4 Training

(Shirou's pov)

The next day in the morning, I saw Kiritsugu drinking coffee alone. His face shows deep thinking. Noticing me, he smiled and greeted me.

Kiritsugu: "Good morning, Shirou. Did you sleep well?"

Shirou: "I slept like a baby. What did you think about it? It seems important."

Hearing me, he frowned.

Kiritsugu: "Irisviel and I need to go on another business trip, but I can't leave you with your condition, so I'm just trying to find a solution for this problem."

These words make me feel warm inside.

Shirou: "Don't worry about it. I can take care of myself, and it would be more suspicious if you don't go because of me."

Kiritsugu then stands up, walks to me, and pats my head. It's strange but not a bad feeling. Now I understand how people could take lolis with this legendary technique. Thankfully I'm not a loli as far as I know, but more importantly, will I learn this skill in the future, and if yes, should I hide from FBI-san.

Kiritsugu: "Thank you, Shirou.

After our conversation, we ate together with the whole family. That includes Sella and Leysritt.

To be honest, I don't like Sella too much because of how she was towards Shirou. She would punch Shirou just because she was a bit embarrassed.

Now that I think about it, Rin and Sella are very similar, but I still take Rin over Sella any day. Sella has too much tsun for my taste. Are all women in Fate so aggressive? I know there are girls like Sakura, but she is scary in another way.

On the other hand, we have Leysritt. She does nothing around and uses Shirou to do her chores. In Sella's case, she at least does what she should.

Shirou in original Prisma Illya was a pushover but not on my watch.

After breakfast, I got a note from Kiritsugu with a map telling me the way to school. I forgot that I didn't know how to get there.

The school day was tiring, but thankfully, Shirou didn't have any close friends in middle school, just some acquaintances. They didn't even suspect anything. I tried to get some information about school clubs hoping to find an archery club, but unfortunately, there was no one. I'll need to train archery by myself until high school.

School ended, and I went straight home, left my things in my room, and went out again to find a place to train.

A short time later, I found woods. Not many people visit here so that no one would bother me.

Now that I found my training ground, I'll start training itself.

What better way to start than to project the primary weapons of Archer. Kanshou and Bakuya are famous Chinese swords also known as Gān Jiàng and Mò Yé. Their rank is C- but their utility makes up for that. These swords attract each other and will always come back as if it was a boomerang. This works well with projection, allowing an already projected blade to identify a new projection as its partner sword.

I had no problem projecting them, which is strange. I thought it would be more complicated. Maybe compatibility between me and those swords is almost perfect, or their rank is low enough for me not to have problems.

Moving on to testing, I threw Kanshou to see if it would come back as it should, and it did. I did the same test with Bakuya, and there were no problems.

Next, I summoned nameless bow archer uses.

(A/N: Correct me if that now has a name)

For an arrow, I project Caladbolg II. It's Caladbolg modified with reinforcement magecraft to be an arrow. It's rank A noble phantasm, but the one I created feels weaker than it should be, but it's nothing training won't solve. As of now, Caladbolg feels like D+ noble phantasm at most, but I can't test it yet. I don't want to destroy the forest at the moment and alarm mage association, so I'll just create as many weapons as I can.

Now let's go into defense and test Rho Aias as it's the greatest shield available to Archer Emiya. It has a look of seven petals flower, and each of these petals has the power of a fortress. It also takes two to three the amount needed for a standard projection. At the moment, I can utilize only three petals.

Day went by as I was projecting different types of weapons. It was already dark outside as I was absorbed in my activity, so I rushed home despite my tiredness.

As I opened the door to my house, I saw a flying kick going towards me.

Sella: "You are late!!"

Thanks to Mind's Eye, I instinctively dodged it, surprising Sella, who flew through the door. She is looking at me as if her whole worldview was crushed.

Sella: "Why and how did you dodge!?"

Shirou: "Why shouldn't I dodge?"

Sella: "Because you are late and you didn't answer me, how did you do it."

Shirou: "First, being late isn't enough reason to give me a concussion."

Sella: "But you never dodged before."

Shirou: "I'm fed up with constant abuse of me, so I secretly started training."

After that, I went up to my room, leaving shocked Sella on the floor. Even Leysritt stopped eating her chips, looking at me in disbelief. They probably think that I'm in my rebel phase.

I noticed a new letter on the pillow in my room, and I'm hoping it's not what I'm thinking. Opening it, I read.

Truck-chan: "Long time no see... hear or should I write read. Never mind that I'm sending you this letter because I gave you the wrong information last time. You see, you can't project divine construct, sorry. It was some time since I watched Fate, and I forgot about it, so no Ea for you."

Is she for real? I was so excited about wielding mjölnir. Who made her a goddess.

Truck-chan: "As an apology, I have to Archer Emiya's clothes, and they'll grow with you. What a steal you got. To wear this, you need to imagine them on yourself.

Why do I feel like this truck has the smuggest smile on her face?

Truck: "Ps. This time I'll write real Ps. You still can project Excalibur but not as powerful as the original. Plus, you have Avalon inside you, so don't worry about injuries.

At this point, I just stopped reacting. It's not that I stopped caring, but I didn't know how to respond, so I decided to sleep.

(A/N: Author here, I wanted to clarify some things. Some of you thought I gave our mc power of imagination, but it wouldn't be further from the truth. When I said that he needed to imagine a weapon he wanted to use, it was just a catalyst to use his power. After visualizing it, he can start replicating said weapon, but its rank will be one lower than the original.

I forgot about creating Ea that Shirou couldn't trace divine constructs, so I used our favorite magical girl Truck-chan as a plot devise. If there is something I looked overwritten in the comments, I'll try to correct myself if possible.)
