Shallot was pacing back in forth in front of a door. Shallot's tail would hit the wall now and then, putting a hole in the wall. Shallot didn't know that waiting outside could be so nerve-racking.

"Why can't I be inside anyway. I want to see my beautiful baby." Shallot said to himself.

"WAAAAHHHH!" Shallot heard a loud baby cry from behind the door.

Shallot pushed the door open and walked inside, seeing a tiny baby in the arms of Blake lying on the bed. Shallot seeing the baby could see the tail sticking from the backside and the cat ears on the top of her head.

Shallot smiled seeing the little one, and a name came to him when seeing her small face.

"Have you named her yet?" Shallot asked Blake, who seemed out of breath but otherwise was fine.

"No, I was waiting for you to see her first, but from seeing your face, I guess you have a suggestion," Blake said while looking at the goofy smile on Shallot's face while looking at their child.

"Sabi Belladonna is the name that I thought of." Shallot said while looking at Blake holding little Sabi looking at her with affection.

Blake smiled, hearing the name like the sound of it.

Ruby pushed the door open, with Ruby coming inside.

"I want to see the baby!" Ruby yelled while the others could see that her stomach was slightly out more than usual.

Yang came in behind her and grabbed Ruby by her hoodie, pulling it.

"You should be moving around like that," Yang said while looking at Ruby, still being over-excited about everything.

When Ruby heard that Blake was having the baby today, she left the school and rushed to the hospital because she wanted to see the baby. Ruby looked over at Blake and saw the tiny baby in her arms.

"Awwh, she is adorable," Ruby said, fawning over the baby.

Shallot noticed that the baby seemed to be even stronger than Jaune currently, which he thought was hilarious. His newborn was stronger than an aspiring Hunter.

Shallot was trying not to chuckle at that thought.

"What's so funny?" Ruby asked.

"Sabi is stronger than Jaune even though she was just born." Shallot said.

Shallot reached into the inside of his shirt towards a pocket and pulled out a case. He opened the case, and inside it was what he had been working on in his spare time.

Yang looked over and didn't know what it was. She knew that Shallot spent a lot of his spare time working on machines but didn't know the exact functions of some of the things he was creating.

"What's that supposed to be," Yang asked, being curious about if it was some new camera device sense she could see a lense and buttons on the side.

"This is what I call a scouter. It will take in all the data around a person or object and determine its strength in numbers, known as a power level. It took me the past 6 months to complete it after working on it for 4 years previously." Shallot explained while pulling the scouter out.

Shallot placed the scouter on his face with the green-colored visor over his right eye. Shallot pressed a button on its side, and they could hear a beep.

It didn't only measure power levels. The scouter was made to check the girls for injuries and possible problems. He wanted a multipurpose device, and he finally completed it.

Everyone in the room heard the beeping sound with the doctor on the side being swept away with everything happening.

Shallot looked at his baby in Blake's arms and saw a set of numbers that he was familiar with, but no one else could read. They were the galactic language that he kept up with and used to program all of his tech with, so if someone got a hold of it, they would first have to decipher the language before even reaching the coding of the programs.

Blake, Ruby, and Yang could tell what the symbols appearing meant. They just looked like squiggles and shapes to them.

[Power Level 2000]

Shallot was a bit surprised seeing just how strong Sabi was. He wasn't expecting that. At most, he was hoping for his kids to have a power level around 500 or something. That would mean that his kids had a standard power level.

He wasn't sure if the power level was this high because of being born a half-breed or something else.

The baby had stopped crying and started to relax in Blake's arms.

*Beep Beep*

[Power Level 400]

"Huh?" Shallot was confused on why it dropped suddenly.

Blake scrunched her face seeing the confused look on Shallot's face.

"Is there something wrong with her?" Blake asked Shallot, not knowing if something was wrong with their baby.

Shallot clicked a different button on the scouter and walked around the bed to get more angles of Blake and the baby. The scouter beeped a couple more times, but everything seemed to be okay.

[Optimal Condition]

Shallot decided that since the machine said they were healthy, it should be accurate. Shallot was the one that built it with all his tech and knowledge of his.

Shallot thinks that maybe it was just a burst of power from being born or something. Shallot walked over to Blake, who had the little bundle of joy in her arms wrapped in a blanket.

Blake looked toward Shallot and handed Sabi to him to hold her. Shallot reached down and grabbed her holding her. Yang could see Shallot's tail moving slowly behind him before coming around to the front. Shallot put the tip of his tail on her forehead.

Sabi's eyes were squinted, and Shallot doubted that she could see anything. Shallot was happy seeing his firstborn and thought he would be looking forward to his time as a father.
