3 Kaito

"*Sigh*. This is bull." I said. I was still on a bed covered in bandages, most, if not all of my injuries haven't completely healed yet. I wondered just how bad Muichiro broke his body when he killed the demon.

From what I know, before waking up I was in a coma for SEVEN months. According to A, this was mostly because my and Muichiro's souls merged. A even said the merge was a bit rushed if anything. Because of how long I spent in that "void", my soul is apparently quite a bit stronger than an average soul.

A refused to tell me anything else, they said, and I quote, "I can't tell such things to such a weak mortal as yourself! I am the great, System-kun!"

Yeah, I didn't know what that meant either. I just said okay and moved on trying my best to completely forget about that conversation.

Anyway, I have been in this bed for almost FOUR, MOTHERFUCKING months! The first 2 I couldn't move, no, I physically couldn't move. I tried, all I was able to do was move my fingers a little.

After that my body slowly came under my control, it only took a month for me to get it under complete control and move all of my limbs.

Some people took care of me as well, I didn't really like it. Being taken care of like a child was weird, well, I guess I am a child now but still.

At this moment I'm on my bed looking at some scrolls, I was sitting up with my legs crossed. The scrolls contained different techniques like water, flame, thunder, all those. It just told me a little about them, I looked at them and sighed.

I put all except one on the bedside table, it was the one for mist breathing. To be honest, I honestly found it cool. My favorite ones are moon, sun then mist. Obviously, I can't get the first and second, for now.

I spent a bit of time memorizing it and its forms, it seemed pretty simple. It was a technique that focused on quick slashes and the user's speed.

After some time I put it away and stood up, I gritted my teeth and ignored the pain. My body is still quite a ways away from being fully recovered, but as I said, time waits for no man.

This was a lesson I learned from a young age when I was on earth, I have already wasted enough time being bedridden for almost a year. Time wasn't on my side here, I was weak and time was against me here, it was shit circumstances.

I couldn't be surprised if Tanjiro's family is already dead but that ain't my problem.

I slowly walked to a wooden sword and took it before going outside, I held my side and went Into the yard. I held the sword and swung it, over and over again. Even when my arms felt like they would fall off I still swung the sword.

Let me tell you, that was, without a single doubt, the worst thing I have ever gone through. In the shows they make it look so easy but fucking, nope! I seriously underestimate how hard that was going to be.

...

Wait, forget that last sentence. Okay, redo: I underestimated that exercise's difficulty by a HUGE margin.

Anyway...

I swung the sword until it was dark, after a long time I finally stopped. The wooden sword fell to the ground and so did it. I panted heavily, I couldn't even move my arms at this point.

Did I overdo it, no. Muichiro was said to train until he vomited up blood, I think. I think I only saw his past once, and that was in the Sword Village arcs. Plus, I only read that arc ONCE.

I wanted to train much harder than he did in the original, I'll be 13 in a few months as well. I was going to train for 2 months like in the origin before taking the final selection. After that, I'll go hunt demons to gain experience.

What's the point in having perfect swordsmanship if I have zero fighting experience, I'm not that stupid. I somehow found a way to get up and go back to where I slept, I took the sword and slowly walked back holding my arm.

I was somehow able to make it to my bed, I don't think I have ever been this tired. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep.

The Next Day

When I woke up my arms definitely still aced, but I ignored it and went to train once more. I didn't just swing a sword this time, I trained my entire body until I couldn't move anymore.

This was going to be my hell for the next few months, even after I become a demon slayer ill still train like this.

I'm very sure I started to train much earlier than in the original which I don't really care about but it's still good to know when certain events will happen.

I looked to the dark sky and sighed, if I was going to reincarnate at least give me some time. Suddenly I heard a voice, "Oh, are you the one Ubuyashiki-sama asked me to train?"

"Huh?" I looked to the side and saw a man with blue hair and an odd mask, before I got time to say anything he said, "Well, you can call me Kaito. I'll be the one to train you in the way of the sword, for the next 6 months."

I was slightly surprised but said, "I only need 2." Kaito looked at me and said, "We'll see about that short one."

I turned away from him and looked at a flower nearby and sighed, this guy was obviously going to be a pain in my fucking ass.
