Chapter 2.3(Edited)

Yuuta wasn't used to the limited movement that the mannequin body has; though he was having a hard time adjusting to his new body, he was set on helping the injured little girl. He went to the room where he found the mannequin and he grabbed a bucket and some rags. In front of the entrance he was a bit hesitant to open it because he might get sent flying again, as he open the doors he was ok and nothing happened; The store was in the middle of a lush and green forest with towering trees at every glance with little light passing through the leaves of said trees. After wandering a couple of minutes around the store he found a lake nearby and he filled the bucket with water, and headed back.

Yuuta didn't have any reason to save the girl yet he feels obliged too help her. Slowly he cleaned and tends to the girls bruises. Though he lived like a failure in his past life before his life began spiraling downwards; Yuuta used to take care of his younger siblings back in the countryside, maybe the sight of the injured girl triggered his elderly brother side in him.

After he finished he brought the bucket outside to empty it out; as soon as he went back inside the girl was gone, he panicked and searched the whole store "Where the hell did she go?!" he said, as he was about to give up and he sat at the counter and heard a bag of chips open; he looked below the counter and saw the girl eating the chips under the counter. He made a bottled water using his mana and gave it to the girl; the girl was hesitant to take it but she quickly snatched it from Yuuta's wooden hand.

She was struggling opening it; so Yuuta put his hand forward and the girl gave it back and he opened it for her. After sometime while Yuuta was moping the floor the girl was observing him, waved his hand and she quickly hid behind the counter and shouted "Monster!". "Ouch, I was trying to be nice." he said to himself as he continues moping, the girl walking was slowly and quietly to the entrance and as soon as she touched the door she was sent flying. Yuuta noticed and tried to catch her but the force was too strong and he was hit by the momentum of the girl. She hit her head on Yuuta's wooden body. He looked at the grl and saw blood coming from her head before he could grab her she looked at him and said "Papa?". He unconsciously tilted his head and was confused.

"Papa!" she shouted and hugged Yuuta tightly, "What the hell?" he said to himself and questioning to what was happening...
