2 Chapter 1: The known Ambush

Emperor Suiren was born late, having so many sisters and being the only male he was treasured but his Father Emperor Yawen being a great Emperor who united the four mainlands of Chinxo and sat on the golden dragon throne died before Suiren became 16, his mother the Empress took over as reagent and as soon as he was 16 he became the Emperor of the Great Yuan Empire.

He had to learn a lot on the throne. Speaking of combat power Suiren did not lack any, he was diligent in his martial art lessons and at the age of 9, he had acquired neigong and connected his ren and du meridians. At the age of 13, he had learned 4 martial art, and finally, he was able to enter Realisation into the spirit art at the age of 17 which made him very powerful and respected.

But never the less he had little to no experience when it was about governing a large empire such as the Yuan.

There were oppositions here and there not to mention he was made to marry daughters of officials just so they could gain the fragment of the royal family's authority. Already having 5 consort, he met lady Hua on the battlefield with the Xian Bei tribe, she was the prominent daughter of Lua lei of the Huangjidao sect, also know as the snow Queen, her mastery and attribute with ice was recognized throughout the whole Jiang Hu Coalition.

He had never seen a lady stood up to his great dragon flame as she did. He eventually fell in love with her and after much opposition and from her father and the court he made her his consort. But the opposition continued because she was an influential person in the Jiang Hu the court was scared of the Emperor becoming a part of the Jiang Hu world. They knew how much those people dedicate themselves to growing strong and attaining immortality which many great masters have. The Emperor was strong enough already if he involves himself in the Jiang Hu coalition they wouldn't be able to control him.

Of course, Emperor Suiren knew of all they seek, but they had taken too much of he's the authority he had. If he opposes them it'll affect the people. So he endured their pretentious faces and actions while waiting for the right moment to sort the good eggs from the bad ones and destroy the bad ones.

Lady Hua however, presented him with that chance. She had prepared herself for this moment. She was finally going to lift away her beloved husband's burden.

Her guardsman knelt on one knee before her as she wrote with brush and ink, it was unknown what she was writing but every servant in her manor knows she spent most of her days writing.

Rui her most favoured guardsmen who now stood before her have been opportune to hear a lot. She would often say to him.

'Do you know writing is a very deep act of meditation on the same level as breathing, of course, breathing is important but writing is just as important, the concentration is precious'

Rui was a martial artist that didn't know much. His dagger style martial art was passed down from his family, he was from the street and had not been opportune to learn a better martial art, he even had a lesser amount of neigong compared to others, his style didn't require much use of neigong in the first place. So he paid less attention to her.

She dropped the stick brush and stood up, stretched her hand sideways, and her white beautiful ice flower sword glid from the shelf it was into her hand, she tightened her first on it and majestically walked out, her red hanfu dress fluttered around as she stepped out.

Dark clothing flew relatively fast within the tall trees in the forest of Shen town. A localization lady Hua chose to settle down because of the peace of the ocean, she would occasionally go to the sea banks in the evenings and gaze into the wide sea, interact with the people. She was like a governor of the city.

It pained her that the very city would be used.

She tried her best to evacuate the people but what about their properties.

The dark clothes all stopped on a hill, the moonlight illuminated from behind them as they revealed themselves on the hill.

She planned to give an opening and the power-hungry officials would fall for it, evidence have been secured and it just remained for her to capture a witness, out of all the black-clothed men that stood before her.

She drew her sword out, sky flower made a piercing tone as she unsheathed it.
