13 Chapter 12: Laurel and Raziel

"O-Oh hey,I was lost,Im glad you found me"then I laugh awkwardly trying to hide my embarrassment.

His smile deepens,and his eyes were unexpectedly bright as the moonlight and the stars were shining in the middle of darkness.

I was stunned too,because in this time, I actually thought that he was more beautiful than the moon and stars.

"Indeed...Im also glad I found you"He whispered the last part, barely audible to hear and at the same time a strong wind blows

"huh?"

I didn't quite heard what he said, because of the strong wind

"nothing"then he smiled,so I complained in my mind,and muttered some words.

He glanced at Lucas and Nazaren who was far ahead of us for a seconds before turning back his gaze to me

once again,I've become embarrassed,will he think Im a vulgar person?



"Should we go?"he asked and I hurriedly nod my head in agreement

We continued to walk and this time he finally take the initiative to talk.

We talk lots and lots of things,I also realize that he was far beyond my imagination.

Maybe because I was accustom to the novel's description towards him that I unconsciously feared and treat him like it's character on it that I forgot that he haven't encountered those miserable thing.(oh dear)

So I decided to treat him a little better,I will just take this as a start of our friendship.

" You can call me Laurel if you want"I happily suggested,since only few people who are close to me call me on my second name.

He stopped walking so I stop too.I became a little nervous and confused, He doesn't want to be my friend?I feel that we were a little closer so I suggested that, am I imagining things?

"Laurel..." He muttered softly and my face suddenly became hot.It hits different when he was the one saying it,my heart suddenly starts jumping wildly.

I clenched my fist and tried to calm my self

"You call me by my second name too"he added

I nod my head and breath heavily

" R-Raziel! "

'Oh sheez'

I felt my face burning...I stammered and exclaimed his name, so embarrassing!

Phew,why am I so nervous today?I felt inexplicably shame, maybe because Im hungry?

Oh maybe it is,well I didn't eat at home... Oh scratch that, They didn't let me eat! So the corset on my gown will fit in!

After awhile...

"You know you're not bad at all"I said as I let out a toothy grin

he stared at my face dazely, before he chuckled softly

"I see..."

Third Person View:

He stared at the girl's back, his dark eyes were unable to withdraw for a long time.

He looks at her actions, as if he wants to remember and memorize every datail ,every part of her.

In school he would always find himself trailing behind her.He can't stop looking,he would always found himself distracted.

He never feel this before, even in his past life he never loved anyone, He knew he was twisted ,he knew he didn't deserve to be loved.

But he can't help it,he wants her to only look at him,he wants to be the only person who can see her smile.

He wants her to only depend on him,he was a selfish person and he would do all he can so she can only focus on him.

"Jincy...Laurel"he whispered as if it was a spell that automatically escaped from his lips

The banquet continued,when the ball starts,Calvix oh I mean Raziel unexpectedly invited me to dance.

This time I felt difference from the first time we dance...This time it is more comfortable and casual.

I sat on my seat and felt cold...I felt several gazes on me.I suddenly wanna cry, why on earth are you looking at me!

I felt their gaze was different and I feel afraid to look back.So I reverted my attention to the foods in front.

Oh I almost forgot! I came here for food! ,I stand up and elegantly strode at the middle table where there are tons of different types of food.

One word I can say,heaven!...It's so delicious,its so satisfying!

The imperial foods were surely different from the others!

" It's so delicious?"

I automatically answered

"Yes!"

"Oh, you try that one"and saw the hand pointed at a little pudding on my side.

I scoop a little and gosh! It was truly delicious...but wait, I feel there is something wrong...

And I realized something, I quickly look at the person I am talking with.

My eyes almost bulge out,I thank God that I didn't spit the food on his pretty face.

I felt my vision was pretty wrong,cause at this time I thought that the person was literally sparkling.

His dark hair looks so soft and shiny, his eyes were deep and cold.

Upon taking a closer look at this person,I can say I can die now.. :)

Okay jokes aside.This person is no other than the villain! Dion Sebastian Frost!
