Fated Meeting

Actually, he just said it casually without any deep meaning. He also smiled at that time, but when he saw her widened eyes and shocked face, he can't help but to feel bad about it.

At first, when he heard that he looked like her acquaintance, he thought a lot about it. He was trying to look for her face in his memories but he can't seem to find anything similar. He did it just to tease her...

But now, looking at her face. He began to question his memories. Just now, she clearly denying the fact that they knew each other, but little did she know that her face shown everything.

"Uu-h, Pre-sident.. You're joking righ-t" , Adeline stuterringly said. She wanted to, wanted to control her own emotion. But why, in front of this man, everything seems to crumble. She doesn't want him to remember her, even if there is tiny hope inside of her, she still hoped that they can part ways.

"Yes" , he said calmly. After that, the room became silent. Both of them say nothing, but deep inside, they are trying to break the silence.

They speaked at the same time, and the room became silent again. Then suddenly the office door ding-ed and a man entered. The man looks like in his twenties, wearing the same suit like Jun and the same coldness on his face.

The moment he entered, the tense atmosphere in the room eased a lot. Adeline was glad that someone entered the room. She looked at the person that just entered and her relaxed face tensed once more.

Really ah, what's wrong with her luck today. Bumping into one and another people that she never wished. Look, she can't even stand firm in front of Jun and now here comes another big boss, Jun's brother, Rio.

Even thought the siblings look similar to each other, their personality is like heaven and earth. On outside, Jun looks warm and friendly, but he is actually very cold inside. Different from his brother, Rio is a gentleman, he cares about others and caring.

But that's not the point right now!

If it's other people, they might be happy about such a fated meeting, a great reunion between three people. But that's not the case for Adeline, she still remembered that day. It's deep engraved in her memories, even if she forgot about other things, she just can't forgot about those.

She know that she must look very tense in front of them, she tried to calm down. 'Calm down Adel, if Jun doesn't remember about you, his brother must forgot about you too.' , she said in her heart. Fortunately none of them have seen her tense expression, allowing her to relax.

This time, she really calmed down. It's time to finish their business and treat each other as strangers.

"President Jun, you must have a very important guest. Should we finalized our contract now?"

When Jun heard this, he is very impressed with her. Other people might droll over his brother when they see him, but she is very calm. Even asked him to finish their business.

"Alright" , he glanced at the signature on the contract.

Her signature doesn't even looks like one, it looks like she just wrote it casually. He looked at her and said, "Miss Adeline signature is very simple, i'm not sure if you are serious with this project?"

Adeline heard this and she was stunned, she looked at her own signature and frowned. For the first time in her life, she got complained over her signature. She realized that this was her fault, she never had any proper signature all these years, if people told her to sign, this signature is the one that will came out.

Before she could refute, Jun talked again "I was just joking, don't be so tense." He continued, "About the office, your office will be located over there" , he pointed at a direction.

Because the direction that he pointed wasn't so clear, Adeline stood up and saw a door. She frowned, and asked "President, you mean... that one?" , she pointed at a room outside the president office.

Jun saw this, and naturally he laughed. "Not that one Miss Adeline, but that one" , he pointed once again. This time, Adeline can see it clearly, the one that he pointed was a room right beside the president's office.

"Then does that mean..." , before she could finish. There is a cough sound beside them, and followed by that she can hear "Miss Adeline is it? That's right, the room that you will use is that one, the one that connected to the President's Office." , he said patiently.
