23 The Great Rock Wars

Sometime later Muichiro jumped down from a tree and landed next to Tengen. Muichiro looked up and saw that the sun was setting. He had no idea how long it would take to arrive in the city.

"Ah, Muichiro-san! Flamboyant as always! Do you know where the city is?" Tengen asked looking down at him.

Muichiro just stared at the Sound Pillar and blinked several times. This guy was asking a person with short-term memory if they remembered the direction of a city. Did he not pay attention to his crow and immediately sprint away after hearing it's a Kizuki.

Yeah probably...

Muichiro sighed and pointed upwards. Tengen raised a brow then looked up. Ginko was flying overhead towards their destination. This is how Muichiro doesn't get lost (all the time) on his missions. He still got sidetracked though, he got sidetracked MANY times.

"I see! Well, let's get moving right away!" Tengen vanishes causing Muichiro to look to the side. He saw Tengen just speeding forward not caring if Muichiro was even following. He wondered if Tengen was like this on all of his missions and came up with a simple answer to that.

Most likely

Muichiro sighed, again. He dashed forward and murmured "I'm going lose hair fr this BS."

Sometime Later

Muichiro and Tengen were running coming up on a city. They saw a few explosions and heard many smaller ones. Many people were being evacuated from the place by city guards and a few corps members.

It had only taken them a few hours to arrive which was very fast. They couldn't have taken a train since there were no railroads in this area.

"Go ahead." Muichiro said. Tengen glanced back at him then nodded taking off with a word. Muichiro took a deep breath, his speed also increase but definitely not as much as Tengen's.

With Tengen

Not long after Tengen went ahead of Muichiro, he arrived inside of the city. He saw quite a few golems made out of stone. The slayers that were there were struggling with the golems alone.

Tengen looked around for the demon that was the cause of the golems. The slayers may have been struggling but they definitely weren't near death. Not too long after, Tengen spotted a demon on top of a building. The demon looked to have pale skin with black hair. He wore a white haori and hakama.

A basic bitch if you would.

He didn't know if it was the demon behind the golems but there was a high possibility. It was the only demon he has seen since getting to the city. He only saw the golems. Tengen shoots forward towards the building. Most of the buildings in the city were quite tall compared to other places.

Tengen jumped from building to building until he was on the same roof as the demon. He held the hilts of both his swords and pulled them ripping the cloth. He held them to the side dashing forward. Just when he was near the demon the roof started to collapse.

"They FINALLY send a damn Hashira."

Tengen's eyes widened when he saw a huge fist made of stone coming at him.

[Sound Breathing. First Form: Roar]

He held his twin blades over his head and slammed them down towards the fist.

*BBOOOMM*

The explosion destroyed the fist making the stone collapse to the floor under. Tengen backflipped landing on the edge of the building. Tengen frowned and watch the demon land on the head of a huge stone golem.

The demon said "You took so long to arrive here, I thought Hashiras were meant to be the strongest out of you demon hunters. Oh well." He looked at Tengen who caught a glimpse of his eyes.

'Lower 3. He's pretty weak but with those golems it'll be a hassle to get to him.' Tengen thought keeping his guard up waiting for the next attack.

The demon waved his hand causing the destroyed hand of the golem to reform. It sent a punch towards Tengen who gripping his blades.

[Mist Breathing. Second Form: Eight-Layered Mist]

The golem's arm was cut into a few parts that fell to the floor. Muichiro stood to the putting his sword back into its sheath. "Muichiro! Good to see you! Flamboyant attack, I must say! What took you so long?!" Tengen waved one of his blades and Muichiro waved back.

"I destroyed a few of those thingies of the way here. They look strong but even a shit Nichirin blade can cut through them."

"I see I see! Good to know! Also, I destroyed the hand of a golem and the stone just formed into a hand again!"

"How long did that take?"

"Maybe a few seconds, but didn't put all of my strength into my attack so I could have destroyed the whole arm."

"Oh. That's interesting."

Muichiro and Tengen stood on opposite sides of the roof just sharing information as if there wasn't a big ass golem between them. You know. As you do.

The demon looked at Muichiro then back at Tengen before looking at our forgetful mc again.

'Is he another Hashira? He must be. And why are they just having a friendly chat while I'm standing RIGHT here!' He looked and saw Muichiro and Tengen just throwing rocks at each other. Muichiro used the hilt of his sword to knock away any rocks that were about to hit him. Tengen on the other hand, held one of his blades reversed swing it making the other that was attached to the chain knock away all the rocks.

"Why are you throwing rocks at me!" Tengen yelled deflecting more rocks. Muichiro coached down and took more rocks.

"Because you threw one at me first."

"I didn't!"

"Then why did I hear something collide with the ground a few meters away from me?"

"Look around you!!"

Muichiro blinked and looked around the almost destroyed roof with a golem made out of stone in the middle. He blinked once more and dropped the rocks in his hand. Muichiro kicked a rock away seeing Tengen's point.

"Good point.."

"Would you two shut up!! You mere humans are in the presence of a member of the Twelve Kizuki! I am Lower 3, my name is..." Muichiro and Tengen shoot forward not caring for his little speech. Both of them weren't very patient when it came to fighting demons. Tengen wants to get home to his wives, and Muichiro wants to get home to his future wife.

Simple as that

Lower 3 screamed in frustration and waved both his arms around. The golem's arm changed into a sword that slashed downwards, Muichiro and Tengen shared a look and speed up. Muichiro jumped up turning his body so that the sword went right past him. Tengen was good since he wasn't near it.

Muichiro landed on the sword and dashed forward. Tengen appeared behind him following with his blades resting on his shoulder.

'Can he only create golems, or can he create anything out of stone?' Muichiro thought getting his body low to the ground with his sword in hand.

Lower 3 frowned deeply and waved his arms making a lot of stone gather and form into dozens of swords that shot toward the two Pillars right after.

'Guess that answers my question.' Muichiro thought. He stopped for a second and crossed his arms gripping his sword. Muichiro took a stance and sent a look at Tengen who nodded.

[Mist Breathing. Fifth Form: Sea of Clouds and Haze]

He shot forward with Tengen in toe and slashed all of the swords. He had managed to successfully slash all of them. He stopped and looked around only to see more swords being thrown at them.

'So predicably.' Muichiro backfliped and landed behind Tengen couching down. Tengen held his blades and waited for the attack to get closed enough, he didn't have to wait long.

[Sound Breathing. Fourth Form: Constant Resounding Slashes]

Tengen held his blades apart and spun them rapidly slashing all around his destroying all the swords. When it stopped Muichiro was about to continue his dash toward the demon but both of them were thrown off the building in the streets.

Tengen landed easily on the road with Muichiro landed on a pool. They looked up and saw a stone golem but it was way bigger and had eight arms. Lower 3's eyes glowed as he gazed down at them.

"Now you die! No one...!" He watch as Muichiro threw a rock at Tengen. It hit his head making an irk appear on his forehead.

"Why!"

"You threw another rock at me."

"Look over there!!" Muichiro followed where Tengen was pointing and saw that the building was almost near collapse. A huge rock fell into the streets and Muichiro deadpanned. He looked back at Tengen and threw another rock.

"That's it!!!" Ten yelled and also threw rocks of his own.

And so, The Great Rock Wars began once more.
