1 PROLOGUE

'Sissy!!... There are sooo many hot guys tonight. I wonder if we can hit some!" My bestfriend exclaimed.

His eye balls roam around the busy disco lit room full of party loving humans. He bites his lips as he spot some cute boys dancing to the music. Everyone's drunk and we are no exception. It has been awhile since we had a night out like this. We were too busy with work, so we're here to release our stress... and celebrate life to the fullest while it last.

"You're right! Tonight sure is a special one for the both of us." I exclaimed, trying to defeat the bustling crowd. "Do you want to lit the floor now?"

I ask nonchalantly. "Nah, not feeling it. I think it comes with age. I just want to enjoy my drink slowly while I feast my soul with those booties and say my grace afterwards." He says pointing at the naughty guys who started stripping.

"But you wore you're brand new dress. Plus, those pumps are to die for! So you should at least let them kiss the dance floor, don't you think?"

I say to encourage him to put his outfit to good use. Fresh as day, I still remember us having an argument at this couture shop whether to buy his pricey mini black dress. Glad we did, he seemed to be satisfied about it as well.

"Damn girl! You really know me. That's why you're my bestie!" He replies excitedly as he puts down his martini.

"Now, get you're ass over there and I'll be here looking out for our things" I continued as I push him away, slapping his peaches as a tease while I'm at it.

I watch him join the crazy packs of hungry meat and found myself teary eyed from laughing after seeing my bestfriend go wild and talk to others like he is ready to devour them. He seems to be enjoying the moment. If he's happy, I'm happy too.

We can only be like this once in a blue moon anyways, before reality hits us in the head. As they say, embrace all opportunities when they come knocking on your door.

"Hi. I see you're alone. Can I sit?" A dark toned guy signaled his hand towards the empty silver stool across the circular red table. The front curls of his hair falls down to his forehead as he bent over to meet my droopy eyes and before I could even answer, this mystery man didn't mind sitting down without my permission. A few good minutes have passed by yet nobody cared talking. I couldn't care less and just continued sipping my alcohol, hoping to get drowned in the spirit of numbness while I pretended to only gaze at the people prancing back and forth and onto my bestfriend.

"I bought you another drink. Is that okay?" He inquires and at the same time slides a glass of what looks and smells like bloody mary. The hovering dim lights allowed me to see a fraction of the tattoos on his thick right arm, like a sleeve that he wore ever so proudly.

"Uhmm.. I guess you asking me was just a courtesy. You should've not bothered." I replied sarcastically and rolled my eyes like a ferris wheel. I pushed back the uninvited thirst quenching red liquid right up at his face and to my surprise, he chuckled at my remarks which made me sit right up like a solid brick.

"What's so funny?" I raised my bushy brows.

"You playing like a spoiled brat. I know why you're here in the first place so don't play hard to get." He responded and smirked like it was the coolest thing to do. The deep dimples on both of his cheeks were a total waste on him.

"Excuse me?! Are you seriously branding me as the kind of girl you pick up on the streets?" There was a clear raise to my voice.

"Well if not, then why are you playing hooky?"

"How dare you?! I'm here with my boyfriend!" I screamed at the sight of this irritating curled ball. The next thing I knew, all eyes were staring at us. I did not notice the sudden stop of the deafening sound at the middle of our conversation. The chances of the jockey changing his track while I lash out was obviously out of bounds.

"Oh really? So where is this 'boyfriend'? I bet he looks like shit!" Emphasizing the word to ridicule me was the last strand of my patience. I clenched my now empty cold glass and was ready to smack the tiny brain out of this man when someone grabbed my hand and immediately stopped me from my evil plan.

"Sissy?!.. Let's calm down a bit. You don't want to pay hospital bills for this guy. He is not worth it." Bestie to the rescue. I couldn't stop the smile on my lips after hearing his commentary.

"Mr. Hot guy.. Let's say you are. Care to tell me what happened here?" He directed his attention to Mr. Audacity. His nasal voice cracked the life out of me.

"Uhmm.. you keep out of this tramp. But you teach your friend to not lie about an imaginary lover!" He shouted.

"Oh I see the problem now and I'll choose to ignore your description of me. Instead, I will introduce you to her kind, handsome, tall, muscular, fair skinned, attractive, model like, definitely better than a shitty child like you, 'boyfriend'. Give me fifteen, no ten minutes to bring him here." He left no room for him to reply. My sissy just straight out pulled the large paper bag under my seat and stormed to the men's wash area. Mr. dimples stared at me blankly as I gulped down the bloody mary he offered earlier as a revenge.

The wobbly crowd started to screech at the same direction. With nothing else to do, I followed the curious eyes of the sweaty half naked on - lookers and was quite shocked and amused of what I witnessed. Aaron Jennings is walking towards me in his most sexy cat walk. This self proclaimed celebrity acted like he was on a runway by which the club's light director supported him all the way. His black ripped skinny jeans elongated more his already long and well toned legs and thighs. The plain yet classy white buttoned down shirt showcased his puffed chest, complimented by the wide shoulders and killer biceps.

"Babe, let's call it a day." Aaron kissed my forehead and then helped me down by supporting my waist.

I felt my cheeks warm up and my heart thumping like I was on a marathon.

"Sissy?" I call out to him.

"Sshh.. just hold my hand follow my lead." and I did as he suggested. I felt so powerful and protected like a princess in a fairytale.
