Ch.1: Pilot.

God.

The man who was there since the dawn of time. A being so powerful and wise that no man dares to challenge. He works in mysterious ways and always has a plan. Or that's what they say atleast.

"Reincarnation, lad. And with it, you'll get a cheat."

Upon hearing God's 'wisdom', Rider couldn't help but show a small smile. He's heard about his situation in things like japanese manga. The reason for his smile was because they all got new lives, each filled with women, money and power. But most importantly, they were all respected.

"I figured that this is the least I could do since I accidentally killed you.." The benevolent God awkwardly laughed while rubbing the back of his head. 'He's...right..?'

Rider remembered that just before meeting God, he had managed to get struck by lightning in broad daylight, no thunderstorms or any rain in sight.

'The feeling of death..' He didn't die instanly from the bolt of lighting, so he had experienced the building pain and agony over his entire body. "What do you say? If you accept, you can start a new life. If you decline, heaven awaits. Your decision.."

Rider had continued to look at the white, transparent floor. He had made a face like he was thinking when in reality, he had already made up his mind. "I-I'll do it.." Though he was a normal person, he was just that.

Normal.

He thought of this as a chance to change himself. He was a pushover all his life, never being able to say no to anyone and so it made his life worse, day by day.

Working overtime for 'friends' which only caused him immense stress and grey hairs. By the age of 25, he had already looked well over 40.

"I'll take up your offer, and reincarnate. Thank you...for giving me such an opportunity, God.." He showed his gratitude by bowing and praying. "Great. Glad that your willing to change.." God had smiled as he pointed at nothingness, causing a portal to appear.

"In this life, be who you want to be, Rider. Make as many mistakes as you need, don't be a follower and always stick with your gut. Doing these...will show you what lifes truly about.." Pulling himself off the ground, Rider had stood up with apparent tears in the corner of his eyes.

"I-I have one last request, God~.." He barely managed to say as Gods words had made his heart race. He's never been told to do what he wants to do. This was a new feeling that made his heart warm. "Hm? What is it?" God said with curiosity.

"O-Olivia... Let her live...a peaceful life.." Olivia was the girl he loved most in the world. She was his girlfriend and the person who always stuck with him since day one. That being said however, she doesn't quite love him back.

She stays with him out of pity and because of his money. "Ah, Olivia, huh? I'll see what I can do, okay?" God winked then urged him to go on. "T-Thank you..." And like that, he felt like nothing was holding him back.

"In this world, Rider, make sure all the women flock to you, alright? Don't follow after them.." God didn't want a repeat of what had happened in the garden between Adam and Eve. "S-Sure.." His cheeks turned red from embarrassment as he shook his head.

'I wonder...were I'll be going however. I-I don't wanna bother God anymore, so I guess I'll have to find out myself..' He took a step through the portal while looking back at God for one last time.

'Thanks for...striking me with lightning, I guess? Because of you, I'll be able to have a do over. You really do work...in mysterious ways..'

His other leg had passed through and like that, he disappeared. The portal had then closed with God sighing and getting up. 'Time to go fix the lightning generator machine,..again..'
