1 PROLOGUE
After dying a ridiculous death Alanis woke up in an unfamiliar and different scenery yet familiar environment.
"Am I dead? OMG! Th-this place! This was just like how novel authors describe the rooms or mansion in their novel!"
High ceiling, a big room with a touch of historical phase!
"I can't believe it! Did I really die? Am I reincarnated inside a novel?"
Who would have thought that intentionally stepping into a banana peel (just because of my fre*king urge) would cause me to death! Ha! Just imagining what would I look like when people saw my dead body on the floor and how would people react if they knew my cause of death is stressing me.
Nevertheless, I'm just an orphan who doesn't even have a decent job in my last life, so might as well enjoy this new life, especially since I'm inside a novel.
Uhm actually I'm not 100% sure that I'm inside a novel but I'm guessing since this looked exactly how I picture it out while reading a novel!
I've always been dreaming to be reincarnated in a novel and now I did! I can't stop grinning while pinching my tights just to make sure that this is not a dream. That I'm not dreaming while being comatose after stepping a banana peel.
"It hurts! So this is real right?"
I looked to the left and right corner of this room, trying to find hidden cameras. This is not a prank, right? No one would tell me that this is a prank? Well, no one would prank me anyways but it's better to be sure.
Anyways since there's no camera hidden I decided to start figuring out what novel I've reincarnated to.
Isn't it time for a maid to come in? Usually, in any novels or reincarnated novels, a maid would come in and would hysterically say "THE YOUNG MISS I AWAKE!!" etc.
Since I couldn't wait any longer I decided to get up and find a mirror to see whose body I transmigrated to.
Is it the last novel I read? Then I would be able to see the male lead Raphael and the heroine Leticia!!
It's not bad to be the heroine Leticia! Oh, no! I would gladly be the Villainess Yuri who is the only daughter of the emperor!
Oh my, I'm so excited that I started running towards the mirror.
But to my dismay, this isn't a character in the latest novel that I read.
Pale skin, scarlet hair, and eyes. This is not a description of Leticia or Yuri. It seems familiar but I can't pinpoint where did I read this description.
"No way! Do-don't tell me this body belongs to her? No! I refused to believe it! This can't be! I can't be! I became Y-"
*clang*
"Young miss? THE YOUNG MISS IS AWAKE? INFORM THE DUKE OF ASHFORD!"
Suddenly I heard the confirmation that I don't want to hear.
I became the Villainess Yuri.
The only problem was I wanted to be Yuri Belggard the Villainess in the last novel that I read but I end up becoming Yuri Ashford the Villainess in a poorly written but still overrated novel that I read when I was 15!
It's my fault I should have been specific when I said that I would gladly be the Villainess Yuri.
Just thinking about it cringes me. Oh God, what did I just do?
