4 Backstory of Light

[Light's POV]

"Sh*t man I'm going to be late for work ah."

"Ah sigh, I just barely made it this will be a very long day." Light said little out of breath

"Yeah I know right hey how are your parents doing it's been a while since I have asked you about them?" a mystery man asked

"Oh they are doing well Larry it's been a few days since I've chatted with them I been so busy with this project lately I think I'll try contacting them after work or if I can during lunch I'm just going to try to get a lot of this done before then." Light responded

Larry my best friend since kindergarten and like normal friends we had our ups and downs like arguing over this and that but hey I'm just glad we have been friends this long.

"Oh ok want to hang out after work today? Larry asked

"Nah man I'm trying to save my money so I can get a better house and car so I can maybe get a better job than this I need a little bit more Adventure ya know." Light said

"Adventure huh mean like the game you been working on with your team what was the name of it?" Larry asked

Oh you mean King and Hero art online, yeah but I'm still wondering what the new world-changing event should be, got a suggestion we already had the demon king's rise event and the Necromancer king event what do you think could be next?

"Hmm seeing as I play the game on my days off how about the succubus queen's revenge or to the NPC of the game demon queen's revenge?" Larry suggested

Hmm maybe but how exactly would that work the demon king should have been stronger

"Yeah, you could maybe have it as some of the other high-level demons trying to compete to be the new demon king or have a competition to have the rank 1 player be the new demon king because aren't there different worlds within the game?" Larry asked

"Yeah but that won't be implemented till after the third world-changing event" Light said

"Then do something the enables players to go to other worlds for like 1 giant holy platinum coin (ghp) like for the world-changing event boss a high-level alien that looks human, hey that I know of you haven't done anything with either the elves or dragonkin their NPC women are so hot you need to implement a system where players can give a romance with the NPC and if they pay IRL money to support the game build they can unlock an 18+ feature?" Larry said

"If you want that you need a girlfriend." Light said jokingly

"Then you need to get a girlfriend first then I will get one lol." Larry said teasingly

"Ok shut up now the boss is coming over." Light said trying to get back to work

"Hey Light where is the next update for the event we have a deadline in a week you know that right after this event the game is going out to the people for open-beta we had enough testing." Ashley said

"I'm thinking about making a boss that drops an item that is used to help the players travel to other worlds but I'm thinking it will maybe be one of either the elven race or the dragonkin race or another race I don't know yet ma'am?" Light said

"Go with the dragonkin they are stronger and can fly and the magic they have could have one being a portal teleporting spell, once they kill a high-level large dragon they will get a map and the spell the map will go to the dragon home planet but the players have to be in one of the dragon temples to use that spell." Ashley said

"Ok boss you got it I'll get to it have a good day ok." Light said

"Ugh that was a long and tiring day I'm glad I got so much work done but I continued through lunch." Light said stretching

"Currently the game is in beta testing but it won't be after the third world-changing event if the bosses died by the beta testers they would reset to 4 months before the event so that way people can play in the event and just for the slow players who take their time and do the side and secret quest like Larry suggested we added the NPC affection meter, there will also be secret world-changing events but they won't change much just how your character could either get better or worse depending on how you did on that small world event but nothing like if you did bad or failed it you would get a handicap that won't happen only thing it will do is either make your character look a little different or do -1 in all stats permanently."

"Hey Larry wait up I'm glad I caught up to you just before you went." Light said

"Oh hey I thought you weren't coming?" Larry asked

"Yeah I wasn't going to but since I didn't eat lunch I changed my mind." Light said

"Oh ok then come on." Larry said

"Ugh I'm glad that I only have to walk home seeing that I don't live that far away from the bar I'm a little drunk Larry."

"Dude few more shots we haven't hung out in a while with you working on the game and all that." Larry said

"Oh ok just a few more ah my head hurts a little bit."

"Here you go dude enjoy them it's from the top shelf." Larry said

"Wait how with your salary you can't?" Light asked confused

"Dude I thought I told you I got a raise." Larry said

"Well you didn't and how did you get a raise?" Light asked again

"I don't know I guess It's because I was working hard and a lot." Larry said

"I guess that's why beep beep huh? Light said pulling out his phone

"What was that?" Larry asked

"It's a text message from the team they are saying there is an error that an NPC killed the Necromancer king boss Maridon the one for the world-changing event." Light said

"Wait how?" Larry asked

"I have no clue but it's fine I'll reset it before open beta." Light said

"Oh ok then let's drink but you first because you do want to go home." Larry said

"Here we go." Light said as he downs the alcoholic shot
