One Man Army

Perched upon a kilometer high wall a slightly bizarre-looking human was running his slender hands through his long golden hair. Sweat was dripping from his forehead as he tried to micromanage millions of undead troops at once.

The human had an almost divine aura surrounding him, mainly from his eyes that had a slight golden glow. He hummed a catchy tune from an unknown world while drumming his fingers on the wall below.

Suddenly a man dressed in full black materialized out of thin air and dropped to one knee beside the golden human.

"My lord they have made their move as expected"

The human seemed more annoyed than surprised by the information as his brows creased up ruining his perfectly sculptured face.

The black-cloaked man was part of the shadow guards of Eden. They are a group of black card-high humans.

Their main job was to protect Harley from the shadows but they also keep tabs on all the residents of Eden. This is why residents are unable to contact or interact with their families once they become blue card members as they are always being watched.

Under the instructions of their Lord, Xia. They had left the spies alone and allowed them to feed information to their superiors.

Xia looked towards the black-cloaked man "How many and what is the situation of the other immortals." Xia had been at this same location for 5 days now and since he was so focused on managing his army he couldn't spare the time to use his divine senses to scan the vast Utopia city. Since nobody had come to bother him he assumed everything was going fine.

The man paused for a moment to compose his thoughts into a presentable manner

"We had detected over 500 high-level entities entering the Underworld, they are all heading towards this location. The other immortals are still barely keeping the monsters at bay, some walls have even fallen. The civilian casualties are estimated to be around 100 million and a civil war has broken out."

The deaths and civil war were within expectations, Xia was at a loss of what to do about the high-leveled enemies approaching though. Would he have to fight 500 high-level enemies at once while also maintaining control over an undead army at the same time?

"Go protect Harley, you will be of little help here. I will handle this situation." he confidently said as if it was a small matter.

The black-cloaked man seemed taken aback by his master's confidence in fighting such a difficult battle but decided to believe in his master and disappeared to protect Harley.

Xia calmly stood and gazed upon the horizon with an indifferent expression. He could see many races heading in his direction.

The hundreds of powerhouses sent by many different religious organizations and empires sized up their opponent by releasing waves of aura and killing intent towards him.

The kilometer-high black wall shuddered under the pressure yet the golden-haired man stood firm and rejected the assault with his own aura and killing intent.

His body was caked in sweat as he desperately tried to repel such an enormous assault of power.

Xia looked up into his opponent's eyes with a furious expression, before him were beautiful women with green hair and long pointy ears, men with animal heads and tails, others had red or black skin and horns sticking out their heads. There were also hundreds of humans wearing religious-looking garments such as white robes.

The most shocking was a 500-meter long black dragon. Continental dragons were the largest type of dragon that usually reached 300 meters long so this must be an elder continental dragon considering that it's almost twice the size of a normal one.

Its demonic red eyes stared daggers at Xia. Even with his emotions suppressed and inability to feel fear due to being an undead, Xia still felt a cold shudder go through his spine.

An elderly man with priest robes stood slightly forward, despite there being 20 kilometers between Xia and the powerhouses due to all the high levels they had no issue with talking at this distance.

"Greeting King Xia, the Surface Alliance has decided that you must hand over Utopia city and Eden to us,"

The old man then gave a creepy smile "and while we are at it since I am so generous I will allow your daughter to marry me!"

There were some gasps as even those around the old man couldn't believe he was so shameless to demand marriage to a child while he was hundreds of years old… the church is full of sick bastards.

A dense wave of killing intent radiated out as if a meteor has struck the planet. The monsters shuddered in fear despite their beserk state. All the immortals stopped fighting and turned to look in the direction with awe and fear.

The elderly man who had a smug smile on his face quickly frowned at Xia.

Xia's aura had spiked beyond a calculable measure. He used appraisal to bring up the man's status again. To his surprise, he didn't get an error message or question marks but his status screen actually exploded and appraisal was removed from his list of skills.

Xia's body quickly melted away and his already tall 2-meter tall body increased to a towering 6 meters.

All the enemies shuddered in terror, before them was a nightwalker, the strongest known existence. They are famous for having almost no weaknesses and zero recorded victories against their kind.

In Xia's mind a mission was given to him by the system:

Xia gave a sinister smile that went from ear to ear. He knew he was close to leveling up but finding high leveled opponents to kill was too much effort so he planned to buy his way to Godhood with coins.

But instead, hundreds of tasty snacks currently stood before him just waiting to be slaughtered and used as his stepping stones to divinity.

Xia quickly used stealth and teleport to instantly appear undetected before the elderly man. Using [Spirit Movement] his body phased out of the physical realm and into the spiritual allowing his claws to bypass the man's mana defense that coated his skin at all times.

Xia then unleashed his bloodlust as he canceled his skills. The elderly man couldn't even let out a screen due to his lungs and heart currently having meter-long metal claws impaling them as they materialized inside his body.

"You can go fuck urself in hell you sick old man," the sinister being said before ripping the man in half.

Shredded organs and blood flew everywhere coving many people nearby.

[Life Eater] Xia said with a theatrical pose, as a small transparent blob escaped the elderly man's obliterated body and merged with Xia's shadow body.

Xia shuddered in ecstasy as he absorbed the man's stats which were in the thousands.

Xia's body shone in divine light for a brief second and his body increased in height by 30 centimeters. Very small wings also started materializing on his back and two new small horns appeared on his forehead.

After a moment to examine his new body Xia let out a horrifying laugh like a true psychopath as he vanished from view again.
