8 Chapter 8 - Weiss Schnee

After he had made it back to his hotel room he had pulled out a booklet that had the memories of everything that would be useful for this world that he had written down just in case he had forgotten somethings when he got older.

He had gone over all the information in the booklet to jog his memories and then wrote some ideas down for the compact weapon that could switch between and Scythe and chain scythe. His training scythe was starting to hit its limit. After writing down everything he could think of he pulled out a green sleeping mask and went to sleep.

The next morning he had woke up rolled out of the bed. He still had his green sleeping mask on halfway over his eyes as he took a shower and got ready to ride the ship to head to Beacon.

After gathering his things for the night he left and arrived at the ship in only 15 minutes and still had thirty minutes before it took off. He had a duffle bag with him slung over his shoulder with his Eclipse scythe on his back. After getting to the ship he was feeling drowsy and walked further in and eventually leaned his back against the wall by a trash can after entering the ship and nodding off.

Shallot could hear some talking around him as some people were looking at him and the scythe on his back. Everyone else had their weapons in a compacted form due to their weapons being personally made. They usually didn't see anyone carrying a weapon that wasn't transformable. What also surprised them was that there was a slight indent on the ship floor underneath him.

Shallot just ignored everyone but kept his ki aura around him just in cause since he didn't want to pull a Goku. He nodded back off to sleep while pulling his face mask down completely.

After about five minutes of napping, he could hear someone puking in the garbage can next to him and could smell the vomit.

Shallot: "Oh great vomit boy is here."

The one vomiting into the trash can heard that and felt upset that he's been called vomit boy in the last 5 minutes by more than one person.

Shallot lifted his sleeping mask slightly and walked away from the trash can since the ship had just landed and walked with the rest of the students to exit the ship. Shallot walked out seeing a familiar girl with red and black hair talking to a girl with yellow hair. The yellow-haired girl walked away with what appeared to be her friends leaving her standing there.

Shallot: "Oh ... there's Ruby and it seems that she met up with her sister Yang."

Shallot started walking over towards Ruby while Ruby seemed that she wasn't paying attention and fell backward into a cart carrying some suitcases that were knocked over. Behind the cart is a white-haired female that came towards Ruby.

White-haired female: "What are you doing."

Ruby: "Sorry."

White-haired female: "Sorry? Do you have any idea the damage you could have caused? This is dust mined and purified by the Schnee Query. What are you brain dead? Dust, fire, water, lightning, energy. Are you even listening to me? Is any of this sinking in? What do you have to say for yourself?

As she was talking she was shaking a vile of dust in her hand sending slight dust into the air.

Ruby got some in her nose and sneezed causing the dust to a light charring the white-haired female. After the small explosion, the dust vile flew through the air landing next to a black-haired girl.

Shallot was snickering and walked right next to Ruby looking at the comical scene in front of him while trying not to laugh out loud.

White-haired female: Unbelievable!

The white-haired girl seemed to be infuriated.

Shallot turned to look at her before making his entrance into the conversation.

Shallot: "What's really unbelievable is that someone would carry around a large amount of dust in such an unprotected way. The way you have been transporting dust goes against the safety guidelines of dust transportation in public areas.

All dust that could be considered volatile when next to other dust should be kept in a secure container and locked down in a weighted carry cause which is capable of reducing possible damage due to collisions.

The way you've been transporting dust goes against those very guidelines which means that you could be sued for negligence and endangering the lives of other people for not properly securing the dust to reduce any possible risk within human error."

Shallot looked towards Ruby and nudging her with his elbow.

"So Ruby do you want to sue this princess here."

The black-haired female walked forward entering the conversation.

Black-haired female: "It's heiress, actually, Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company. One of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world.

Weiss: Finally some recognition.

Black-haired female: The same company for its controversial work practices, labor forces, and questionable business partners.

Shallot: "On top of that the Schnee's are one of the reasons that the Faunus race has been sent and packed onto an island with only 1/3rd livable space while also going after businesses that employ Faunus as workers so they can monopolize the market even though they aren't doing anything to help those in need due to one group of Faunus attacking their shipments."

Weiss looked back and forth between Shallot and the black-haired girl that was in front of Weiss.

Weiss: "How dare ... the nerve ... Uhh ..."

Weiss snatched the dust vile from the black-hair girl's hand and stormed off while staring angrily at Shallot.

Shallot: 'I'm going to have to put in extra work to get on snow whites good side later but she needs to learn not to be so snobby' and then exhaled.

Shallot turned to the black-haired girl but she was already walking off.

Shallot: 'Wait ... wasn't that Blake ... I mean my little mittens.'

Shallot started giggling thinking about was to mess with Blake while they are here together at school. He started at a young age slowly telling her that him having a harem was a good thing and that she would have a large family where she would have a lot of sisters. It wasn't brainwashing, it was educating.

Shallot was about to run after her when Ruby sat down on the ground and laid on the ground. Shallot went and stood in front of her and squatted down poking Ruby's cheek.

Shallot: "Don't feel down Ruby. I'm still your friend so let's head in together."

Shallot reached out his hand while standing up to help Ruby get to her feet. In the distance standing behind a tree, a boy with yellow hair was standing watching everything going down while debating whether to come out or not.

Ruby grabbed Shallot's hand and stood up and they both started walking towards the building. While they were walking Shallot started to strike up a conversation with Ruby about her scythe she had back at the shop.

Shallot: "I heard that you trained with a scythe by a hunter and you're pretty good with it. What material is it made out of?"

Ruby perked up and then pulled out her scythe making it extend to its full length slamming it into the ground.

Ruby: "Not only is this a scythe, but it's also a customizable high, impact sniper rifle. I made it at Signal Academy. "I had noticed that you also have a scythe. Does yours have a compact form and did you make it yourself?

Shallot pulled his scythe off of his back swinging it the same way Ruby did and slammed it into the ground away from her but the difference was that it created a small crater.

Shallot: "I made my scythe and it weighs around 300 pounds. I've never had to worry about someone trying to steal it since it's so heavy and I use this as a way to train my body to become stronger. I'm still looking for someone to help me building a quite unique weapon that is capable of changing into another weapon. I also want to make a couple more since I trained in using multiple weapons."

Shallot: 'I wish I could find some weighted clothing but everyone relies on aura far too much instead of training their body strength. They could probably reach a power level similar to Blake after I had taught her how to use ki when we were kids.'

Shallot and Ruby continued talking about weapons. Shallot talked about all the test weapons he's made and used over in the last 6 years and Ruby told him about how she made her Crescent Rose. Shallot then started telling her about a book he wrote which is a story about a ninja named Shin Hayabusa who lives in a place called Hayabusa Village.

Two members of the army, Mizuki McCloud and Ishigami inform Shin of an attack of an unknown group of terrorists who hold the Vacuo headmaster and his family hostage.

Shin then travels to Vacuo. After fighting through hordes of enemies, he reaches the headmaster's residence. He encounters the Regent of the Mask who kills the headmasters while talking about creating a chemical agent that can control Grimm to do their bidding. After a short battle, the Regent puts a curse on Shin's arm.

The Grimm Sword that Shin had killed everyone with is absorbed into his forearm, resulting in extreme pain and a nasty red growth. The Regent leaves and Shin barely makes it out with his life. Shin is transported to the ATLAS headquarters.

There, he meets Cliff, Mizuki's brother-in-law, and Canna, Mizuki's Niece. They receive a disturbing broadcast from the Regent, stating that he will destroy the world in seven days. It is then up to Shin to go against all odds to protect the world against the Regent of the Mask.

He then goes on to tell her about the romance that he has slowly been introducing into it between him and a cat Faunus that he had grown up within the village.

Ruby had sparkles in her eyes as she listened to the story and was getting absorbed and forgot about the direction they were supposed to be going.

Ruby: "Do you know where we are going, Shallot?"

Shallot: "I ... was following you ... we can just find a map that says you are here and then go from there.
