26 Chapter 25: Night

Chu Quao and Shi Yan was on their way back to the Heavenly Realm. It was already dark but Shi Yan was still riding his sword restless, while Chu Quao feel tired and also sleepy.

"Prince..." she called

"What?" He asked without looking her

"Can we stop for a while? *yawn* I might sleep here if we still go on without even taking a rest" she pleased

"Just hang on a little bit, we need to go back as soon as possible"

Chu Quao pouted her lips, "Eiii! Princeeee! I'm sleepy" she make sure that her voice was pity enough to make him agreed.

He sigh, "Fine! But just rest for a half hour"

Chu Quao smiled like her mouth was going to ripped. "Thank you prince!"

Shi Yan just tsked and find a safe place for them to rest.

"Where are we?" He asked, Chu Quao look at the surroundings and saw a lot of trees, they are in the wilderness and it means they're in the forest.

"Forest, prince" He asked Chu Quao to find a cave that is a bit high to be unharmed by the wild animals.

Chu Quao lead the way in the cave she saw exactly as prince's command.

As they landed, the cave was so dark to see what's inside. "P-prince, it's so dark"

"I'm at dark so I'm used to it" he said

"U-uhm... prince? C-can you light up the way?" She asked nervously, she was afraid of dark

"Do I look like having a fire power to light up the way to you?" He said sarcastically

Chu Quao just pouted, "But how can we enter in this cave without seeing anything?!"

"Do you see some branches or any wood here? And also a sharp rock even it's small as long as it can be holded"

Chu Quao roamed her eyes to search some wood and rock, when she saw some she quickly pick those up. "Here are some branches and two sharp rocks"

Shi Yan trying to touch the wood and the stone so Chu Quao move those closer to him. "Good... now arranged the branches in triangular"

Chu Quao did what Shi Yan says, "Done!"

"Then make a fire using those sharp stones" Chu Quao didn't get what does Shi Yan says.

'How can I make a fire using stones? Is he making fun of me? My powers is for plants and flowers and not making a fire!'

Her eyebrows were wrinkled and still thinking how can she make fire.

"Hey"

She didn't notice that Shi Yan was calling her because she was confused and her mind was in mess thinking how make fire.

"WOMAN!"

Chu Quao was about to jump when she heard Shi Yan shouted. "Oh my!"

Shi Yan was wearing his blank face when he heard her being shocked. "I guess you were thinking how to make fire with those stones without having a fire power, didn't you?"

Chu Quao smiled with a wry smile, "Idiot"

She just pouted, "Give me the stones"

Chu Quao handed the stones to Shi Yan and lead him in front of the triangular shape of woods. Shi Yan started to rub both of the stones and it's starting to spark, a few moments later a fire was created and we already have a bonfire.

"Woah! Cool! Fantastic!" Chu Quao was so amazed of what she just saw, whil Shi Yan was shaking his head hearing the girl's celebrating and being amaze because of a simple creating fire.

But a seconds later Chu Quao realized something, "Prince how can we get inside the cave if the our light was just here outside? Can you hold this thing?"

Her eyes sparkle when she was imagining Shi Yan can hold the bonfire while they're walking inside the cave, she thought how cool is that.

But her imaginations stops when Shi Yan flick off her forehead. "OUCH!"

She hold her forehead and wrinkled her eyebrows while pouting. "Stupid! You think this bonfire can be hold, it's not a torch"

Chu Quao smiled when she realized she was wrong. "Oops! Sorry"

"Prince?" She called

"What?"

"We didn't eat anything since we leaved at the Mount Fujian... so I just want to say that... I'm hungry"

Shi Yan sigh, he take a pill inside his cloth and give it her. "Take this, it can seize your hunger and you can no longer be hungry until three days after you take it"

Chu Quao smiled and take the pill without any hesitation, as she gulp the pill her hunger automatically release and she feel like she was already eaten something and she can also feel her energy being gained again.

"Woah! Thank you prince....but how about you?" She asked, worriedly that Shi Yan must be hungry too.

"I'm alright,  don't mind me"

"Come prince let's sit beside the bonfire" Chu Quao said joyfully, she guide him to sit beside the bonfire to feel warm in the cold night.

"Hey" he called

"Yes?"

"Are we inside the cave already?" He asked with a doubtful feeling

"You said that you can't bring the bonfire inside so... No! We are still outside the cave and it is a three steps away" Shi Yan sigh in disbelief, what if it'll rain they will surely get wet and the bonfire will be out of fire.

Shi Yan closed his eyes to get rest while sitting straight, after a few minutes of resting he opened his eyes. "It's time, let's continue our--"

He stops when he hear a snore, and he knew that it was Chu Quao. "Woman!"

But no respond, "Hey! I said--"

"Uhm! No! Not that! Noooo!" He heard Chu Quao acting like a child again while dreaming. He just shake his head and he had no choice but to let the night pass and wait until morning.

But he know that their place is not that safe so he stay awake to guard Chu Quao all night.
