25 The return of a truck

(Shirou's pov)

I went to the swimsuit shop since when i together with Rin went pass that i saw something really interesting on display. There was a maid swimsuit. Black top, white short apron only covering the bottom, black stockings, black jacket and maid headpiece.

(Basically summer Artoria alter 2nd ascension)

I made the purchase thinking with the intention of giving it to Rin. I'll use that one day deal as Archer since they still owe me for that additional information I have out... ok, let's be honest. I gave out the information because I would get Rin as a maid for a day.

While I was buying it the clerk gave me the weird look it I didn't pay it any mind. I walked out of that shop happier than when I walked in.

Outside there was a girl with short platinum coloured hair. She wasn't tall, but wasn't short either. She wore a short skirt and a t-shirt with a truck on it. It was of course Truck-chan.

She had unusual serious expression but I didn't even notice since I was focused on myself and how I didn't attack her immediately. It seems that my talk with Cu helped a little. I still am scared of trucks but I seem to have more co control. I didn't forgave her but I didn't hate her as much as before.

Truck-chan: "We need to talk."

Her voice broke me out of my thoughts.

Shirou: "About what?"

Truck-chan: "Not here, let's change the location."

We went to the park and she sat on a bench. She made place for me, tapped a few times to insinuate for me to sit beside her and said.

Truck-chan: "First, would you sit next to me?"

I walked up to her... and hit her on the head.

Shirou: "I thought you're going to be serious."

She looked at me with tears in her eyes while holding her head in 'pain'.

Truck-chan: "And I'm going to but the opportunity was far too great to let it go!"

Truck-chan: "Ok, enough joking. What I want to discuss is very important to you. ROB messed up with your wish."

I don't like where this is going.

Shirou: "Don't tell me I'm getting nerfed just before the big fight. You know how angry I was the last time you did this to me."

Truck-chan: "Well yes, but actually no."

I squinted my eyes.

Shirou: "Explain."

Truck-chan: "Remember how you asked for all Emiya's power and ROB granted your wish but he messed up with execution."

Shirou: "Just like when you said that I could technically project Ea?"

Truck-chan: "No, it's entirely different case. That time it was I who informed you incorrectly, you could never do that to begin with."

Shirou: "So what kind of mistake did the ROB made?"

Truck-chan: "In fact he made two mistakes. The first one is to make your projections weaker than normal unless you trained them. You could bypass that by analysing the real weapon but the higher ups said it was entertaining so they let it slide."

Shirou: "Wait, higher ups?"

Truck-chan: "What? You thought that ROB or I am at the top?"

I nodded

Truck-chan: "Fortunately you don't need to worry about as they can't do anything besides watching.

Back to the topic. The second blunder was what we are going to talk about. When he gave you Avalon since Shirou in this timeline didn't receive it but when he created one he made it too strong. Massive instant regeneration ability plus almost unlimited stamina is kinda broken. You would be practically unbeatable unless your opponent would smash your head into a pulp or someone would be able to immobilize you."

Shirou: "Ok I get, I was a little bit overpowered. So what's going to happen now?"

Truck-chan: "The decision was to make Avalon weaker. You'll still have regeneration but it will be slower and you can die if your inner organs will be destroyed as your regeneration won't be able to heal you in time. Fortunately you can keep your increased stamina."

It made me so mad that I stood up.

Shirou: "So you are just gonna come up to me and nerf because it was 'uninteresting'?"

Truck-chan: "Calm down, it wasn't my decide to make and I even made sure you get some benefits from that."

I raised my eyebrow since I didn't expect that. I sat down once again and it made Truck-chan smile.

Shirou: "What do you mean?"

Truck-chan: "I pulled some strings here and there so you would get a little bonus."

Shirou: "What kind of bonus?"

Truck-chan: "I can't say but you will know when it'll happen. The only hint I can give you is that'll happen when all your skin will be dark and your hair white and continue using magecraft."

Shirou: "*Sigh* And you probably wont tell me no matter what."

Truck-chan: "Sorry, can't do."

I shrugged my shoulders.

Shirou: "Figures."

Truck-chan: "Ah, before I forget. There is one more thing that I want to discuss. Because ROB made the mistake the higher ups punished him by isolating him from any wheels in the radius of 1000 km. It made him enter berserk state and upgraded one of your skill and we still can't undo that."

I was confused.

Shirou: "Is that bad. Shouldn't I be happy that one of my skills is better than it should be?"

Truck-chan: "Depends, do you like having 'lucky' accidents."

My faced lost all it's colour hearing that.

Shirou: "Don't tell me the skill that was upgraded was..."

Truck-chan: "Harem protagonist Ex or should I say harem protagonist Ex++ at the moment."

Shirou: "So the reason I had more accidents than usual is because of that skill. Don't tell me there are more side effects that I'm unaware of."

Truck-chan turned her head away from me.

Shirou: "Oy!"

Truck-chan: "Ok, ok there is just one side effect if you even call that."

Shirou: "Spit it out then."

She took big breath in and breath out.

Truck-chan: "You will almost certainly have a harem."

I blanket out for a second.

Shirou: "You are joking... right?"

Truck-chan: "The name of the skill is harem protagonist for ROB's sake, what did you expect."

Shirou: "B-but I don't want to have a harem. The only one I wanted to date was Rin and hiw much would I need to work to support a harem, I mean I know that if Luvia would me in the harem the problem is solved but I don't want to use her as just a convince and-.

*slap*

I was slapped by her. It probably will leave a red hand imprint on my cheek. After she slapped me, she hold my head with both of her hands and said.

Truck-chan: "Listen to me, I didn't fall in love in a man who in a man who thinks about useless things. If you don't want to have a harem then don't, show fate that you can't be controlled."

I looked in amazement into her eyes. I think it was the first time she said something useful.

Shirou: "Wait, fall in love? When, how, why?"

She started act bashful like a maiden in love.

Truck-chan: "D-do I need to?"

I lost all my composure and hit her harder than last time but instead of crying she started breathing heavily but quickly returned to normal.

Truck-chan: "It was when we met in the woods for the first time. Your anger was..."

She once again started breathing heavily and shaking a little.

Truck-chan: "...amazing and I couldn't stop daydreaming after that day and started to look at you in a diffrent light."

Shirou: "You are a M!!? I always thought you were a S."

Truck-chan: "Common misconception but I'm Mitsubishi afterall."

Shirou: "But why did you cry when I hit you earlier?"

Truck-chan: "Because you hit me a lot lighter than I expected."

Shirou: "But what about our first meeting. You behaved normal so why are you so suddenly changing your whole character."

Truck-chan: "I didn't change my character. I like to tease you but after our meeting I started to like being abused more. Just imagining your sword impaling me makes me shiver."

She hugged herself and started shaking.

Truck-chan: "But nevermind that, we were talking about you and giving fate a middle finger so go and show that no one manipulates you."

I nodded my head and started walking home. I didn't notice that behind my back Truck-chan was shaking her head and muttered.

Truck-chan: "Sorry Shirou but your fate was sealed since you awoke in this body."
