This is the Leviathan Queen she was their ruler and First born, when the devouring began she ate the largest number of the leviathans by herself,
I assumed she would've been dead after all those years, but it seems she survived..
The devour curse makes you feal hungry, but your not actually hungry or in need of food, and elder leviathans bodies can survive years without any sustenance.
It seems unlike the leviathans who ate themselves and died, the queen tried to do that but her regeneration is top tier even among her race, it can even be called immortality, no matter how much she tried to devour herself she kept regenerating over and over, and she seemed to clean The Sea Of Monsters of all other life, no one checks The Sea Of Monsters and anyone who gets close dies, this made the information that the leviathan Queen still alive and all other Monsters dead stay unknown even for me, after all probably no one who found that out managed to stay alive to tell the tale, she is still under the curse, we need to leave before she attacks."

(alright I under the circumstances I understand your worries, but aren't you over reacting our stats are about the same, and I've killed monsters that are as strong as me or stronger before).
