1 The Coronation (Prologue)

'It's so itchy!' I thought to myself as one o my maids dressed me in a fancy robe. Honestly, I didn't want to do this coronation, but I felt it was necessary to show the people I truly am.

"Please have some patience, master. If you can hold through for a couple of hours, I am sure it will be worth all this...preparation." The maid, whose name is Ashley, encouraged and comforted me.

'*sigh* I suppose you are right. A figure of importance such as myself could show a little bravery once in a while. However, how do I know what to say and do if I mess this up?" I asked worriedly. I mean, sure, I am the supreme being, but I have never been an excellent public speaker, especially in large halls.

"Master, please calm down, you are breaking the room," Ashley said calmly, doing the big chandelier that broke over our heads. Sighing, I resigned myself to the fate of trying to impress everyone, which seems quite easy in one's head but is a living hell once you try to perform.

With one last tug, my robe and cape have been tied to my body, which I chose to be in the shape of a human. That is one of the many problems with a shape-shifting body. You have to get all of your outfits tailored if they do not have magical properties. Normally I would have used my mythical-type clothing, but these clothes were a gift from the human kingdom, which is one of my largest supporters.

"you will do great," Ashley said, giving me a passionate kiss before leaving out the servant door that leads out of my dressing room.

'Alright, big guy, time to step up and show these beings that you are worthy of being their ruler' I thought to me, shaking my hands. Making sure I look presentable in these ridiculous human clothes, I open the door and walk out into the bright hall, which was lit by thousands of candles, encased in golden sconces.

walking slowly to the shining crystal pedestal, which was recently brought to me from the heavenly realm, I stepped up and cleared my through, performing a little magic, which amplifies voice. With beautiful stained glass windows behind me and surrounding the audience, I looked out at all the faces of the people I will soon be ruling.

In the front are the gods, all 7 of them, including the Demon King, who is actually a women. Suprises all around the first time I met her. Seeing Azura, I waved. Very cringy, but I got a slight smile and a wave back. Behind the gods were the angels. Behind them were the demons, then the humans, and then the beastkin. The vampiric race was hanging from the ceiling while the draconic race was on the balcony. In each of the other races, there were at least a couple thousand representatives, filling this already massive hall to the brim.

"Alright, before the ceremony starts I would like to give a speech to all of you, one of which will allow me to express both my gratitude towards your support and my plans for the future. First off, I would like to acknowledge all the representatives who came here tonight. It must be difficult to come here, as this place can be intimidating to many. And also, your support for my rule will extend to you in only a months time.

"When I first came here, I was chased and injured many times. This land is a trecherous one, but one that helped me get to where I am today. The people I have met, individuals I have alliances with, and the kingdoms I have conquered all played a major role, so everyone clap for all the men and women, and whoever else may have helped unite all the races once again." I said with enthusiasm, which was returned ten fold.

"Alright, quite down. As you all know, the unity of the races has been broken for centuries, with no one even attempting to unite them. However, this is not the case for me. I have put all my worth into achieving this goal. The strength of many is greater than the strength of the few, and that phrase could definitely be applied to all of us. What I am trying to say is, I, from the bottom of my heart, appreciate being able to unite this world again, and wish for this to last forever." I said, finishing off my speech with a pretty convincing summary.

Right after, quite flooded the hall, making it more claustrophobic than it already is. However, seconds later, the room flooded with something else. The sounds off clapping and cheering, reverberating everyware. With a big smile of my face, I gestured for one of the gods to come up with me, who turned out to be the god of fire.

All of this was planned before hand, obviously, but the thing that surprised me was the crown that he pulled out. Not only was it made of some sort of glowing firery rock, but also ice, some vines, and some other effects as well. Using my appraisal skill on it, I was stunned to my core.

Seeing my surprised face, the Fire God only smiled while placing it on my head. The cheering started to grow louder and the God took his hands off of the crown, leaving it on me.raising my head, I flashed the crowd a big smile. "Alright, time to party!" I shouted, snapping my fingers. Immediatly after snapping, a large banquet table appeared to the left of the audience, which surprised them, but in a good way. With a little pushing and shoving, everyone got food, danced, and all got along together. Even the vampires started to dance on the ceiling.

No one saw me leave. No one saw me disappear into thin air. And no one saw the devilish smile cross my face as I thought of how easily I was able to fool every race on the entire planet.
