Chapter 11 - Joining the DSC

It's been a year since we arrive at the misty mountain, Tanjiro is still training while I already finish mine. Urokodaki gave me a mask, he said it's a mask of disaster prevention. I've learned many techniques Urokodaki taught us and of course, I learned it easier because of the genius mind I have... Well, the geniuses I killed.

For the past year, I also unlock my so called Blood demon art and it consist of creating demons in masses by spreading my blood mist around. Also, I can explode or heal the target using my blood. I already had twenty demon slaves at my arsenal and ordering them to hunt humans discreetly.

Also, I created my own Breathing Style that let's me utilize my Blood Demon Art in Swords. It currently has 6 Form.

First Form - Ruling Blood Mist, Creates a mist with a continuous attack or by the use of the BDA.

Second Form - Blood Mist Disruption, When the First form is finish. The user must follow up by attacking the blind spot of the enemy.

Third Form - Flowing Blood Mist, Creates an after images by moving fast through the mist. Making the enemy confuse.

Fourth Form - Silent Mist, Attacking by jumping high and slash horizontally.

Fifth Form - Dividing Dance of Blood Mist, Dancing with the Mist created by the First Form and attack in a continuous fluid motion.

Sixth Form - Stealth Blitz, Calm but deadly one shot technique. Muster all the strength in the lower body and arms and attacks in a horizontal or vertical. Must be silent when dashing.

Looking at sun, I smiled and let it hit me. Urokodaki already knows that I am immune to the sun, making him shock by that as all the past generation that past unto him are that demons can't live under the sun or they will die.

Anyway, I see Tanjiro walking towards us with his Nichirin blade with him. Urokodaki also gave him a mask which Tanjiro accepted.

"Tanjiro, Akuma. I'm proud that you two finally finish the training I gave you. Especially you, Akuma. You created your own type of Breathing that compliments with your BDA. I hope that they will let you join the DSC and won't kill you, because of being a demon. I know that you also killed humans before but it's for your survival and I respect that but please keep it minimize. We don't want the Human population extinct and also, Tanjiro. Your Sister is still sleeping and it seems she won't wake up soon. I'll take care of her for the time being" Ukorodaki said while Tanjiro Nodded.

"Now go towards the Final Selection at Fujikasaneyama (or in english, Vine Ambush Mountain) and come back alive for me kids" Ukorodaki said while looking at us. Being called a kid is weird when you are an adult but I let it slide this time. Also, I use my Flesh Manipulation by becoming a teenager around 16 years old. My human form is the same except younger and had fangs, while my eyes become the same cat eyes, That demon has.

Soon, Me and Tanjiro run towards the Mountain were the Final Selection will be held. I also have my Nichirin sword with me in my right waist and my Flesh Sword in my left waist. The color of my Flesh blade is black red with veins pulsing around the hilt to the tip of my blade( Think of as Zenitsu blade but black red and the lightning mark is the veins).

Arriving, we see many people standing around and two girls announcing.

" Greetings Everyone, Thank you for participating the final selection tonight. There are many demons held captives by the demon slayer corps that they can't escape because there's full of wisteria flower that repels demon."

" However, From here on out. There's no more wisteria, only demons. If you can survive here for seven days, you pass the test. Now, let the Final Selection Begin" The two girls said as we walk towards the gate on their back.

" Wait for a minute, Red hair." Said one of the girls and we stop. Tanjiro looked at me and I nodded at him to indicate that he can continue to walk forward. Which he reluctantly agreed and walk.

" What is it?" I asked towards the girl who asked me. She has a white hair, violet eyes that seems to be a void and has a white dot in the center.

"You are the demon Urokodaki told us about? Akuma right?" She asked while having that creepy smile.

" Yes, So you know about Urokodaki? What do you want from me" I said towards the two.

"Nothing, when you finish this Final selection. Please come with us towards the HQ as Ubayashiki sama wants to meet you" She said and walked away.

I nodded and walk towards the gate while sensing any kinds of demon or humans I find. Walking towards the demon I sense, I looked at it's appearance. He has a razor like teeth, two small horns protruding at his head, while a mouth in his stomach.

Seeing this disgusting stomach, I immediately kill him with my Breath of the Blood Mist, Sixth Form, Stealth Blitz. Killing it in a single slash. I walk around, trying to find Tanjiro while killing the demons and humans alike. Eating and absorbing the memories and Techniques of those demons.

Walking and finding Tanjiro is super easy, I can smell 30 km and my eyes can see a 10x before, which means I can see 100km and my hearing can hear even the ants movements and heartbeats for 2km. That's how easy I can find Tanjiro but I didn't immediately go to him. Instead, I run and killing demons left and right. I also bump with someone, this yellow hair guy who kepts running around and passes out. When he pass out, he became stronger than his conscious self. I killed him since he attack me too and eating his body.

While this might bring me unwanted attention, I didn't care anymore as I am stronger than this world can give me. I also need to find the guy who turn me into a demon and thank him by absorbing him.

Dashing towards Tanjiro, I see him getting into rage mode. Attacking the demon that has multiple hands. With a flash, I arrive with a sweep motion. Killing the demon and before he can disappear, I eat him.

" *panting*, Thank you. Akuma san" He said while breathing heavily, he use his TCB to heal himself while I ate a hand.

"No worries, I should go now and see if I can finish the task of killing all the demons around this mountain. See ya later, Tanjiro" I said and walked towards a guy 1 km away from us. This guy has a scar in his right cheek and a black hair. His name is Genya and since he has that kind of look, it annoyed me and kill him.

Looking at my status, it grows more and I have many more techniques now.

Just like that, I think I am closer to that Demon and with enough time, I can kill him. Also, I visited my family time to time you know, I'm a responsible father.

Seven days has passed since then. All the demons have been killed and only 3 participant survive, including me and Tanjiro. The one who survive is a girl name Kanao Tsuyuri and it seems that I might be in big trouble this time but who cares. All Hashiras came in the Final Selection when they heard about the three surviving participants are the only remaining ones and because there's also a demon participating the Final Selection, they thought I am the one who did all of these which is true. But, I killed demons more than the humans though. It's a fair trade.

" Akuma, you are suspicious of killing the most participants and are under arrest for your crimes you committed" Kyojuro Rengoku said, angered by the fact that someone committed a crime of killing a fellow members.

"Heh, Tanjiro. Go back and also tell Nezuko that I will be going now. Thank you for being with me and tolerating my actions of eating, even though it's harder for you to accept. Also, go back to your home in ten days, I will see you there. Bring Nezuko with you" I said while, removing my limiters to 20% making me stronger.

Upon seeing the burst of power around my body, makes the Hashiras ready to fight even though it's unlikely they can defeat me. My eyes changes into my Eiegan(Otsutsuki God's eyes), teleporting the Hashiras away from the Mountain.

"So, how do you like this game to play out. I can turn you into a demons or kill you and revive you again. Your choices." I said with a smirk as I immediately punch the face of the stone Hashira, making him shot towards the trees, breaking it. Seeing the stone Hashira flying in a flash makes them regret their choices of fighting a monster, in a daylight at that. A demon who can survive and walk around as if he is a normal human is strong. Even the Progenitor of Demons can't walk under the sun.

Attacking the Love Hashira, I make my hands into blades(think of prototype) and slash it towards her. Making a cutting motion, but the Snake Hashira intervene by using his body which got cut in half as my cut also passed through him, still cutting the Love Hashira in half. Seeing that, three of their companions are dead or injured makes them attack together in rage. The sound Hashira use his Breathing Style, Fourth Form: Constant Resounding Slashes, while the Water Hashira uses his Second Form: Water Wheel.

As for the Flame Hashira, he uses Ninth Form: Rengoku. While this is happening, I was just standing there looking at how beautiful the sword techniques was. While the insect Hashira sneaked at my back and uses Dance of the Bee Sting: True Flutter, dashing towards my back and thrusting it. The Mist Hashira followed up by using his Seventh Form: Obscuring Clouds. Lastly, the Wind Hashira uses the First Form: Dust Whirlwind Cutter in succession.

Seeing the attacks coming at me, I let them hit me and to see how much damage they can give. A loud sound resounded around me and a smoke blocks their vision but as soon as the dust was removed, they see me unharmed and stretching my limbs.

"Now, since I let you hit me. I'll attack next" I said as I use my BDA, Blood Mist Creation and my Blood Mist Breathing Style, First Form: Ruling Blood Mist.

A black red mist immediately assaulted their vision making them panic a little but didn't let it linger in their mind any longer.

With a flash, I use my Fifth Form: Dividing Dance of the Blood Mist with Blood Mist Explosion, one of my BDA abilities. Killing them.

"Wa..ke up!"

"Hey, Wake up! It's just an illusion I put you through if you try to fight me, Kagaya Ubuyashiki" I said while laughing hard inside my mind, I see Ubuyashiki being confuse and see my Rotating Eiegan.

"I see... So, this is what will happen if I tried to order to kill you, huh? I'm sorry and Thank you for saving the kids at the Final Selection, Akuma Otsutsuki" He said while I nodded.

"I should go now, Tanjiro is waiting for me" I said and in a blink of an eye, I am standing behind the injured Tanjiro. I help him by using my Healing Blood Mist.

"Thank you, Akuma san" Tanjiro gratefully said and stretch his limbs and feel it not hurting anymore.

We run fast towards the Misty Mountain and arrive at night to see Nezuko, waiting for us at the door with Urokodaki.

Waving at them, We run faster and Tanjiro immediately hug Nezuko from worry.
