"Leah's pov"

It's Sunday morning I woke up late I had a good night's sleep which I lacked for 2years, something I m happy about, I logged into the laptop and checked the mail from "deck" who is working for me in the case of my parents accident.

"nothing as usual" I muttered angrily.

Everything is a puzzle when we find a person with information, he ends up dead, the enemy is very resourceful and why is he waiting, if he wants to find me with everything he has.

"Aaaahhhhhh" I shouted in frustration.

Uncle Jim opened my door and let himself in. He looked from the laptop and me, he knows that I do research but he doesn't know that I have a person to do it. I wanted to do something but if I tell him he wouldn't let me do it, saying it's too dangerous for me.

"Gud morning to you too, breakfast's ready. Clean up, so we could go meet the alpha and see if the school is up to your liking" he left.

I brushed my teeth lazily and went downstairs.

"It's just bacon and toast" he called out from the kitchen.

We sat down and started eating.

"The alpha had a good relationship with your father Luther" he looked up from the plate.

I nodded my head.

"That's why he is willing take the risk of admitting you into that school".

"I don't wanna be a threat to him and his pack" I admitted.

He didn't say anything, and we ate silently.

I went up to take a shower and wore a practical clothing.

My room looked like empty without anything colourful, all my pictures are in a box under my bed. Memories that makes me cry that I m not capable of getting revenge on my people.

We went to the pack, by just looking at the people made my heartache that I was left with nothing to protect.

The alpha was out there and welcomed. He had a penetrating gaze that sent my alpha wolf at edge. I stared at him back but my mind was telling me to bury myself alive. He smiled at me.

"You must be Leah Martin, My deep condolences, why don't we discuss this at my office and I will have someone to take you to the school after we talk" he started to walk forward.

'Where is the Luna, she is the one that supposed to welcome us' i thought in my head.

The alpha came to a halt and looked at me.

"The Luna passed away trying to protect the pack 5 years ago" he looked proud with a ghost smile.

'Can he read my mind' red signals were going off.

"Yes I can" he laughed.

We went to the office silently, while I tried to clear all the thoughts I get in my mind.

"You can't keep doing that for too long" he said as he shut the door behind us.

"But I can try" I smiled.

"Martin's" alpha Ryder muttered.

"So about the school" uncle Jim interrupted looking like he lost his patience.

I never seen uncle Jim like this. Suddenly the alpha looked at me and nodded.

"Your free to visit the school after we are done talking here" he replied sternly.

We both nodded.

"Your both on a run from god knows who, but I have a plan where both of you can be safe and productive" he continued.

"Leah Martin can stay in this pack until the education and Jim can collect information about your enemy, it's a win on win, Leah will be safe and the enemy can be identified" he completed.

"No, I can't leave Leah here alone, what if your pack gets attacked because of Leah, you don't want that do you?" Uncle Jim said blankly.

"I don't wanna be a trouble alpha Ryder but, thank you for offering" I replied politely.

"Ok, if you change your mind know that you will always have a place in blood Ryder pack" he smiled warmly.

I nodded, he is a good hearted wolf.

"I informed your situation to my son who happens to be same age as you, he will help you in settling in" he said.

"Thanks alpha" I said, uncle Jim nodded his thanks.

After talking with him, me and my uncle Jim went to visit the school, it was a decent school for all supernatural beings, unlike my pack school was only for werewolf and some humans, here in the south they coexisted with least trouble.

Uncle Jim was hell bent in joining me to the school which I accepted, at least I could try something new.

I was exhausted when we reached home, we ordered on our way, simple dinner.

"Can I let my wolf out, she is very restless?".

"Sure, but don't go too far".

"Okay, bye" I took off.

"I m going to bed soon, be inside within 10pm, and I m serious lee" he added before he disappeared in the stairs.

I shrugged my clothes off and hide it in the trunk of the tree, and then I let her out, she was happy, more than happy.

Boom!

Away from a distance, there was a sound like a bomb.

"Come on, god! Give me a break" I told my wolf.

My wolf bared her teeth.

"I guess that makes two of us" i said to her.

I ran close enough to the area where the sound came from, it looks like humans are as usual acting dumb.

I didn't make any sound, I don't wanna attract trouble, I m planning on staying here a while.

I turned around and ran away into the forest, I strolled near the lake and drank the water generously.

I saw my reflection, my wolf was big, red furred with emerald green eyes. I laid there for a bit and ran back to home since I have to wake up early to school.

I laid on my bed and counted till 156, the darkness enveloped and sleep took over me.
