21 Ch.20 Difference in Treatment

"Why such difference in treatment, hmph!" Nanase mumbled lightly while looking at his back which was slowly going further and further from her.

Even though she wanted him to be away from her, she couldn't help but miss the sensation of being carried by him earlier.

'Ugh, what am I thinking?' In frustration due to her weird emotions, she started banging her forehead lightly on the bench in annoyance.

"Ow!" Even though she was hitting her forehead lightly, she accidentally hit the bench a bit too hard and she couldn't help but scream out in pain.

She couldn't help but feel like crying due to all the happening today as she can't understand her weird emotions at all and the pain in her leg and head isn't helping.

"Hmm~" Suddenly she heard a light mumble and looking towards the source, she could see the girl that he told her to look after was moving a bit in her unconscious state.

"So what's so special about you?" She couldn't help but wonder as she looked like one of those shy girls and didn't match with that guy who looked like a delinquent like her.

Suddenly her eyes went towards her breast and then towards her breast, and then she slowly realised what was so special about her.

'Man, this is so unfair.' She couldn't help but be annoyed by the comparison as the difference was very huge and she couldn't win at all.

'But there's also personality too.' She thought that she would win in the personality aspect at least as she matched him better than her.

"Ahhhh! What am I thinking? Why would I wanna be with him." She slapped her cheeks lightly to snap out of that state as she had a boyfriend who loved her and she shouldn't be thinking about other men.

In an attempt to stop thinking about him, she opens her phone so she can talk with her boyfriend and prioritise him while also forgetting about that guy.

Sending a text to start a conversation with him, she waited minutes for his reply but even after 5 minutes there was no reply which made her impatient and annoyed.

'Ugh, reply fast you idiot, your girlfriend is in danger.' She started spamming him but there was still no reply which further agitated her more and more.

"Man, why is it getting worse and worse? Should have just gone to the birthday party with my parents earlier." She couldn't help but regret not going to her uncle's birthday party even though she found that boring.

'At least it would be better to be bored than in this position.' While she was thinking about such things, her eyes went onto that girl's uniform and she immediately recognized where it was from.

"Ehhhh?" Letting out a surprised scream, she looked at the uniform again and then compared her school uniform with it, in her mind and found it was pretty much similar to each other.

"And that is a second-year tie if remember correctly." She looked at her blue tie which signified being in second unlike hers which was green which signified being in first year.

 'If she is from the same school then maybe he-' She just wondered about the worst possibility she thought and couldn't help but shudder in fear and some unknown emotion.

"What am I thinking? There's no way that's true and our school is too big for us to ever encounter each other." Trying to calm herself down, she thought about all the positives where she would never encounter him and felt a lot calmer.

Suddenly she heard the notification sound from her phone and looking at the content, she saw her boyfriend finally replied which made her sigh in relief. 

Forgetting about that guy, she got fully engrossed in the chats with her boyfriend which made her heart a lot calmer.

After a while, she heard something moving around her and looking towards it, she could see that the girl was slowly waking up.

"Oh hey there." She lightly greeted her and then went back to chatting as she was not that much interested in that girl.

"Um, where am I? And who are you?" Chifuyu looked around confused in the locker room she was in and especially at the girl who was lying on the bench while she was on her phone.

'And where is Oga?' She tried to look around for him but she couldn't find him at all and all she remembered last was her feeling stuffy and then it all went white for her.

"Oh! You fainted earlier outside the store and your boyfriend took you here. He should be back in a few minutes." Saying bye to her boyfriend on the chat, she decided to explain the situation to the confused girl even though she didn't like her much.

"Oh thanks and I am sorry for fainting earlier, I was just too tired… from stuff," Chifuyu remembered what happened last night which made her face go all red but she shook her head to forget about it.

"Hmm!" She looked at her suspiciously due to her strange behaviour at her last words and couldn't help but wonder if it was that.

"Anyway, are you from Hoshinomiya too?" Deciding not to pry about it, she decided to ask what she was curious about earlier and also to change that topic.

Surprised at her question, Chifuyu snapped out of that thought and looked at her with widened eyes, "How did you know?"

"Oh your uniform and I am from there too, the first year and guessing you are second?" She said while looking at her with a smile as she found her reaction kind of funny.

"Oh yeah! And yes, I am Tsukimi Chifuyu and nice to meet you." She bowed lightly to greet her and felt surprised a bit inside as she didn't expect to meet someone from the same school.

"Nanase Haruka and likewise." Introducing herself, she went back to her phone to browse random stuff as she didn't feel like or had any energy to continue any conversation with her.
