Morning after Hunt

As long as the night was Vorbuk did not make it back til the sunrise. All the others were already awake and had confused looks on their faces as they saw him walking back towards them. He soaked from head to toe because he had washed himself off in a stream to remove the blood from his fur so they would not see he had been out hunting goblins.

"Well look at that! He did return after all..." Daryl said as he glanced at the wolf walking towards them. From his own past experience with the wolf he had thought for a moment that Vorbuk was just going to abandon them and run off on his own like he had done to Daryl in the past.

"Where have you been? Usually I'm the one who always has to wake you up!" Leo sighed with relief at the sight of the wolf returning. He was so nervous the wolf had decided to abandon him that he hadn't even realized the wolf was soaked. His mind was simply happy that the wolf had not left him that he didn't care about anything else at the moment.

"I just wanted to explore the area." The wolf replied to Leo as he walked over to the cart and hopped on it to lay down.

Leo face planted himself with his hand as he felt very complicated at the moment due to the lack of care the wolf expressed. The sight of the wolf curling up to sleep was the only thing he could see at the moment as he pondered over his own thoughts. There was a great number of reasons he enjoyed having the wolf around and it wasn't just because the wolf was a strong fighter that could help protect him from some things that he couldn't handle himself. The thought of losing the wolf as a companion was something he simply had no desire to see and waking up to find the wolf gone had made his heart drop. He did not want to experience that feeling again.

It was like having a family member simply walk out and leave someone abandoned. The wolf had grown on him over time as though they were family in a way. If it wasn't for the fact that he could communicate with the wolf verbally like any other person around him then it would probably be more simple like having a pet or something, but it was not like that for him. They had experienced countless things together and had many conversations. It was a bond stronger then that of a pet. He knew the wolf might not feel like they were family because the wolf was more complex, but prince Leo did.

"It was just unexpected..." Leo sighed as he climbed on the cart and sat next to Vorbuk. He had the sudden urge to pet the wolf, but refrained from it because he knew the wolf did not tolerate such actions.

"Don't act like a girl that's been betrayed by a man!" Daryl laughed at the crown prince as he heard the prince complaining about the wolf behind him. As usual he was at the reins of the cart because nobody else would drive. Even if someone else knew how to drive he felt like they would still push the duty off to him regardless.

"I will kicked you right off the cart!" Leo hissed at Daryl while everyone else around started laughing.

"You're both messed up in the head." Zoe rolled her eyes at them both.

After an awkward start to their morning they all rode off to head to the next town in Dradel. Since they had to avoid the one they had first visited due to the trouble that Bredret had caused with his fight the previous day it caused them to have to detour around the town. Daryl knew if they drove right through it would simply cause the people to freak out in fear because of him being with them.

Since Daryl was an adventurer for most of his life he knew how to travel among all twelve kingdoms without a problem. It was part of his job to get around easy to complete various jobs and tasks that guilds would give him. Over the years his name had become well known among the twelve kingdoms as a top adventurer to use for complicated jobs. Everyone knew that hiring Daryl always meant they could never ask for an unclean job, though. He was a true warrior to the core when it came to avoiding dirty tasks.

It took them several hours to go around the town and reach the next target of their destination. The town was bright green from the magicians that lived among the town. At a glance one could tell that the magician in the town loved gardening because magic had been used to grow vast flowers everywhere. The place was covered in so many types of flowers that it almost seemed like the ground itself was growing a rainbow.

Everyone could hear Zoe gasping in awe as her and Celeste were leaning on the edge of the cart to gaze at the scene before them. The flowers stretched out as far as the eye could see into the distance as cherry blossom trees rained petals through the air around the town. Due to the magician's care and magic the cherry trees rained petals all year round. It was one thing that the people of the town loved to see. It made the town one of the biggest tourist attractions of the kingdom of Dradel.

The sweet scents of the flowers wafted through the air and filled all their lungs with a sweet scent that one could feel as though they could taste on their tongue. Even the men were surprised by the sight in front of them as they took it all in.

Vorbuk was standing up as his body was aching with excitement. As a wolf the smells in the air were driving his insides crazy. He felt like he wanted to roll around the flowers and take in every scent around him. There was a glint in his eyes that flashed with longing for the fresh sweet aura in the air.

"The woman who uses magic to care for this place as been taking care of things for many years now. This is the number one most populated place in Dradel. Even though it's only a town and not a city people still come and go so much that the place is never dull and empty. People clearly cant stay here permanently due to the flood would ruin the aura of the place, but many come for the fact that the aura and scent of the place is so soothing it's considered therapeutic to those who come." Daryl blurted out his knowledge of the town. Even though he had been to the town many times in the past the sight was still one that would shock him every time he came.
