33 Chapter 32 - Group Bonding

Shallot went and raided the kitchen looking for whatever food he could find in 5 minutes before they had to be in class and tried to eat as much as he could taking another 10 minutes before finishing and heading into class late.

Shallot went through the rest of his day listening to everything writing out a plan for everybody to train to get stronger.

Shallot: 'The gravity can be used for training multiple people at the same time. Maybe I should rename that ability. Gravity bubble sounds stupid, maybe I should call it a domain instead ... more importantly with gravity put into the mix I can get everyone on the team stronger as long as I know what their limitations are.'

Shallot pulled out a notebook while sitting in class writing down everything that would help in pinch situations. He already wrote down previously and started teaching Ruby hand-to-hand combat but he doesn't think she's going to be proficient enough with it in time to use it in the tournament.

Shallot: 'Maybe I should work on something that leans towards what she already knows. If I focus on distancing for her and countering moves while she doesn't have her weapon it could help her for times when her weapon gets stuck and she can't use it.

I don't want her to become the dependant on a weapon so much that she can't fight or survive without it. So footwork will also be something she will have to be taught.'

Shallot went over the plans and decided that he will get everyone after class to train together so that he can see what everyone can do together and whether they could continue improving in a short burst of time.

After the final class bell rang Shallot walked over to the rest of his team.

Shallot: "Yang, Ruby, Black ... and also Weiss I guess.

Weiss: "Hey."

Shallot: "Today I'm going to be training you for the upcoming time until the tournaments. How much you can improve will depend on your potential and how much you push yourselves with causing harm to your bodies."

Yang: "I'm always up for getting into a fight."

Blake: "Are we doing the same exercises that we did when we were younger or something different."

Shallot: "We'll be training with my semblance since it can help you become stronger if you train every day."

Shallot and the girls walked towards the backside of the school and Shallot activated his domain and had a spread it around for 5 meters around him. and increased the gravity to 2x. Blake could hardly feel the difference and was fine just more sluggish Shallot gauged their reactions so he could tell what they could take and after giving five minutes for each increase he came to an interesting conclusion.

Weiss had the weakest body and that needed to be worked on because she could only handle 4 times gravity. Ruby could handle 5 times gravity but only barely and she lasted for only minutes before she was thrown to the ground. Yang could handle 6 times gravity and the interesting thing was that she could partially use her semblance to increase her strength for a short period of time.

Shallot: 'I'm guessing she can do this because technically the increased gravity is causing her body to take more stress and damage from being pressured.'

Blake had the highest resistance with being able to handle 8 times gravity being her absolute limit.

Shallot: 'I should also find out what my absolute limit is if I was to use all of my strength and not use it casually. I should increase until I can barely move and not take a single step and then go from there. I can take as much stress as I can sense I can use the spirit orb technique to abuse my zenkai factor.

Hold on ... if life and death fights increase the zenkai ability further I wonder what will happen if I use it during the tournament to push myself?'

Shallot started thinking while smiling about ways to completely abuse the abilities he has so that he can grow stronger the fastest he can sense he has a far more effective way to train.

Shallot stayed with the girl for 3 hours before they finished. He kept the gravity going for Weiss so she could get used to it while he had Blake spar with Yang to get used to people that were faster than her so she could develop a strategy and not rely fully on exchanging punches.

He trained Ruby personally and worked on her hand to hand combat and showing her grapple moves against opponents and even telling her the best ways to look for weakness in other people.

They were all sweating except Shallot. Blake had worked up a sweat from not pushing herself as she used to since the only reason she trained harder was that Shallot was constantly training while Ruby was lying on the floor with her arms spread out.

Ruby: "I'm so exhausted. Are we finished now?"

Shallot looked at Ruby breathing heavily on the ground.

Shallot: "Yeah, we're finished now so you all can take a shower. We'll continue doing the rest of the workout and training until we are finished preparing you for anything that could happen during the fights so you aren't caught off guard."

The girls got up from being exhausted while they all went in since it was getting dark. As they were walking Shallot pulled out his scroll and scrolled through it looking for Roman's number.

Shallot: 'He should have been able to get into contact with Neo recently so I can ask him to send me her new number.'

While he was about to text Roman he got a notification that his town was attacked by the "Silent Bandit".

Shallot: 'Why does this Silent Bandit keep attacking my town? Can't they fuck off?'

Shallot swiped the notification away before texting Roman.

[Shallot]: Did those Emerald deliver my message an is she going to fall under me?

[Second Favorite Ginger]: She didn't listen and is probably still going to go forward with whatever plan she has.
