Reincarnated As Clara In The Flash

(Third POV)

Chloe was lying in her hospital room, her tiny body wrapped in a cocoon of white sheets. The fluorescent lights hummed overhead, casting an otherworldly glow on the pale walls while she looked out the window where it was night and raining the city light shone.

Chloe was only three years old when she was admitted into the hospital, She hated being in the hospital, Chloe wanted to go home and be with her mommy and daddy and no longer wanted needles poking her or taking disgusting medicine that made her hair fall off she wanted to go home.

Outside the window, rain tapped rhythmically against the glass. Drops slid down like tears, mirroring the sadness etched on her parents' faces. They hovered over her, their voices hushed and she could barely even hear them, discussing treatments, medications, and the uncertain road ahead. 

The cancer had invaded Chloe's body and lungs when she was just three years old, causing her to be admitted to the hospital due to her not being able to breathe much and not having much of an appetite before she passed out in front of her parents which caused her to go the hospital and be diagnosed with Lung Cancer stage 3.

She never got to do many things outside anymore now all Chloe can do is rest in her bed, watch TV, and take Chemotherapy, painkillers, and Immunotherapy which caused Chloe to hate taking medicine and even think about it.

Chloe also had a hospital routine which she memorized for the past four years since it's always been the same like she would have morning rounds which were Doctors discussing scans, nodding gravely, or offering cautious optimism to her parents for any progress.

Then the doctors would use needles for IV Drips which she hated needles and poke her arm, Chloe got used to the water-dropping and used it as a lullaby to get through the day then in the afternoon she would look out the window to see the city then she would also hug her teddy bear her mother and father to think of them when they were busy.

During the four years in the hospital, surgery wasn't an option so other treatments were needed like Radiation, Clinical Trials which, Chloe hated the clinical trials had needles, disgusting medicine, and the same old words that she always heard from doctors "You will be fine you won't feel a thing." They lied to her as she did feel the needles and after that, she thankfully didn't need to see needles anymore due to overhearing one doctor saying almost all Clinical Trials had failed so they had to rely on Chemo and Radiation.

One day in Chloe's hospital room where she was done with her hospital routine her father came to visit. He'd sit on the edge of her bed, eyes tired yet determined to be there for Chole. His hands held something... a tablet that seemed out of place in this sterile environment that she started hating more every day.

"Chloe," he'd whisper, "I have something special for you."

The tablet's screen came alive with vibrant colors—the mobile game "Honkai: Star Rail." Chloe's fingers traced the tablet and saw the logo with the train and decided to play the game and chose her characters and had a lot of fun trailblazing that it made her forget that she was ever sick in the first place. But it was Clara and her companion, Svarog, that captured her heart. The giant robot stood tall, its armor gleaming, and how both of them were like father and daughter.

"See?" her father said, pointing at the screen. "When you play this game, you're not just a sick little girl. You're in this world even if it's for a little bit Chole."

As days turned into weeks, Chloe's connection deepened. She dreamed of Svarog and imagined herself as Clara with Svarog and helping, fighting against monsters. Her father's voice also helped her understand the game and the journey, narrating each quest and side stories. Chloe then saw her father had a sad face now every time he visited it started appearing after finishing The Xainzhou Luofu Arc.

Chloe saw her father and mother talking with the doctor and they were sad but they covered it up with a smile and continued playing the game with Chole.

One night, after grueling chemotherapy, Chloe felt more tired than usual as her hospital routine didn't happen today nor did any doctors come in which she enjoyed as she then grabbed her teddy bear that was nearby and hugged it close and Chloe felt she needed a nap and closed her eyes no longer hearing the beeping of the machines as they faded in the dark, and she opened them to find herself no longer in the hospital bed. Instead, she stood in an alleyway, rain pouring down and she was wearing a large red overcoat that was covering her from the rain and she had in her hand is a teddy bear and she saw a puddle and saw her appearance...She looked like Clara.

"I...I can move...I can breathe normally, I finally don't have to see doctors anymore or drink disgusting medicine." Chloe said happily as she hugged her teddy bear in joy at the thought of no longer seeing doctors or drinking disgusting medicine. "Mommy, Daddy! I'm okay we can finally go home!" Chloe finally looked up to see nobody which confused her and got up and looked around while holding her teddy bear close.

"Mommy...Daddy! Where are you I'm scared..." Chole heard a random noise that made her get scared and started running only to fall due to her shoes dropping her teddy bear and spraining her ankle.

Chloe quickly took off her shoes not caring about the pain in her ankle and grabbed her teddy bear and ran barefoot. Looking around Chloe saw a building that was out of business and was boarded up except there was an open space for her to enter which she did and crawled inside.

Chloe was able to finally breathe and hug her teddy bear tightly while murmuring "I wanna go home."

Ding!

Chole heard a bell which made her look with teary eyes to see a blue screen in front of her. 

 "Welcome [Player] to the Adventure System"

"This system will help the player with building robots that can be made as [Companions] and can be added to the [Party] function. The [Companion] function will allow companions to be summoned to the party leader if called upon other available functions are [Inventory], [Status], [Quest], and [Map]. Other features will be available if certain tasks are completed by the [Player] so have fun adventuring.

"A...system? I can make robots...does that mean I can make Svarog?" Chloe asked the system and nothing happened but then the screen changed and had more words.

"Correct you will be able to make [Svarog] if the following material are found.''

"I see...I will try my best...I still wish I could go home." Chloe said softly to herself as she decided to see more of the system and what it could do as she pressed [Status].

Chole could see her name was now Clara which she didn't hate but it would be something to get used to Chole then hit the other function which was the [Quest] and she found a quest ready for her.

"Mr. Svarog I can build him no matter what I have to build Mr. Svarog to protect me even the other robots I will build this place like a camp even for others that need help." Chloe said to herself with determination with her own set of goals established.

Chloe then pressed the [Map] function and the blue screen then went to the floor flat and showed her location and then the whole city and its name.

"Central City? Ivo Laboratories? I have never heard of this city and it's even huge I could get lost in this city easily without even trying and I'm in a Laboratory no wonder why the floor is metal." Chloe thought as she had no idea what she even doing or why she was even in this city and not with her parents.

Ding!

Chloe got excited and quickly redeemed the rewards and clicked on the blueprint for Svarog and was excited as she was near the material needed to create Mr. Svarog

Chloe quickly checked the other blueprints and saw she could create the Belobog robots that would cost her 20 Mechanical parts and she would just need to build it with the system's help. Chloe decided to wait and save up for Mr. Svarog and create him first before the rest of the other robots.

What Chloe didn't know was that creating Svarog would put her on notice by others and most importantly Dr. Wells

___Authors Note: Finally Prologue is done and I can finally start the story! Chloe's name will be changed to Clara in the next chapter and it will be in her POV Creating Svarog is important and how he will be made is also special due to him having other things in him later in the story.
