanted to ignore them, she couldn't look away from them and their interaction annoyed her even more.

Chifuyu looked at her with a surprised face and then towards Oga and couldn't help feeling like they kept getting closer even though she wanted to push him away.

"Nanase-san, you shouldn't talk like that to other people." Ayano lightly reprimanded her for her behaviour as she didn't want to lose potential customers. 

'And it's so fun to see their interactions.' She couldn't help but watch more of their interactions as it's almost like those romance series.

"Ugh! It's just annoying, just get a room and do that stuff there." She grumbled towards Ayano as she expected her to stop these two from flirting instead of scolding her.

Hearing those words, Chifuyu couldn't help but remember the stuff they did last night as heat once again started taking over her body with her whole face getting redder.

Looking at her reaction, both Ayano and Nanase couldn't help but be curious as they had never seen someone make a face like that.

"You want us to do what?" Oga looked towards her with a curious face while lightly showing his hands which intimidated her a bit.

"Hmph! Nothing, you idiot!" She looked at him and felt even more irritated due to feeling scared just by his hands.

He couldn't help but laugh at her reaction but decided to focus on Chifuyu first who was breathing hastily.

"Something happened?" He lightly patted her head to calm her down, while she just slightly shook her head, "It's alright just a little tired."

"Oh, then we should be going now, also thanks for helping us." He felt like parting ways from Chifuyu here as he felt like she probably needed some rest.

Standing him up, he lightly bowed towards Ayano and thanked her for all the help.

"Ahh don't worry, it's my job to help all the customers and please come again." She also bowed lightly with a smile while looking towards Nanase, indicating something to her.

"Yeah thanks for coming, hope you never come again." Saying those words, Nanase stood up in annoyance and limply went out of the locker room.

"I am sorry about her, she is probably still annoyed by that earlier but still I am sorry." Ayano couldn't help but feel like crying due to Nanase's behaviour as she couldn't understand why she was so angry.

"Haha! Don't worry, it's not a big deal." He didn't feel much annoyed by her actions so he just wanted Ayano to stop apologising as it felt wrong to him.

"Anyway, let's go Chifuyu." He then lightly extended her arm towards her to help her stand up.

She looked towards his hands a little embarrassed but still decided to hold it even though she felt like she shouldn't.

"Oh?" He couldn't help but feel a little surprised as even after standing up, she didn't remove her hands from his but he didn't question anything about it and just picked up the pastry bag.
