Flora

Among the flowers outside of the town a tall and slender woman stood in her long flowing light pink dress. She had a head band made of flowers in her hair as she gracefully danced around the flowers. The aura spreading out to the ground and flowers causing them to all bloom out beautifully where ever she moved to. Her long brown hair danced in the wind and movements she made as her gold eyes were shining bright with pride at the beauty around her.

"Flora, a strange beast has just entered the town with a group of tourists." A voice called out to her from the distance as a man came darting towards her.

She could see the man pause in the distance as he watched her work her magic with the nature around the area. There was a soft and beautiful hum coming from her lungs as she raised her hands up and the air seemed to shimmer with bright colors in the air around her. It almost seemed like the air itself was expressing it's appreciation of her.

"Oh?" She realized the man was watching her and she looked at him with a kindness in her eyes that could easily make any man drop to their knees for her hand if they didn't know her.

"From what I could gather they are here to see the magician of the town it sounded like, but I do not know why they are looking for you, ma'am." He bowed to her respectfully to express his regret in not knowing the reason behind the strangers coming to look for her.

"Very well, I shall go and see them!" She smiled brightly and lowered herself down to gently pluck a flower. As she stood up she slowly pulled the purple violet to her face and carefully smelt it for a moment.

"Ma'am?" The man watched her actions carefully. A sudden urge to engrave the sight before him into his mind came over him.

"Violets are such an amazing flower. Do you know the meaning behind the violet?" She asked the man without glancing at him while she studied the flower in her hand.

"Sorry, ma'am, I do not know anything about flowers." His voice was solemn as he regretted his lack of knowledge again for the second time since arriving to report to Flora.

"Some believe the violet symbolizes pure innocence. I believe the flowers are trying to speak to me that there is someone among the group that is filled with a pure innocence in his soul."

"An innocent soul?" The man was confused at Flora's words.

"Mhm." She did not clarify her words to the man that was watching her.

Flora felt no reason to justify her meanings to the man. He was only one of many who had worked for her over her lifetime and he held no reason to need to know what was on her mind. In fact when the creature he spoke of entered the town she had already felt his presence closing in on her domain. She did not need to be reported to at all about them. She felt respect for the young man though and accepted his presence.

To the villagers or lived in the town that she took care of all these years she was a great magician who simply took care of them and made their world seem a lot brighter and beautiful. None of them knew who she truly was, though. She had lived for thousands of years and had only in what seemed like a short amount of time to consider recent to her moved to this town in Dradel to live as if she was a normal average magician who just had a great ability for nature.

The truth behind Flora, however, was that she was actually something much more. She was a goddess. As a goddess she naturally had no interest in getting involved with the mortals, but the presence that she could sense in the distance was something that held her attention. She was curious who's soul was so clean and pure that it could even effect the nature of the flowers blooming among her domain.

Not a hint of interest in what they wanted was in her mind, she simply wanted to end her curious thought by finding out who was among the group with such a powerful soul. She was a goddess, but something else was out there that could effect her magic. It was simply something she could not comprehend. The realm had blessed her with the control over the nature around her in goddess form, but now the realm had something that would interrupt her ability. The urge to laugh at the mockery she felt from the thought came over her and she found herself giggling awkwardly in front of the man that had come to report to her about the strangers.

"Are you alright?" He asked her.

"I am fine. You can head on back now. I will go visit the tourists. I am curious about something anyways." She looked up to the sky as a sudden rainbow burst across the sky above the town.

The ark of a rainbow was something that she loved to gaze at and would often place them above the town to simply enjoy the sight. The people among the town did not know that she did it for self satisfaction as a goddess, but she did not mind their ignorance to her power. It was quite the opposite. She loved the fact that the mortals around her had no idea how powerfully she really was and just assumed she was a magician. It meant more years she could live in peace without the other gods hounding her for help every time she turned around.

With the god Chynir causing problems in the mortal realm behind the scenes she was well aware that they were all busy trying to get him to stop his reign of terror in the realm of Validore. The thought of them locating her hand asking her to get involved was something she did not want to happen. She had no interest in Chynir or the war among the kingdoms being affected by him. As long as her little town was safe she was fine with the rest of the realm collapsing to flames. Peace and relaxation was the only thing she craved. Like most of the gods she was one that held no interest in mortal affairs no matter who died or how as long as it had no affect on her.

As she thought about how much she's been enjoying her life here in a town of Dradel kingdom she slowly turned to walk off and find the aura that as affecting her own abilities.
