Illya: "Molon labe?"

Ruby: "In ancient Greek it means come and take them. It is classical expression of defiance. This phrase is mostly attributed to king Leonidas I."

Illya: "You're seem to be very knowledgeable about it, Ruby. How do you know all this stuff?"

Ruby: "I'm constantly connected to internet so I can provide answers to my master's questions."

Ruby answered proudly but in Illya's eyes she was reading of a page from internet since she didn't know the answer herself but at the same time was quite jealous remembering all the difficult tests in her school and how easy would it be with this ability.

Illya: "Wait, if Archer-San is using this phrase does it have something to do with the weapons he is currently using?"

Illya is curious about his shield and spear since it's the first time she saw him using them.

Ruby: "Probably, since we saw him using weapons from the past such as Gae Bolg, Balmung or even Excalibur we can assume he can summon even more and from what I know his shield looks like typical hoplites."

Illya: "Ho-hoplites?"

Illya had a little trouble pronouncing the word she never heard before.

Ruby: "You should really study more, Illya. If you stay dumb stealing your brother's heart will be hard. Anyway hoptiles were shields used by Greek infantry."

Illya: "S-s-stop saying stupid things."

Illya was really embarrassed as her the most hidden secret was blabberd by the insensitive wand. Fortunately for her no one was there to hear that besides Chloe who already knows it and. Archer and Bazett were to busy fighting each other to hear idle talk of a little girls and her wand.

Opposite to Illya who started to argue with Ruby and completely forgot about ongoing battle, Chloe was focusing on the pair of a boy and woman. She was waiting for opening to defeat the opponent.

(Shirou's pov)

*Clang*

The sound of a fist making contact with a metal shield spreads out on the battlefield.

Bazett has the strength of a servant and I can feel it in my bones. Thankfully the shield is holding up. After I blocked her punch I countered her with a spear thrust but she grabbed and pulled it. I let it go easier than what Bazett expected and projected another one and making a few fast thrusts once again but Bazett managed to dodge them with ease. She then punched my shield making me ejecting me backwards a few meters.

Bazett: "What's your name?"

Shirou: "Huh?"

Bazett: "I said, what's your name? I recognize you as an worthy opponent so I would like to know your name. It's a real shame since I'm on my job so I can't enjoy our fight longer. There are not many who could match me in a physical strength but you seem to keep up and still hiding some tricks but I need to finish this up."

The air around Bazett changed and it seems she is even more serious than before. I couldn't tell since her face looks always serious.

Anyway, what she said ticked me off.

Shirou: "Who said that you'll win? And the Name Archer by the way."

Bazett: "I'll remember that name."

I abandoned my shield and spear and as they disappearing I project Kanshou and Bakuya. I tried to fight a little differently and Bazett seemed to be good opponent since I couldn't use any big attacks but fighting defensively isn't my style and besides I'm most comfortable with my twin blades.

I rushed her with one of the blades and threw the other but she easily blocked it. The other sword flew a short before it started curving and coming to the other sword. Bazett of course was aware of these sword ability since she saw it a few times already.

Bazett: "The same trick won't work."

She shattered the sword without even looking back at it.

Shirou: "Did you forget already that I like to add minor changes to the old tricks."

I said as I smiled beneath my mask.

As she focused her attention on the flying blade I project a few sword above us. The were ready to launch any second.

Bazett of course wasn't dumb and her battle instincts were too notch so she immediately noticed danger from above.

I took a step back so I wouldn't be pierced by one of my blades and launched them right away. Bazett punched an earth beneath her to create a wall made of earth around her, protecting her in the process.

Seeing this I jumped in the air and projects fake Nine Lives and with it's weight I quickly started to fall hoping to at least inflict a little bit of damage with heavy weapon.

Bazett sensing my attack punched right through the wall she created and managed to hit me in the arm. I think she broke some bones with that punch but thanks to Avalon inside me I sont need to bother with such wounds. It still hurts but in a few seconds it will be completely healed.

Bazett goes out from the inside of the walls to see me unharmed. It suprise her greatly as even servants were not able to do it.

Bazett: "It seems that you have either almost absolute defence or insanely fast regeneration."

Thus battle maniac is insanely sharp. If I'm not careful next time I meet her she will recognize me even without this getup.

While I was focusing my all on this battle I didn't notice that Miyu came back from the shopping.

Miyu: "Shouldn't we go help him?"

Illya: "I don't know but he seems... happy."

Chloe: "Did you forget that if he loses this woman will come after us?"

Miyu: "What!!!?"

Illya: "I think we forgot to explain situation to Miyu."

And just like that the battle continues.
