17 Group of four

The next morning, the two boys came to bother them again. Beatrice acted like she didn't know them while Feifei rambled on with Mark.

"Hey! What are you guys doing for the National Examination? Do you want to study together?" Mark asked with sparkling puppy eyes. "My grades are pretty bad so I'm hoping I can get the great Goddess to help me study."

"Ohhh so this is what the arcade was about! You're bribing Beatrice to help you study while you pay for us yesterday!" Feifei accused him.

"Hey! Yesterday was pure coincidence! Don't slander me!" Mark defended himself.

"If you can talk quietly then I'll help you" Beatrice rubbed her temples.

Mark's legs were kicked by a certain someone because he's giving Beatrice a headache.

"Ouch!" Mark glared at Leon. He was the wingman here! He's helping him here, but what does his best friend do instead? Kick him!

"How ungrateful!" Mark cursed holding his leg.

"If Bea said yes, then alright. But where do we study at?" Feifei asked.

Beatrice thought of the library, but with these two knuckle heads in there they'll be kicked out in less then five minutes. So she suggested, "your chicken place?"

"Alright, I'll ask my mom to save us a private booth in the restaurant" Feifei pulled out her phone and texted her mother. After texting she looked at the boys and said, "you're not eating free though, my family have a business to run. So if you want to eat chicken, you gotta pay."

"You're so stingy!" Mark gasped at her stinginess.

Throughout the whole conversation, Leon hasn't said a word... he was just staring at Beatrice who's blocking his loving glance completely.

After school the four went to "Feifei's Ji".

"Mother! I'm back!" Feifei announced when she came into the restaurant full of customers.

"Feifei! I saw your text, use the booth at the end over there. I'll get you guys some drinks and snacks alright?" Feifei's mother said with a smile. "Oh hello Beatrice! How are you dear?"

Beatrice hugged her and smiled, "I'm great Auntie thank you for saving us a booth."

"Oh no worries! You always helped my Feifei with her studies. Without you she wouldn't even pass her first final exam!" Feifei's mother laughed.

Being used to her mother's criticisms, Feifei ignored it and led the three to the booth at the end of the restaurant.

Beatrice sat in between Feifei and Leon, Mark next to Leon. The four began studying and helping each other. They only have one month left to study as the National Exam is at the first of June. This exam takes 6 hours in total and have in total three subjects math, literature, and science. Of course, there's sections of each of those subjects. For example in math there's Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, etc.

Surprisingly math is the strongest subject for Feifei because she does coding and needs to know the basic math for it. But for Feifei and Mark literature is torture for them.

Today's subject was literature as Beatrice said because she thought Feifei needs to get the hardest question out of the same first.

They were discussing and studying when Feifei's mother came with a tray of chicken, fries and sodas.

The four thanked her and ate their gills before coming back to study.

It was evening when they decided to stop studying. Mark went out of his way to pay for the chicken.

"No dear! It's on the house! You're friends of Feifei so I can't charge you!" Feifei's mother declined Mark's money. But being the stubborn guy that he was, Mark shoved it in the tipping box and ran out of the restaurant.

The group of four did this routine for the rest of the month. They surprisingly get along really well and become friends.

During this time, Beatrice found out Leon was smarter than her as he pointed out and corrected her mistakes in their studies. But she wondered why he was hiding himself. When she heard his name she knew he was a big shot. Leon Hanson? Who would've missed the name Hanson? Possibly Feifei because she didn't give a big reaction, but Beatrice wasn't naive as her family is in business.

Beatrice concluded that Leon is the heir to this massive empire. The Hanson Conglomerate is the best and biggest Corporation there is in City A and the entire Country A. They control most of the well known businesses out there. Under one branch, there was the huge Rose Mall located in the center of City A. But this was only one branch under the massive tree, the wealth of the Hansons was indescribable. And here is the heir, playing around with them like it was nothing.

And with Mark Wei... he was the heir to the Wein Entertainment that houses many successful actors, actresses and singers. He could be considered to be big as well, but rumors have it the Hansons were trying to get Wei Entertainment under their wing.

She thought not to mention the two's identities to Feifei as she could possibly faint because compared to the three big elephants she was hanging out with, Feifei was a chicken.

"So what colleges are you guys planning to go to?" Feifei asked the boys.

"Hm Kings University I guess? I don't know what major I want to do into and this university have a lot of majors so I didn't like what I pick I can always change" Mark replied.

"Kings" Leon replied with his charming low voice.

"Oh so we're all going to the same place!" Feifei smiled brightly as she got excited. Beatrice's face darkened as she imagined being stacked with these three for another five years. She shivered.

"Well the National Exam is Monday next week, are we cramping at work this afternoon?" Mark asked sadly. "Can't we have one day off? It's Friday for God's sake!"

"But where? Arcade again?" Feifei asked.

"Karaoke?" Said Mark.

"No" Beatrice and Leon rejected said at the same time.

"Club?" Mark whispered this time. Mark and Beatrice were 17 while Feifei and Leon were 18. So two of them are minors who are not supposed to drink and two of them are legal people that can drink.

"Um I don't think that's a good idea. If we get caught right before the National Exam I will break that thick ass neck of yours giraffe" Feifei threatened with her sharp tongue.

"Mall" Beatrice spoke, deciding their spot for the day.

"Yay! Your treat?" Feifei asked.

Beatrice nodded and to the mall it was.
