Sawyer walked on tiptoe, and as soon as she reached the guest room, she heard Leo's serious voice from inside. "I didn't lie to you. This girl's name is Cassie, and she is your daughter who was taken away by the river ten years ago."
Ryan was incredulous and stared at Cassie's face intently. But no matter how he looked, the girl on the bed had plain features and bore no resemblance to Rylie.
If there was only one feature that was similar between her and Rylie, it would probably be their shiny eyes, but that could not prove anything.
"It's impossible. We've already found Sawyer, and we did a paternity test years ago which confirmed that Sawyer is our daughter. How could we have made a mistake?" Ryan looked at Cassie with great confusion and spoke with a heavy feeling.
Leo sighed. "Mr. White, you've known me for a long time. When have I ever lied to you, especially about something like this?"
