42 Chapter 42: The Shaman fight

It's been a hour since I beat Silva, I'm now eating with him at a Burger place.

Silva:"Thanks for buying this."

Issei:"It's cool you patch guys aren't really rich so it don't mine."

Silva:"But to mooch off you."

Issei:"Don't worry about it. But I'm interested are their any interesting contestants you've challenged? Don't worry I won't do something stupid like attack them."

Silva:"Well other than you there is the Asakura kid. Yoh was it?" Silva then began to tell me more about him.

Issei:"Seems like a chill guy he should reach far in the tournament." I then went. my apartment and next door I saw Silva as he about to enter his.

Silva:"Your my neighbor?"

Issei:"I guess so."

And so two days passed, I was hanging with Silva and Kalim, I've met the other Patch Official Chrom he's a good guy. I'm definitely gonna save him. He was killed by Tao Ren one of the main characters.

Issei:"By the way where is Chrom?"

Silva:"He's testing Tao Ren at this moment." I immediately shot out of the room and opened my map I marked him on my map specially.

I ran to the location where he'll be fighting Ren, I saw Ren was able land a blow on him, but he kept goading the kid. Who got pissed and was about to finish it, I however took out my bokuto Katase gave me and smacked away his Oversoul spear.

Issei:"You've already won kid that's enough."

Ren:"You!" I released my bloodlust I stared him dead in the eye. He was petrified.

Issei:"Leave!" he nod and did just that. I looked at Chrom who had a sheepish smile on his face. I however was pissed he would endanger himself like that and chopped his head.

Chrom:"Ow! Ow! I'm sorry!"

Issei:"Come on man let's just go home." I really laid it into him about how reckless and stupid that was.

Chrom:"By the way Issei why do you want to be shaman king?"

Issei:"I don't want to be God of this world, I'm only doing it because there's someone I want to fight."

Chrom"....." Didn't say anything but he just went home for the day, but that same night I got a notification on who my next opponent is. It was Toa Ren we were suppose to battle. Guess that's a change to canon. What the hell is the Great Spirit thinking setting me up with this kid? The Great Spirits is who decides the fight and loactions. A shaman has to win two of three battles before being eligible to battle in the shaman fight.

The Great Spirits is basically the culmination of all souls in the world from the beginning of time until now it also works as an after life. But I think it's the G8 who decides these things or God 8 well there not the God 8 yet more like G7. Since Hao hasn't joined yet, they are the past shaman kings.

It was then three days later when when I met Ren again at our meeting spot. He came in on his horse and and with his spear and his guardian spirit Bason hovering over him. A huge Chinese soldier.

Ren:"Your that bastard from last time!"

Issei:"Yo!" He immediately used his Oversoul.

Ren:"[Chuuka Zanmai!]" A number of golden beam attacks came from his spear as he thrust it high speeds. I however easily dodged his attacks. Using the library of heavens path I saw he had so much flaws in his attacks.

Issei:"Hey loosen up your arms a bit, straighten up your legs."

Ren:"What are you giving me pointers now! Use your Oversoul!"

Issei:"Sorry is forgot. Ranna in sneakers." A pair of silver armour like sneakers came on my feet. I dissapeared and arrived behind Ren.

Issei:" Sorry kid try next time.[Re-Taekwondo-Silver Kick!]" With a swift kick to the neck knocking him out. Sighing I went home. then the a few more days later I got my other challenge and saw it was a nobody I don't remember from the series. I knocked him out too.

I also watched the fight with Ren and Yoh and and my anime/manga fanboy in me was jumping up and down. The fight was suspenseful but they made so just so many mistakes in their fighting. They'll get better with time, I'm not here to babysit them. I'll try introducing myself though. I'll be going on my own in this one.

I was working in a stand with Silva selling hot dogs, I volunteered to help him out the patch are known to be businessmen they sell alot of stuff it's something even their ancestors do and still do, from what I read in the sequel' Shaman King Flowers'.

Issei:"I should get ready the shaman fight will be starting soon."

Silva:"Thanks for the help!" I waved my hand and got on the air plane leaving for America that's where the plane will be going. I strapped my oracle bell to my hand grabbed my luggage and entered.

While flying the patch chieftan Goldva went over the rules, while I toned most of it out and began locating patch village on my map, to which I found it with a few thousand Gold as a requirement.

After a few hours the bottom of the plane started opening and all the shaman was launched outside. Hao and his team was able to be safe due him using his Spirit of fire O.S as he said a few words to Yoh and his friends he flew off.

I however flew in with my Oversoul it was a giant red mechanical dragon with green eyes. I took inspiration from Yoh's Spirit of Earth O.S from 'Shaman King Super Star'.

Horohoro:"IS THAT AN OVERSOUL!!!"

Ren:"Focus and help us make a cushion dumbass!!!" Ren shouted at Horohoro it seem he got to join like in canon the plot armour must be in full effect though Shaman King doesn't really have that. Unlike most Shonen, the characters don't get a miraculous power up while fighting, they use strategy to win. Which is why it's my favourite series.

Issei:/So you use the same medium as I do for my O.S." I said to Hao and his team.

Hao:"It seems so." he says as he looks at me with the same carefree smile as his younger brother. He's the ancestor and older brother of Yoh. He's the creator of the [Taizan Fukun no Sai] he reincarnated into one of his descendants and as baby ran everybody's fade. He's really my favourite villain.

Hao:"That's a good God class spirit you have there!" he smiled and I smiled back.

Issei:"Yours isn't bad either." Spirit are in three classes normal ghost->Serei->God. Ranna is Serei he's close to reaching God and, Ddriag he's way beyond that, the only spirit more powerful than him should be the Great Spirit. I actived the wings/boosters and blasted off towards patch village.

Ddraig:((Did you really have to converse with him?)) said Ddraig as I hopped in the cockpit of the ship.

Issei:"Of course he's my favourite anime character second to Chocolove."

Ddraig:((Oi Ranna you okay?))

Ranna:((Yeah I'm fine evolving into a God level spirit is just being a pain!)) said Ranna from the Boosted gear.

Issei:"Don't worry your evolution should be done in a few hours just stay put."
