- Murim Alliance Patrol team -

A patrol team of the murim alliance is patrolling a quiet and deserted district, the Boss of this group is also currently in patrol with them, this is simply something of a routine.

Patroling is something fairly usual principally after some gangs resurfaced from obscurity after the stunt Goomoonryong pulled "stealing" all the nine titles from the clans of the alliance on that tournament, things went south from thereon.

Both long-time rivals the Hound Dogs and the Red Comand resurface stronger than ever, taking ownership of a bunch of underground criminal rings. But even their legendary rivalry seems to disappear as both seem to be working together right now, apparently, someone has united both gangs under one banner and he is cleaning house right now, but soon both gang will fuse and surface stronger than ever.

And sum it up with the Goomoonryong problem the Murim alliance was spread extremely thin, both groups care not about discretion nor subtly, thank god the Goomoonryong is been quite low profile lately, but from time to time we would get some snips of him. But even then it's still simply too much for the murim alliance as powerful as it may be, they are humans, powerful humans, yes but humans nonetheless, so they can only cover so much.

But even with all the problems, the alliance is facing this team composed fo three people now is fairly happy, they have been designed for a sector where things rarely happen, so it is just a paradise of peacefulness and boredom, but the team would take boredom any day instead of trouble.

Sadly their days were not mean to be normal and peaceful.

"Boss, there is something strange about that abandoned place."(Recruit)

"Are you really certain of it? I simply hate those fucking false alarms of your..."(Boss).

The boss didn't finish the berating of his subordinate when he looked at the place, everything looked normal for the untrained eyes, but for someone who practices ki? for someone with honed senses? that place stank, of fury and blood.

"Well... Shit."(Boss).

"What should we do boss? should we call the alliance?"(Subordinate).

The silencer subordinate until now asked, a little bit put out by the words of his boss.

"First we investigate inside the place... Just hold your stomachs, things like this are never... clean."(Boss).

"Shit boss what do you mean?"(Recruit).

"Well, you are fairly new to these things right?"(Boss).

"Yah I've joined for just a few months. Why?"(Recruit).

"Heh, you're lucky you didn't find any bad one yet."(Boss).

"Bad one?"(Recruit).

"Well, you probably dealt with some random fights, maybe a murder or the other right?"(Boss).

"Yeah, so what's your point boss?"(Recruit).

"Well, you will see... Just try to not puck your guts out. My gut is telling me this one will be pretty bad."(Boss).

"It can't be that bad right? It's difficult to have something worse than murder after all."(Recruit).

"Man, don't rise the fucking flags you just tempted fate... And as a last piece of advice, never underestimate humanity, for the good or for the bad."(Subordinate).

"...Ok?"(Recruit).

The trio got close to the place, the eerie feeling of it only increasing when they were face to face with the entrance. The boss tough for a moment and tried the door.

"It isn't locked... Bad sign."(Boss).

The boss opened the door and they were immediately assaulted by the stench of blood, looking at the floor the boss could see that everything was red-stained with blood. Then he looked up a little and saw it...

"Shit... This... is... Bad. Fuck man, this looks like some kind of animal did it..."(Boss).

"There some wounds that show clear sign of human interference, my guess it was a cultivator. But its looks too savage for..."(Subordinate).

"I know this already... damm... this shit here si well above our paygrade, I was expecting maybe five to six people dead... but this... I counted more than thirty just here. I will have to call the chief of security."(Boss).

*bleurgh*

Recruit appears to not be able to hold his lunch anymore, the sight was simply too much even for a trained martial artist like him. Subordinate seems to pick up a water bottle to help his colleague, while Boss picks up a cellphone to make a call.

"... Hello?... Yeah, it's a patrol, I have a report to make to the chief... Code 78978521-H... Yeah it's a code Flowing Red here."(Boss).

"Chief? Yeah, it's the boss of unity 78978521-H... The thing is pretty messed up this time... It's a massacre and not the normal clean one we normally see... No, this one looks like some bunch of rabid animals tore through a bunch of normal people...I will send some photos."(Boss).

"So what should we do chief?... Wait, what?... You can't be serious?... Put the Blame on the Goomoonryong? I know the buy is the bogeyman of the alliance but this looks too fucking messy to be him... How it doesn't matter? and the thing that did this?... Yes Sir!"(Boss).

"What happen boss? Please tell em we will be hunting the thing that did this? Please."(Recruit).

"Officially the case is closed and we need to call a cleaning crew right now..."(Boss).

"No..."(Recruit).

"But unofficially, I am gonna goddam hunt the monster that did this. We may not have the support of the association but I know some guys that will jump at the thought of hunting whatever did this. But first, we need to gather some more evidence, I need to call the cleaning crew liking it or not, chief orders."(Boss).

"I knew the alliance was spread thin with all those messes, but I didn't think it was this bad."(Subordinate).

"Me neither. Things are worse than what I was thinking. But as the saying goes 'Worse is the good man that do nothing in the face of evil, than the evildoers themselves', or something like that I don't remember it..."(Boss).

"Incredible Boss..."(Recruit).

"Save the praise for later, first we need to gather as much evidence as possible before the cleaners arrive. Anything extremely strange just calls me."(Boss).

"Sure Boss."(Recruit/Subordinate).

So they started searching, the sight was extremely gruesome bodies and more bodies everywhere, some bodies were dealt with rather cleanly with strikes to the neck or to the heart, but other were literally tore apart to unrecognizable levels.

They took photos and more photos, searching for clues and more clues. until they found a strange room, this room was different from the others as there was basically only the body of one woman there, and it was one of the cleanest kills of them all. That is what they thought, but when they examined closely they saw the gruesome wound on her neck.

"What the fuck could've caused such wound?"(Subordinate).

"... A grip martial skill perhaps? Maybe something related to the nail? no... it's too messy for that. Fuck it's the mouth, it fucking ripped the girl's neck open with its mouth. What. The. Fuck?"(Boss).

There was a silence for some moments while the boss contemplates some possibilities while he analyzes the room, there was a chair with some destroyed ropes. PRobably the chick here thought something like that could contain the monster... Boss almost scoffed at the tough, normal ropes are pretty useless against murim-in.

"...Boss."(Recruit).

"Speak."(Boss).

"It was very difficult but I have seen some kind of pattern in some bodies."(Recruit).

"What kind of pattern?"(Boss).

"Well... It may sound crazy but a lot of bodies have Sunburn."(Recruit).

"Sunburn? What the fuck? What it has to do with anything? they could like to sunbathe for all I know?"(Boss).

"I thought so at first, sunburn is a pretty normal thing after all. But some patterns were rather disturbing. Here look."(Recruit).

With that Recruit gives his cellphone to Boss and Boss starts to analyze the photos, and there is indeed some extremely strange patterns, maybe its some kind of new martial skill? but why would someone use ki to cause sunburn? it just sounds like some huge waste of resources.

"...Strange... Very strange..."(Boss).

"Have any of you ever seen something like this?"(Boss).

"No, never. But this still looks way too brutal to be the doing of any normal martial artist."(Subordinate).

"I remember seeing something related to sunburns, but I don't remember from where. Maybe some old case?"(Recruit).

"Are you certain."(Boss).

"Well these things look somewhat familiar... But I can't seem to point from here I am getting this familiarity from."(Recruit).

"Try to take a break and think for a little bit, this type of situation can mess with anyone shed. And maybe you can remember things better with a more clear thought process."(Boss).

"Sure thing boss."(Recruit).

With that Recruit made a beeline to the exit seemly very relieved to get a little bit fo air away from all the mess.

"Do you really want to do it? Going behind the alliance like that."(Subordinate).

"I need to do it... I simply can't..."(Boss).

"The Don Gozo case wasn't your fault man, the guy got crazy because of his cannibalism skill... it's not your fault..."(Subordinate).

"I know but if I was able to get to Don Gozo before he became such a huge monster I could have saved so many people...I shouldn't have listened to the alliance at that time, I simply won't commit the same error again."(Boss).

"I owe you my life boss, so I am with you till the end..."(Subordinate).

"...Till the end."(Boss).
