67 New training and cool techniques.

After that day I asked Shi-Woon for his blood and I started to train on the [Fierce Tiger Strike] Martial Arts Style my life sort of got back to a routine. I would Wake up eat, go to school, come back home, and train on the [Fierce Tiger Strike] Martial Arts Style.

I guess keep calling it the [Fierce Tiger Strike] is kind of confusing, so I will just change it to name [Fierce Tiger Style]. So herewith the power granted to be by the highest authority in martial arts in my house right now, I hereby change the name from [Fierce Tiger Strike] to [Fierce Tiger Style], mote be it.

Even I am getting confused calling it [Fierce Tiger Strike] when it is undoubtedly a martial arts Style, so the change was more than welcome.

So going back to what I was talking about. The [Fierce Tiger Style] is quite a good style of martial arts based heavily on [Ki] control, but you probably already know that. What you don't know is the [Fierce Tiger Style] effects.

When you use the [Fierce Tiger Style] in a fight you need to change your [Ki-Flow] and use a heavier [Ki], the fast change of [Ki-flow] causes an internal effect similar to a whiplash which increases your damage exponentially, breaking a wood stake in half demands almost no effort at all.

The beauty of this [Fierce Tiger Style] is that it isn't only restricted to one part of the body, you can use it in a knee strike, a kick, or even headbutt, so even if this technique isn't absurdly strong like the [Soul Crushing Strike] for example, its versatility is simply staggering. And the fact that it's more of a style than an [Inner Power Technique] per si, is another bonus point to it.

So I trained in the [Fierce Tiger Style] both my familiarity and [Ki] control growing by the day, the progress was a little bit slow to my agonizing and crippling anxiety, but it was steady enough that I didn't jump to another technique like an anxious child with a bunch of new toys.

But one of these days while I was going over the list of my techniques, I came across something interesting. Albei there was none of the know high-level members of the Sun-Woo clan on the day of the Demon King invasion, there was indeed some manpower belonging to the clan on that mess that was the rooftop.

Tha enabled me to copy a very interesting technique the [Thunder Fist Style], it is similar to the [Fierce Tiger Style] in the way that both are martial arts styles, but the difference is there while the [Fierce Tiger Style] is more akin to a [Ki-Flow] technique, the [Thunder Fist Style] is almost entirely focused on your fists.

Yep, the [Thunder Fist Style] is when the user focuses [Ki] around the fist. By gathered Ki strengthens into the fist enough to result in a very powerful strike. The biggest differential and what could be called even a trait of this technique is when someone uses it their fist generates some kind of electric aura.

I only stopped practicing the [Fierce Tiger Style] to make some tests with this intriguing technique. The thing I was most curious about si that elemental affinities can still count for something. Yeah, those elemental affinities from naruto, normally an Uchiha has a fire affinity while lightning not being all that uncommon.

So even if I have no way to guess my affinity I was curious about the results of practicing the [Thunder Fist Style]... That is just an excuse, I know it. But I simply grew too bored of doing the same thing over and over again and needed a little bit of variety. And if you are curious, no affinities do not exist, or maybe I simply didn't have the lighting one.

So I went like that; practicing both [Thunder Fist Style] and [Fierce Tiger Style], with the [Thunder Fist Style] my punches could eventually carry the strength of a thunderclap, and with the [Fierce Tiger Style] my whole body could be a real weapon and soon I would have the strength of a ferocious tiger. Shit, that sounded lame even if I just said it in my mind... Thankfully no one will know about it.

If you wonder why I am putting emphasis so much on such "basic" forms of the martial arts, is simply because the basics are the best thing for survival. You can easily deal way more damage with just the basics than with some flash and grand move. A good example is Madara at the start vs the Shinobi alliance, what did more damage? the gigantic and flashy fireball or a simple and well done Taijutsu battle? I know what Madara does after but I think my point was made.

Also, the basics consume way less stamina to a higher DPS(Damage Per Second) at the end, in gaming terms, it's like you can deal way more overall damage with your character higher and faster basic attacks than with a simple flash ultimate. That doesn't mean that an Ultimate technique is useless, on the contrary, if you combine both basic attacks and an ultimate technique you can deal even more DPS, I simply decided to focus on my basics first, the is also the fact that my control is shit right now, so most of the good stuff will have tow ait for a bit, principally the creating new techniques part, that will have to wait for a while longer for it to be feasible.

Of course even if [Ki] is extremely important I did not forget to practice my [Ripple]. I focused principally on using my [Ripple] in the wackiest and unpredictable way possible. Like; disjointing bones to gain a little more reach, climbing wall like the spider-man, walking on water like a naruto character, making [Ripple] bubbles... And my biggest focus of all: healing.

Yeah, I am not immune to committing mistakes in my unsupervised training, so when I mess up it usually involves a lot of blood a ruptured skin. I am just thankful I don't have that much [Ki] yet, I pretty sure that I would have blown up some of my members if I had. Due to some of my mistakes, I ended up using a lot of [ripple] to heal myself.

Thanks to this I improved a bit on using [Ripple] to heal. Healing with [ripple] is rather easy, the ancient breathing art being almost made for it also helped a lot. Normally you could see me taking deep Breaths when I use [Ripple] to heal, breathing is indeed correlated to it, as are all techniques [Ripple] related.

To maximum efficiency in healing myself, I first need to empty my lungs of air, I generally do it with a controlled use of my breathing, but it can be done by hitting me on my lungs, diaphragm, or any part of my respiratory system. The hit will normally help empty my lungs of air and as a natural reaction, I would want to take a deep breath to gather more oxygen inside of it, thus triggering the most pure form of [Ripple]. This reaction is ideal to heal wounds, broken bones, and a lot of other things, hitting someone is the same way Zeppeli healed and started teaching Jonothan the [Ripple].

I guess I talked a bit too much about my training and stuff, guess I should at least give a little bit of update on what is happening in school. Shi-Woon was, of course, the primary target of most bullies but the boy now can easily fight back and defend himself even with his [Ki Center] broken he can still wipe the floor with the normies with his fighting experience alone. He fought and didn't back down from fighters way scarier than some fatass school bullies.

The funny thing was when the Sun-Woo clan appeared to recognize him as their clan leader, so the loli still gave him the Phoenix medallion thus making him the leader of the Sun-Woo clan. After that episode, everyone kind of became afraid of him. Most thought he was the son of some big mafia boss or politician, the speculations and gossips run rampant for a long time. Until the short attention span of the teens kicked in again and they started focusing on other things.
