A Duel

Lewis woke up to the sound of the bustling streets of Greece. Seeing such a lively city, Lewis wondered about what he had missed being an anti social person.

He jumped out of bed and stretched before going to the kitchen to eat breakfast, today was a normal day like many others....or was it?

' Crap, today is my first day in the Apostle academy!' Lewis quickly realized and hurried to his wardrobe, leaving the poor rice behind.

He had recieve his uniform yesterday when applying, it was, at least for males, a buttoned shirt and pants that were both the signature color of the avatar's god, Lewis was surprised when he realized that all of these uniforms were different from on another, giving a unique aura surrounding each piece of clothing.

There was also a bowtie that also had the same color.

Lewis now wore a dark purple buttoned shirt with a slightly lighter but still dark purple colored bowtie, even darker pants that were comfortable, and had pockets. It was a simple yet fancy outfit, befitting of a powerful being.

Lewis finished wearing his uniform and stopped at the kitchen to grab a strawberry jam sandwich before rushing out the door to the lively streets of Greece.

To go to the academy, if one had the money they could hire a personal wagon, but for the others, they had to either fly, run, walk, or do whatever was in their ability to reach to the Academy. Lewis simply walked as his body wasn't suited to survive his speed and strength, this also served as a chance to dive more into the streets of Greece, he was quite early to wake up anyway, so he had time.

Once he had arrived, instead of panting like normal students, he was instead calm and his posture was straight and perfect. In front of him was a steel gate that, upon being checked by Lewis, was sturdy enough to withstand firearm attacks, not that they existed in this age anyway, along with a small, hub? beside the gates.

He soon heard shuffling of books and a figure stepped out of the small hub, " Nice to meet you, I go by Arthur and I am the recorder of the academy, my job is to record all the students, would you mind telling me your name and your god?" The man said in a calm but also enthusiastic tone, he wore a black coat with a white T-shirt, he also had amber eyes that could seduce any woman, tall, handsome and smart, Lewis felt slightly dejected but hid it.

Lewis forced a smile at the man before replying, " Nice to meet you too sir, I'm Klaus...." Lewis stopped for a second to think of a last name, due to his quick thinking, he was able to come up with a name easily, " Tiotaru, Klaus Tiotaru, and I'm the avatar of the god Hades. "

Tiotaru was a mix between jotaro and satoru.

The man seemed surprised, " Hades the ruler of the underworld?"

"Indeed" Lewis replied at the perfect pace, too fast or too slow would cause suspicion.

The man's eyes immediately lit up before bowing and opening the gates to Lewis.

' An avatar of one of the three great gods! '

That was probably the thought that was going on in Arthur's head.

Lewis entered the academy and was immediately hit with the great smell of nature, to his right was a land full of grass, and to his left was a big arena, and in front of him was the academy building itself.

Lewis was a bit surprised at how much land this academy has, but he shrugged it off anyway, it was the top academy in Greece, no, the entire world. Not only did it provide free and prestigious resources to the students, it also sheltered them as powerful beings, what more could a student want?

The bell soon rang, waking Lewis up from his daze and making him hurry inside the academy.

Lewis opened his classroom's door, he was met by many gazes as he was late. The classroom was entirely matte-white, giving it an elegant look. The desks and chairs were creme-colored as well.

' This much white....reminds me of bloxburg, ' Lewis sighed as he put his hands in his pockets and took out a slip of paper, on it was Lewis' seat number.

' 28' Lewis thought, he made his way to his seat and sat. To his right was a quite boy the same age as him, and to his left was an enthusiastic boy, also the same age.

' Two polar opposites, and I'm the Ecuador' Lewis sighed, he was in an awkward place.

The quite boy only shot Lewis a glance before dozing back into nothingness. Lewis sized him up, he had white messy wavy hair, thankfully, it didn't cover his eyes. ' I don't want to sit with an edgy teenager' Lewis thought. The boy had grime green eyes that were not going to make someone bored even if they stared for eternity, his eyes looked exotic and unique.

The boy had a somewhat buff chest, and fit arms, Lewis concluded that he had a soccer body.

Lewis shifted his gaze to the other boy, the boy had light, really light yellow hair, it was also messy and wavy but a bit longer than the other boy. The boy had amber eyes that were also exotic, ' Though slight, these two's appearences are somewhat similar, are they twins?' Lewis wondered as he continued checking the boy.

After a while, Lewis stopped and focused on the current class. It was physical combat, the teacher was teaching us some moves from marital arts, they looked similar to karate and other normal arts, but upon closer inspection, these moves were anything but normal. While doing these moves, the teacher's hands were as still as the ground, not moving a single inch, his hands also emitted a faint orange aura.

' What did I expect? He must be the avatar of a marital god or something' Lewis thought for a split second that he was inside a chinese murim martial arts novel, but he immediately removed that thought from his head.

The class continued without any trouble, or so did Lewis suspect.

An hour in the class, the teacher asked the students all to perform what they had just learned, each one will go a round with the instructor. Lewis was slightly shocked, but remained calm nevertheless, while other students were cursing at the instructor.

They had not even had enough time to memorize the moves!

One after another, it was a cycle. A student went into the arena with glimmer in their eyes, and came out like a depressed suicidal piece of shi--

' That's enough author'

Soon came Lewis' turn, he had seen some amazing performances from other students, mainly from the avatars of the great gods. As he was here, so were Zeus and Poseidon's avatars.

Lewis stood up from his seat and put his hands in his pockets as he walked down the stairs and accompanied the instructor to the arena, you may ask, if only both of them went to the arena how would the students know the performance of the other students?

It was all recorded and the monitor was in the class.

Lewis soon reached a bright red and blue arena similar to a WWE arena. Lewis looked around him and started inhaling that fresh nature air. But he was serious, he had never fought anyone with his powers, so he didn't have a single ounce of experience, not even against dummies.

As he stepped into the arena, the instructor who was right in front of him disappeared and appeared at one corner of the arena.

' Teleportation?' Lewis wondered, if his opponent had teleportation, it would be hard for him to win, thankfully, it wasn't teleportation.

' Even if for a split second, I saw him moving, it isn't teleportation' Lewis sighed with relieve and made the basic karate stance, with one leg forward and both hands shaped like a spear in front of him.

The instructor started walking towards Lewis, his speed increasing with every step. Once he was 2 meters in front of Lewis, he unleashed his first attack!

A hit directly to the stomach!

Lewis had great concentration and dodged to the side, however, the instructor followed him with a straight kick to the right side of the ribs!

Lewis stopped his defensive and went into offensive, he immediately put all his strength into his legs, literally, his entire body stopped moving except his legs.

Lewis jumped high up in the air and clenched his fists before lifting his right hand back and attacking the instructor with all of his strength!

The instructor placed both of his hands in front of him and blocked Lewis' jump, however, he moved back a little.

' Brat, he actually managed to make me fall back!' the instructor was surprised but smirked as he put his hands together and raised them high in the air and sent them smashing into Lewis' head, don't worry, the instructor made sure not to use too much strength.

' F**k!' Lewis got hit by the attack that forced him to kneel to the ground. Lewis couldn't admit defeat and forcefully grabbed the instructor's sewed together arms and broke them apart before sending a powerful kick to the instructor's legs.

The instructor fell to the ground and Lewis decided to do the final blow, he removed strength from both his arms and left strength only in his legs and torso, he axe-kicked the instructor using his right leg before twisting his body and kicking the instructor a powerful kick to the ribs with his left leg.

In these mere two minutes, Lewis used every single ounce of strength in his body, he was like a wild beast!

" I give up!" The instructor said before rising from the ground and patting Lewis on the shoulder.

Meanwhile....

Everyone in the class room was shocked sensless from this duel, a student actually manage to win against the Instructor!

" Who is he?!" One of the students shouted, astonished, he wanted to know of this powerful person.

" Klaus Tiotaru, or Klaus Hades, he is the Avatar of the god Hades, ruler of the underworld and has just enrolled today" A girl squeezed out from the crowd of students before adjusting her black glassess and saying.

" Klaus Tiotaru..." Every student said simultaneously in astonishment, some recorded his strength for future purposes and some were in plain awe.

Meanwhile....

Lewis was surprised at how casually the instructor forfeited from the match, if he was that smooth with ladies, he would be the top man on the surface of earth!

Lewis opened his mouth to say something, but closed it and sighed before readjusting his clothes and heading to the garden, now it was lunch break.

He was extremely tired and was craving some chili oil noodles, he shook off that thought quickly though.

How can there be noodles in ancient Greece?

He arrived at the cafeteria and was immediately in awe. There was a wide and large banquet, with a white sign saying, " Eat As Much As You Like!".

' That's bold, do they have the avatar of the god of food or something?' Lewis wondered, did such a god actually exist?

He took a plate and slid in basic items, fish, eggs and some vegetables.

He sat at a table and started eating his food, ' So delicious!' Lewis' heart pounded fast at the taste of the food.

If it was a woman, he would definitely marr--

' Enough, Author'

A student suddenly approached Lewis he was tall and a bit handsome, that was all Lewis thought of him. Only really handsome people should be remembered.

(A/N: Totally not an excuse, like, i can guarantee you 100%....*chuckles awkwardly)

" Would you like a due-" The young man tried to speak, however, Lewis immediately shot a hell fire ray at thw ground in front of him.

" Piss off" Lewis growled, he looked at the student with killing intent, suffocating the student and making him leave.

The students nearby were all astonished of Lewis' bravery, did he not know who that was?

That was Apollo Zeus, the avatar of Zeus, and the son of the wealthiest family in Greece!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is my longest chapter yet at....let me check.... 2070 words!
