75 Walking and talking with Wei.

Training in the movements techniques has been the right choice, they complement my style exceptionally well covering for my previous weakness. Sadly I am in no way close to mastering them, but I did indeed create some interesting methods of training.

Advance Step, Retreat Step, Evade Step, Attack Step, are pretty straightforward to train, sadly the Illusionary step is literally a hidden/secret technique so I guess I will need a little bit more experience with walking techniques to be able to utilize it.

But I discovered a way to train those constantly, remembering the fact that Shi-Woon could use a bootleg version of those techniques without [Ki], I tried something similar, but instead of spending a lot of time trying to replicate Shi-Woon, I created a way for me to constantly train those techniques while I walk.

It isn't as efficient as I would like, but now I can train those techniques just by walking, principally the advance and the attack step, both of them are the easiest to train while I walk, so it isn't a stretch to see me matching others people walking rhythm or pattern, or simply walking faster than normal. Thankfully this type of training doesn't need much [Ki,] so I can go on very long training walks without any problems.

Right now I am going to meet with Wei, we've chosen, to no one surprise, the Pizza place we used to go to in the past. Liking it or not that place holds a lot of memories for us, and for even more coincidence Wei and I arrived exactly at the same time. Looking at my best friend I just smile and extend my hand. Immediately catching up to my meaning Wei uses our secret handshake we made years ago, right hand up facing downwards, swiping the left hand to the right, and after that finishing with a double fist bump.

"Hah, Good to see you again friend. How are you going."(Wei).

"Nice, I guess?"(Jin).

"Just nice? I thought when the awesome me comes back I would have some kind of grandiose and big reception."(Wei).

"Stop that, you narcissistic bastard. Next thing you will demand a butler named Alfred that will help your feet warm with his own clothes."(Jin).

"Hahaha, I will never know this vendetta you have against young masters, from where did it come from?"(Wei).

"Dude, you read Xianxia and you don't have a vendetta against those guys? What kind of reader are you?... Wait... Are you projecting?"(Jin).

"Of course I am projecting*grunt* And if you don't bow to this young master, I would need to contact my ancestor to show you the true might of my clan*grunt*"(Wei).

There was a little awkward silence, even some people that sat closer to us looked at this scene weirdly like we were just two monkeys in a zoo. which might as well be partially true in this case. The silence was, of course, broken by my slowly increasing laughter. Which Wei soon followed after.

"Damn, what are they teaching you at school? Your acting skills simply skyrocketed."(Jin).

My question receive an extremely exasperated and deadpan stare from Wei, and on a tone that indicated a lot of hours of repeated mental suffering he answered.

"It's impossible to not get better when almost everyone where I study talks like that. I swear those guys don't have a shred of humility on them"(Wei).

"My condolences."(Jin).

"*Sigh* thank you, at least you understand my pain... Now I think its better if we sat and make or order, the waiter is looking increasingly bothered by us just standing here."(Wei).

I look at the waiter sheepishly and mutter a sorry with my mouth, the waiter simply rolls his eyes and went to get other people orders. I and Wei found a table at the corner of the Pizzeria sat there, minutes after the same waiter comes and gets our order, Pepperoni with bacon and cheddar, best Pizza ever.

After ordering the Pizza and some coke to drink, Wei seems a little bit contemplative, like he is trying to make a difficult decision. As he seems to be taking too much time, I interrupting him already expecting what he is going to ask.

"Speak up bro, your think face is too ugly."(Jin).

"*Sigh* How is your mother?"(Wei).

As I said, I already expected it, but seeing as the topic is more positive than negative I don't mind talking about it, my mother is close to being cured after all. Wei probably already knows that I transferred her to another hospital and he probably just wants to know if her condition worsened or got better.

"Better than I expected."(Jin).

"That is a relief-"(Wei).

"There is a cure Wei."(Jin).

"There is a CURE? can I help? do you need money? is she- "(Wei).

"Calm down will you. The cure is in its development process, and I have some more time till I could give her it. And don't worry I got most of the things covered, now I only have to wait."(Jin).

"Why you didn't call me? I could've... maybe... helped somewhat?"(Wei).

"As I said, don't worry I got it covered. But I thank you for your help offer nonetheless, you are a good friend Wei, you helped me more times than I could count. IF YOU NEED help, please ask me too, I know I am not the only person in the world with problems, and if there is anything I can help I would do it gladly."(Jin).

"I... You... *sigh* Thanks, friend."(Wei).

But before I could answer our Pizza and coke arrived, it looked pretty delicious from here and I almost could hear the nutritionists crying in the background at how unhealthy this Pizza is.

"Damn, I missed this kind of food. Some time that fancy food I eat regularly doesn't handle a candle to the good old unhealthy junk food."(Wei).

"Hah, tell me about it."(Jin).

"I was here thinking-"(Wei).

"That can only lead to trouble."(Jin)

"- Did you perhaps made some more friends?"(Wei).

"I guess... Kinda. We aren't that close and-"(Jin)

After that, we talked for a lot more time, we ate the pizza and drank at least a 3-liter bottle of coke. It was a fun time that I spent talking with a friend. We talked about the most various topics, from group projects at school to funny situations. Wei's ways of telling a history are simply hilarious, he could make the most boring afternoon at his school look like a grandiose adventure, the guy has talent I tell you.

But all good things must come to an end, it was soon getting late and Wei's mom already called once so our time was cut short. Wei complained, of course, but understandably relented to his mother's wishes. Right now we are outside of the Pizzeria saying goodbye to each other.

"So this is goodbye for now friend. Don't forget to send me a message when your mother's get better will ya?"(Wei).

"Don't worry, I will. Bye friend, see ya."(Jin).

"Bye, Jin. And take care."(Wei).

Thus Wei walked a little bit until his driver came to pick him up, I stayed there looking at the expensive car driving on the horizon and exceeding my view distance. What I did not know at that time was that this would be the last time I would see my friend in a good while. If I had know maybe I would've acted differently? Maybe cherished more these moments? I will never know. What I know though is that fate can be really cruel sometimes.
