Hunting, grinding and the shop

I started wiggling my swimming appendages. It was rather tiring I must say. Kind of hard to switch from legs to see-through microscopic bio-sticks. Still, I managed to work it all out.

After a few minutes of wiggling though the water and pretending not to see how bad my technique was, I stumbled upon a moving reddish spot. It was smaller than what I perceived myself to be and slowly moving towards me. Whatever, let's get this over with. I readied my last pair of appendages, which was to say my mandibles for the upcoming encounter. The spot creeped closer and closer. I could now make out that it looked extremely similar to myself. It was probably one of my brethren, though I highly doubted that would stop the incoming cannibalism.

PUSH and SNAP!!!

I jerked forward and caught it before it could catch me. One of my mandibles got stopped slightly but the other continued. I guess I found its eye. The guy suddenly started thrashing around madly, well, as much a living piece of dust can anyway. I still didn't let go.

Neat. Now it's time to finally identify my now limp and slowly disintegrating prey. I turned my eye towards the thing.

Well, that was underwhelming. I'll need to level it up otherwise I just spent a point for no reason. Anyway, I slowly started taking the thing apart and eating the pieces. Unsurprisingly there was no taste. It took me like 4 minutes just to finish the goddamn thing.

Great! I wiggled my appendages in glee. It was time to go on a killing spree. After all, the sooner I evolve the sooner can I get to eat something tasty, not to mention improve my sight.

And so I began the purge of my part of the ocean.
