Her Story

"Hello" , there's no sound from the other side for a second, then she heard someone shouting.

"ADEL! WHY YOU KEEP IGNORING MY CALL?!"

Adeline pulled her phone away, and put it back on her ear after 3 seconds.

"Are you planning to make me deaf?" , she said.

From the other side of the call, she can heard someone sighed before saying "It's your fault, i keep calling you for almost 5 times but you ignored it!"

Right, he has been calling her for 5 times and she just answered him now. She won't pick up a call from a strange number after all.

"Ok ok my fault, then why you keep calling? Is there something important?"

"Oh right! I almost forgot about it. After your class ended, come to my workplace, i have a surprise for you!" , he said excitedly.

"Loki, you can stop trolling and playing around with me. Is this another bullsh*t again?" , she frowned.

"No no no, i'm serious!"

"How many times is it already? This probably gonna be your 109th times right?"

"ADEL! I'M SERIOUS!" , he shouted.

"Have you ever been joking when you fooling me around before?" , she said sarcastically.

Loki became silent on the other side of the phone. It makes the frown on Adeline face deepened.

She is definitely bored but she's not that bored to the point that she will allow other people to make fun of her!

"Adel, i'm really serious, you can do anything as you please if i'm joking with you today." , his voice sound helpless.

Adeline raised her eyebrow, 'He's really serious?' . She then helplessly sighed, "Alright, i will go, give me your position, i forgot where is it."

She hanged up the call and turned around to leave. Loki also sent her his location right after she hanged up.

She immedietaly drove to the location. In 30 minutes, she arrived in front of an office, she parked her scooter and entered the building. The moment she entered the building, her hand suddenly pulled by someone.

That person pulled her to a room and shutted the door behind her.

"Adel you came!" , he said excitedly. Yes, the person who pulled her right after she arrived was Loki.

"Why you so excited today? Something happened?"

"You guess!"

"You won a lottery? You got a girlfriend?" , she guessed randomly.

The room fell into silent, "Did i guessed it correctly?"

Loki just sighed quitely and shaked his head, "It's not about me, it's you."

"Me?"

"Yeah, the story that you sent got noticed by one of the higherups and they're planning to talk with you about your story!"

"Then why you are the one that excited?" , she said puzzledly.
