1 We Have to Accept

Holding onto the past hurts people

In space.

A man, who seems to be in his 50s, is running from a castle, he has a bamboo hat, some form of kimono with armor, and has a cape on. The castle has a really big door and has some golden looks. The man reaches an edge and flies off into the skies, he looks like a lightning blue aura. He got out of the city, but it looks as big as a universe. After passing through some other locations that looks as big as that city, he goes into a sphere that also looks like a universe.

To Brayo (Brayo is the capital of Jazil. It's a continent that is a combination of Brazil and Japan)

Markos is at a restaurant with his friends, they just finished watching Avengers Endgame and now they finished eating dinner together.

"So guys, what did you all think of Endgame?" Markos ask.

"I thought it was amazing." Sofia responded.

"There needed to be more action scenes." Jin responds.

"Black Widow, Iron Man and Captain America though..." says Kaori.

"Yeah, that was sad. I cried for Iron Man." says Akira.

"I thought it was meh." Chris responds. Akira then looks at Chris with a 'really' expression and Chris has the same expression.

"You always say that." says Akira.

"So?" Chris wonders.

"So what?" Akira responds.

"Okay, can we just not try to start a war right here." says Markos with a pretty goofy face.

"Sure thing." Akira agrees.

"Whatever." says Chris and just crosses her arms. The waitress arrived with their check, as always everyone pays their half, when it was time for Akira to pay her half, she only has like 100 rien.

"Um... Miss?" the waitress waits for Akira.

"Ah right..." Akira was going to give her only amount left. Akira is very destroyed on the inside. The waitress then leaves.

"Akira?" Sofia asks for Akira. Markos snaps his fingers in front of her face, to bring Akira back to reality.

"Sorry." Akira then gives a smile. "Markos, what time can you go there?"

"The usual time as you know." Markos replies.

"Thanks."

"Fun night as always." says Sofia.

"Yeah... not until I get home..." Chris responds coldly.

"You can say that again." Jin responds.

"Don't forget we still have our exam grades tomorrow." says Kaori, resulting in Sofia pouting.

"Yeah, But let's enjoy the time we have." Sofia responds. Markos chuckles at Sofia's pouting. Sofia blushes "w... what is it?!" Sofia asks scared.

"Nothing." Markos responds. Chris looks at her phone and notices a text.

"Anyway, I have to go right away, see you all at school tomorrow." says Chris and leaves.

"Take care." says Markos.

"Bye." says Sofia.

"See ya." says Akira and Jin. Kaori just waves goodbye. After awhile, Kaori and Akira booked an uber to their respective homes and Jin walks to his home, only leaving Markos and Sofia at the restaurant. Markos and Sofia are outside.

"Hey Sofia, do you want me to walk you home?" Markos asks, causing Sofia to blush hard, but she is extremely happy.

"S... Su... Sure thing." Sofia responds. They go to a bus stop and wait for a bus to arrive. After awhile, the bus arrives and both of them enter. The bus is on the move.

"Well, looks like it'll take awhile." says Markos.

"Sure will... Another day alone." Sofia states.

"Are you holding up well?" Markos asks concerned.

"Somewhat... it's not really that easy." Markos brings her to a hug.

"I know what it's like."

"You still couldn't overcome it?"

"Not really... it was all my fault!" Markos said that last sentence in a way that he wanted to yell but considering the location he couldn't, even then, it still has some form of pain to it, a really painful one at that.

"I'll help you when you need me. That's what friends are for. Right?" Markos smiles to what Sofia said.

"You're right." After awhile

They then reach Sofia's home "Welcome home."

"Thanks." Sofia responds with a little giggle "See you tomorrow."

"See ya." Markos walks away and Sofia walks inside her home. Markos then begins to walk away, then 3 people pass by him, throwing rocks at some houses. Markos heard it all, he went to the skateboarders as they were about to throw rocks at Sofia's house. Markos then punches one of them off guard to the ground.

"Hey you punk! What the fuck?! You shit!" says one of the skateboarders about to punch Markos, however Markos stops it and knocks him down. The final man is just scarred of Markos.

"Hey, what are you three doing?" Markos asks casually.

"Um... we were throwing rocks..." the final man replies scarred, not wanting to get punched.

"That's right! Now how about you three suffer what everyone else suffered!" Markos picks up a rock and is about to throw at them. The 3 men then pick up their skateboards and runs away, as Markos throws rocks at them, sometimes Markos even hits them "Welp, they left." Markos smiles, protecting the peace around everyone, especially Sofia's. Markos walks to his home.

Markos as narrator: So you might be wondering, who am I, who were those people, what is this place? My name is Markos Son Silva and that was my group of friends. My dad may be away for this week, as he always does for some reason, but I do have my little sister and my mom.

Markos reaches his house and enters it.

"I'm home!" says Markos as he comes in.

"Big brother!" an 11 year old girl is running to Markos and gives him a giant hug.

"Hey sis." Markos hugs back.

"Welcome back Markos." says Markos' mom.

"Thanks. I'll be upstairs." Markos walks upstairs to his room as his sister complains that she wants to play "Sorry sis, but it's very late and I have to go to school. Tell you what, I'll see if I can tomorrow." His sister then hugs him and has a big smile on her face. Markos hugs back then heads to his room.

"Oh and Markos, after tomorrow, I will be going to compose the soundtrack for a movie." says Markos' mom.

"I understand mom. When can you be home?" Markos asks.

"The usual." Markos' mom responds.

"I see." Markos then goes upstairs to his room.

Next day at school

Sofia, Akira, Chris and Kaori are walking to their classroom, Markos and Jin aren't present with them.

"Hey, did anyone see Markos?" Sofia asks.

"Same thing with Jin." Chris also wonders.

"I don't know." Akira responds. Everyone now hears grunts and punching noises at a corner. As everyone rushed over to see what the commotion was about the noticed two of the school bully's being beaten up by Markos and Jin. Markos just punches one of the bullies and Jin beats them with a wooden sword.

"Do better next time." says Markos.

"Funny coming from you." Jin responds to Markos, as he and Jin pick up their backpacks and walks to their friends "Good morning guys."

"What's sup?" says Markos.

"Hey." says Sofia. A student taps on Chris shoulder. Chris looks at the student.

"Hey Chris, would you like to go out on a date? I'll pay." the student asks. Chris has been asked out multiple times, and it always resulted in her having to pay and buy everything, this one just seems to want to date her for her title as a rich person.

"Sadly, I'm busy." Chris lies.

"Well, tell them to fuck off." the student then grabs Chris' arm.

"Hey! Let go!" says Chris.

"Let her go!" says Sofia. Akira, Markos and Kaori support Sofia as well.

"No! She's..." Jin punches the student in the face and he lets go of Chris' arm.

"Leave her alone." says Jin and the student leaves.

"Thanks guys." Chris thanks.

"Anytime." Jin responds and everyone else reassures Chris. They then get to class as Markos sits at the front right, Sofia front middle, Chris at the front left, Jin behind Markos and next to Kaori, and Akira is behind Luisa.

"Hey buddy!" it's Ashido, he is one of Markos' school friends.

"Hey Ashido." Markos responds.

"I'm still sorry for not making it to watch Avengers Endgame with you guys. My parents just got me into shit." says Ashido.

"It's cool." Jin responds

"Well, I bet you all enjoyed the movie." says Rodrigo, another one of Markos' school friends.

"But most impotently... Markos, did you get into bed with any chicks? Were they hot? Did you finally ask Sofia..." says Ahido trying to annoy Markos. Markos shuts up Ashido by kicking him as like a light push.

"Shut up!" says Markos "Even then, despite the fact we hang out a lot, doesn't mean we are in love", Sofia heard it and nods in response, though she does feel anxious. The teacher walks in.

"Good morning class." says the teacher.

"Good morning Ms. Ana." says a lot of the students. Some walk up to the teacher asking about their grades, if they did well, wanting to look at the grades of others. Everyone then sits down.

"So, your exam results are out. If anyone gets bellow 70%, they will have to attend the remedial exams next month." says the teacher as she hands out the exam sheets. After awhile, everyone got their exam sheets. Ashido and Rodrigo are having a victory dance as they are proud of their 71%. Markos just looks at his 90% and puts the sheet away. Jin got an 88% and has no reaction. Same with Sofia and her 95%. Akira just dances over her 99% and Chris got a 100%.

"Nice one Akira, as always." Chris compliments.

"Thanks." Akira responds with a smile.

"Wait what?! She got a 99 out of 100?!" One of the girls wonders "I thought she would get 15%!"

"Is that a problem?" Chris asks.

"No no no!" the girl responds. Kaori got a 100%, he is one of the top students like Chris.

"I mean what's wrong with studying?" Sofia asks with a troll tone to her expression and way of speech.

"Nothing!" the girl responds, but Sofia can tell that she got a low grade.

Time skip after school

Markos, Sofia, Chris, Akira, Kaori and Jin are walking back home in an alley way. They hear a portal opening behind them. Some Demon Pigs get out of the portal.

"What the hell?!" Markos says in surprise. One of the pigs attack Jin. Jin blocks but a shield appeared in front of him "Jin what did you do?"

"I don't know." Jin responds.

"Sofia!" Markos calls her out as a pig was about to attack her from behind. Sofia just by standing there made a shield of fire around her and she incinerated the pig to ashes by accident. Sofia wonders what she did as Markos is also shocked. Kaori got attacked by one of the pigs and barely flinched. Kaori then punched the pig to the air. Akira sees a pig about to attack Kaori, Akira then runs to the pig, however she failed to notice another one attacking her. Kaori grabbed both pigs by the neck and smashed them together.

"Thanks." Akira thanks and Kaori gives a thumbs up. Chris is about to be attacked, however she raised her hands and the pig got stabbed by sticky grass.

Markos in thought: How are they all doing this. Jin made a shield from thin air, Sofia incinerated that pig just by standing there and Chris made spike grass!

A pig was about to bite Markos, however out of nowhere, Markos was able to punch it, the speed was so fast that it's like the pig could barely react.

"Are you all okay?" Markos asks.

"Better question, what the hell was all of this?" Jin asks in curiosity.

"Let's just pretend this never happened." says Markos and everyone agrees. The old man in his 50s was on a building, about 10 km away from the whole fight to, to observe it.

"I see. So they don't know it yet." says the man to himself "However, they're thankfully safe with clearly very responsible teenagers." the old man looks up at the sky, like someone is talking to him "Yes, I understand what's at stake. Just wait, be patient."

Later at night

Markos is walking around at the alley. He got a text from one of his friends to meet at a specific point. Markos thought it was weird, because such a thing never happened to them, but why not, some variety is good once in awhile. He reached the spot and everyone else seems to be there.

"Hey guys. So some..." Jin smacked Markos' face with the wooden sword, not too hard though "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"

"YOU IDIOT! YOU TOLD ME TO COME HERE JUST FOR YOU TO BE LATE?! I BET YOU TEXTED EVERYONE ELSE AS WELL!" Jin begins to rant.

"Wait what?" Chris interrupts abruptly "I got the text from you Jin."

"Huh?" Jin questions.

"Wait what? I got the text from Markos and Akira, not from Jin." says Sofia, causing more confusion. Jin shows Markos the message, showing that Markos did text, however Markos doesn't have that message.

"So, someone must have been imposing as us." says Jin.

"Agreed." Markos responds.

"So what's going to happen next?" Sofia asks.

"Not sure, just need to be careful." Akira responds.

"Hang on. If someone imposed as all of us, why here though?" says Chris "Think about it, the imposter wants us to be here for a reason."

"Makes sense alright." says Markos. Suddenly, the clouds go dark like the deep end of a cave "ah crap, should have brought my rain coat." as flashing lights and crashing thunder appears in the clouds at one certain spot. Sofia and Chris fall down to their knees.

"Sofia!" Markos helps her stand up, Jin helps Chris "are you okay?"

"This power... it feels heavy... it's if we were in a planet that has the strongest gravity field." Sofia describes it.

Markos in thought: It doesn't feel like it, but I can feel some form of heavy force pushing me down and my legs feel way too weak. It's indeed really heavy. I bet not even Kaori would hold on.

Markos looks at Kaori. He's surprised to see Kaori trembling.

Markos in thought: Wait, he's not shaking out of fear, no, its just of how strong it is, he must be feeling that same pressure as well. Just how strong is this thing?!

Suddenly, lightning comes crashing down close by the group, then a smoke screen appears. The smoke screen spreads out to reach the group of friends. The smoke screen then clears out and reveals the man in his 50s.

"Oh I see. I was able to get everyone here. Thought it was going to be harder." says the old man "I think I should have introduced myself in a better way than..." before the man can finish his sentence, Markos just runs up to him.

"Markos!" Sofia yells to him.

"Who the hell are you?!" Markos yells to the old man as he runs. The man puts his hand behind his cape and a hammer comes out of his cape. The Hammer changes to a Katana when it was on its way to Markos. Markos grabs it and stops

"Jeez, that thing was getting tiring. So anyway, as I was trying to say..." The man tries to resume his talk but Markos just resumes to attack.

"Ha! You must be dumb to give me a sword! I don't know why it changed like that, but you're still dumb to do that!"

"Oh really? Let's see." when Markos was about to slash at the man, he retaliates with a staff, that just appeared out of nowhere.

"What?!" Markos is surprised "you never..."

"I never had it on hand, so how is it on my hand now?"

Sofia in thought: I don't understand! This man didn't even move, but he just suddenly blocked Markos' sword strike. There was nothing to suggest that he even had that staff, yet it just appeared, like he was so fast we could barely see his movements.

"Now Markos, you might want to move now. Look up there." after the man said that, crashing light and thunder began to appear on the sky. Markos jumped back as lightning hit the man's staff. The staff then turned into some lightning bolt on hand "now, be careful. My turn is up." as Markos was ready to block, the man was behind him all the sudden. Markos looks behind him at the man about to attack him.

Markos in thought: I can't move out of the way!

A shield of air blocked the man's attack. The man looks to see Sofia with her hands extended.

"Nice block for your friend." the man compliments. Markos took that as an opportunity to strike. Markos does a sword slash at the man, but the Man was on the ground this time "too slow Markos." Akira was now behind the man all of the sudden. She looked surprised at first, but then she was about to throw a punch, the man could barely dodge it. The man looks that there is a shadow following him, he looks up to see Kaori about to connect a punch, so the man jumped back.

The man: Wow, they're really strong indeed. Just like back then. Although, why is Markos having trouble accessing his power and why did the hammer change to a katana?

Ice was forming around the man's limbs.

"What?!" the man notices in shock.

"Now Jin!" Jin threw a circular shield at the man. The shield then gets cut in half.

"What?" Jin is in shock and so is everyone else in what they are seeing.

"I've seen better attacks than these wimpy strikes of all of you combined." the man says it all. Markos noticed something, the old man was always on the defense, he never attacked them, and when he did, he always warned them and always held back, it's like he was testing them.

"Hey! Stop playing games! What do you want!?" Markos asks "You're not here to attack us, so what are you here for?!" The Man's staff goes back to normal and disappears.

"Well done, Markos. The powers are indeed safe, with skilled and intelligent people. I mean, like Sofia here must have done that wind shield by accident." says the Man.

"Wait, how do you know my name?" Sofia asks.

"I mean, the fact I sent the messages is obvious..." says the old man.

"SO YOU ALREADY KNOW OUR NAMES!" Jin yells.

"NOW THAT'S CREEPY!" Sofia calls that out.

"Please, don't be mad, let me explain... actually show you 6 something." says the Old Man "Come here everyone." no one is sure at first.

"Guys, let's find out what is it." says Chris and everyone agrees. Markos is skeptical on what the man wants to "show", but maybe they'll get the answers on what they want. They gather with the man.

"Alright. Should be seen right about... now." says the old man as everyone then consumed by a beam of light and is transported away.
