107 Unawakened Core

Wave after wave blew off of Link. He jumped in the air and pulled the Arrow back.

"I guess you guys can become my Exp" Link said, letting the Arrow go with a loud boom.

Wosh!

To anyone watching, the Arrow looked like it teleported, appearing right in front of Lilia. At the last second, she moved to the side, barely dodging the Arrow and avoided getting her head skewered. A wound appeared on her cheek, cutting some hair off of her head.

Boom!

The Arrow landed on the ground, exploding in a wave of blaze. The whole area was covered in flames.

"Damn, no announcements. I knew that trick wouldn't kill any of them" Link muttered. He powered the Bow as much as he could while adding the fire Mana Imprint into the Arrow.

This is one of the new options belonging to the 'Mana Imprint' Skill. Since Maxing its Level. Link found out that he could add an element to the Imprint, giving it a certain spice.

"You damn brat" A shout came from the smoke. Link recognized the voice, as it belonged to the Archer he met back in the Bandits camp "YOU'RE DEAD" She screamed.

A silhouette appeared from the smoke, getting larger by the second.

"What is that?" Link asked, as the shape looked odd.

Wosh! Wosh! Wosh!

A barrage of countless Arrows raced towards Link, mercilessly aiming for every part of his body.

"Oh damn, i think she's mad" Link muttered as he tried to Blink away.

Blergh!

<There's a restriction, remember?>

"Damn it, i forgot." Link spoke as he activated one of his recent favorite Skills. 'Godly Body' is the evolved version of Superior Harden. It gives Link immunity for 1 second. Which was more than enough.

His body shone in a dim white light, he looked like he ate a flashlight. As he shone, the arrows made contact, bouncing off of him as if they hit an indestructible wall. All the arrows dropped on the floor, turning into Mana particles.

"So the arrows are a Skill?" Link muttered.

Wosh!

Link did not get to finish his thought when the robed man with his two guards rushed towards Link. Blue, white and yellow lights shone in each of their swords as they swung.

"Grouping up on a kid? What manly men you are" Link yelled as he dodged their attacks easily. They might have been fast to others, but to him they moved slowly. He managed to move out of the way of each attack while countering with another.

Clank! Clank!

Mana sparks flew everywhere as 4 shadows kept colliding with each other in the night sky. Lilia watched from a distance with shock.

"Is he a Warrior, Archer and a Conjurer at the same time? When did he find the time to practice all the skills" She muttered to herself.

Lilia was the proud Conjurer of her camp, while Feo was one of the best archers, then last but not least the Commander Arlo with his two best guards were the Warriors they brought along just to be sure. Their party was flawless and back before coming here Lilia thought it was an overkill. Now though, she wishes she brought more people.

"He improved by this much in such a short time. What a Monster" She thought to herself. She did not think Link was this strong compared to when she met him back then, since she analysed him both times and the difference was massive.

Link was holding his own against the three Warriors. He was faster and stronger which gave him the high ground despite their number difference.

"'Shadow Walk'. 'Ambush'. 'Air Boost'" Link cast all the Skills he needed at the moment. To the Warriors it looked like he was transparent, as the effects of Shadow Walk took place. They couldn't detect him anymore and his speed increased "I got you" Link said, as he saw an opening in a guard's form.

<Alert!>

<Trick>

Two messages appeared in front of Link, stopping his attack "I love this Skill" Link muttered as he pulled his hand back and retreated.

"Damn, he didn't fall for it" Arlo said, clicking his tongue.

Link vanished between the trees. As the group followed him. They looked around everywhere.

"Where did he go?" Feo asked, looking at Lilia.

"Don't worry, with my barrier around, he won't be able to go far" She said.

"A barrier huh" Suddenly Link appeared behind Lilia, smiling.

Wosh!

Feo, Arlo and his soldiers attacked. Link attempted to dodge but a weird black chain caught his legs and slowly slithered up his body, holding him in place, preventing him from moving anywhere.

ARGH!

Link screamed as 2 arrows struck his shoulder and chest, while the Warrior's swords cut both his arms and the other stabbed him.

Blood flew out like a river, as his head slumped.

"This idiot forgot i was here too" Lilia said "Such a shame. I did not wish to kill him" The black chains retracted back into a black hole in the ground. Letting the body fall limply near their feet.

"SHIT, WATCH OUT" Suddenly Lilia yelled, as Link's body shone with a threatening red light.

BOOM!

The group was sent flying back. Each slamming into trees, breaking them.

"Shadow Clone and Mana Imprint worked great together" Link appeared on a tree, smiling from ear to ear.

<3 000 Exp Acquired>

"Wait, only two humans?" Link asked. He looked at the direction where the group flew. He saw the two mangled bodies of the guards with Lilia, Feo and Arlo behind them.

"What loyalty. They sacrificed themselves to protect their masters" Link was impressed. He thought about what if he himself was in that situation "Nope, i ain't dying for no master" Link laughed.

"Y.. you bastard" Feo opened her eyes, glaring at Link.

"Hey now. You're the ones that attacked ME first" Link frowned "What right do you have to be angry? Their blood is on YOUR hands. Drop your pathetic pride" Link grabbed his Bow from his Inventory, nocked 3 arrows in and shot.

Feo kept looking at Link, but the light in her eyes dimmed a little.

Wosh! Wosh! Wosh!

Each arrow had its target. Perfectly aimed at each of their heads.

"Jump" Lilia weakly spoke. Her ring shone as the gem on it broke, creating a field that covered the 3 of them.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The arrows landed on the ground. Creating small craters for each.

Lilia, Feo and Arlo were gone. They vanished into thin air.

"Damn it. My Exp" Link sighed "What a waste"

Link jumped down, walking towards the 2 mangled bodies of the guards. Their armor was torn to shreds, as nothing was left but their messed up bodies and burnt skin.

"What?" Link was shocked. The message appeared when he got close to the bodies.

"What does that mean? Can i use this Core or not?" Link asked.

Without hesitating, Link put the Guard's body in his Inventory and got the Core. It was not as bright as Lyrius's Core but Link did not care.

<I'll Consume it>

"Please do" Link smiled. He did not need to do anything this time, he felt relieved.

<1 Psy Point Acquired>

"Nice. So I can activate the first Skill right?" Link asked enthusiastically. He opened the Skill tree and clicked on the first Skill, a small message appeared in front of him.

Link accepted. That was when his head felt refreshed. A cold comfortable feeling washed over him.

Link felt different. He could feel the trees and insects all the way in the back. He did not need to look using his physical eyes. It felt like he had eyes all over the place.

"This is incredible" Link said.
