2 Chapter 2: Isn’t this too OP?!
Luluka was a vampire.
but unlike other vampires, she lived in Dropia, the human continent.
No, not just her, but her entire lineage had been living on a human continent for a long time. Only members of her family knew about this, and her father told her to keep this a top secret.
The reason for that was very simple. Humans and vampires, or rather, humans and all the demonic races didn't get along with each other.
And vampires were part of such demonic races that originated from the demon continent. If any human found out about her race and words got out, her entire family would be hunted down!
This was as far as Luluka knew from the previous owner's memories. As to how and why her family lineage resided in the human continent for such a long time? She didn't know.
From her memories, she once tried to ask her father, but he refused to answer, saying that it was yet time for her to know.
Luluka decided to put that in the back of her mind for now, as she now had something more important to do. And that was—

Luluka muttered and a blue translucent window popped up in front of her.

Looking at her status, she was deep in thought.
'Hmm… As expected, I was still too weak, huh?'
Even though she thought that, her stats were actually pretty good compared to normal humans. Normal human's stats were usually around F and only those who trained would have E or D.
If your stats were higher than that, then you would be considered powerful in the human continent.
Luluka continued reading until she found something strange.
'Huh? Why does Blood Sucking skill have a star symbol behind it? From what I remember, it hasn't been here before...'
'Wait… My race used to be Vampire. Since when has the Variant been there?'
'And m-my State is good? From this body's memories, it should be cursed, right?'
That's right, Luluka was born with a curse that ate away her life span. That's why she didn't interact with other people much and only stayed at home being a sickly little princess…
Other people thought that it was a severe illness. Only her and her father knew the truth about the curse.
Her father tried to find a way to cure the curse every way he could, but to no avail. The curse got worse and worse each year.
It was until she turned 14 that she went into a long slumber and wouldn't wake up since. Arthur had an idea as to what happened after that.
Luluka must have died after two years of sleep, and Arthur got transmigrated into her body after that.
Such a tragic story… poor girl…
Arthur felt like hugging Luluka if they met, but that would be impossible since he was now Luluka herself. So she could only hug herself…
Getting back to her stats, Luluka was confused as to why her cursed state was now gone.
'My Cursed Vampire Title is still here though..'
She tried to figure out what could have happened and then realized something! Could it be?
'Is the curse linked to Luluka's soul or something? And now that her soul was gone, the curse was also gone as well?'
Luluka felt like that would most likely be the case and began looking at the other things. She concentrated on the things that hadn't been on her status before and sure enough, new blue translucent windows popped up.
Vampire: The infamous blood sucking race. The king of the night. They have a very charming appearance that could seduce anyone. Sunlight was their weakness.
(Variant): Due to receiving a goddess's blessing, the race improved into a better one. Vampire(Variant) can walk under the sunlight and wouldn't be affected by it.
Luluka's eyes widened upon reading the description. Goddess's blessing? So she could now walk under the sunlight? This was so much better!
In the past, she had to wear the special pendant that her father gave her in order to go outside during the day. This pendant had the ability to protect her from sunlight and falsified her status when being inspected.
But now, that wasn't necessary anymore. She was a daywalker vampire now!
Now in a very good mood, she concentrated on her skill next.
Blood Sucking☆: A signature skill of a vampire. Allow the user to gain nutrients from sucking the target's blood. Can kill the target upon excessive use.
(Variant): Allow the user to gain the target's skills by consuming their blood.
Once Luluka finished reading the skill's information, she was astonished!
'This is fucking awesome! So I could gain a new skill just by consuming others's blood? Isn't that fucking OP?!'
Luluka got excited upon realizing the potential this skill has! She now understood why there was a star symbol behind the skill's name.
It must be because of the goddess's blessing again. Luluka had the sudden urge to meet this goddess and gave her a big hug!
'Thank you so much, O great Goddess! I'll remember your generosity for the rest of my life!'
Luluka was now pumped up and felt the urge to try her skill out. But—there was a problem…
'Who should I try it on?'
Her maid flashed across her mind. Would Ruby and Vivian mind if she sucked their blood…?
'No no no, what am I thinking?!'
Luluka shook her head and discarded the idea. From this body's memories, Luluka and her two maids were very close to each other, especially with Ruby.
Their age differences weren't that far apart from each other, and their relationship was more like sisters. Luluka talked about everything with Ruby, everything aside from her top secret obviously, since her father had her made a promise.
Despite being so close with each other, Ruby was still a human. Would she hate her if she knew about her true race?
Because humans didn't get along well with the demonic races, they spread beliefs and taught humans to be prejudiced toward them.
Luluka was now in a dilemma…
Would she be able to trust her maid?
