60 Vittorio's Chaos

The air was wet it had rained the day before and fog was beginning to cover the streets blocking Bastion and Vittorio from view. At an unseen signal they clashed. Bastion punched with all his might unleashing haymakers and spinning axe kicks on his ever more powerful opponent. An arm broken here, a side of the body destroyed there, and even beheading didn't faze this opponent. Vittorio healed from everything. But his power didn't come from the few drops of blood Bastion gave him. No, it came from the blood devoured by this creature. Over time the RC cells within Vittorio had altered to the vampire's physiology and were rewritten by the vampire's infection.

Even as they clashed Bastion's sharingan studied them recording every injury and watching how the cells regenerated the beast before him. Dragons made of flesh blasted flaming butterflies at him in devastating swarms. Incapable of damaging Bastion they set the buildings around them on fire. The sounds of ambulances could be heard in the distance. Bastion continued to study his opponent thinking of a way to destroy him decisively.

Bastion course corrected after a less one-sided exchange. His opponent was closing the gap faster than Bastion was growing used to sage mode. A chopper waved its spot light on them. "You should be running out of sage mode soon, are you scared?" Vittorio said. Bastion's course correction entailed destroying his opponent's advantages. The kakuhou within Vittorio was sending out RC cells to repair any damage the vampire sustained. So, Bastion aimed for it with his sage chakra enhanced fist.

The attack was like a shotgun blast tearing a basketball sized hole in Vittorio's back. Once again Vittorio began to heal but it slowed. "You aren't as much of a fool as I thought. But it isn't over yet." Vittorio shouted.

Bastion turned his head to the side as Vittorio rapidly healed. At the cost of about 5b cp. None of the vampire's healing had cost a drop of chakra before. The next time they clashed Bastion noticed a slight decrease in strength. Yes, the vampire was still growing stronger but by lesser increments. How strong was an 800-year-old vampire without chakra? That was the question that could determine this fight. If this was just the tip of the ice berg, then Bastion worried he might have to take out all the stops.

Bastion decided he didn't want to find out what one with chakra would be like. He hit twice destroying two kakuhou before adding a rasengan for good measure. Once again the wound slowly healed regenerating the kakuhou at the cost of chakra. The fight continued

Slowly, as the fight progressed Bastion used more jutsu. Mega flare could destroy Vittorio instantly but he held that ace back. Something was off about Vittorio. As they clashed Bastion found some inconsistencies. Vittorio wasn't increasing in power exponentially. His chakra enhancement was static, it was only his physical body that was growing stronger. Sure, more chakra would increase the vampire's power, but it wasn't honed to a fine edge like Bastion's was. Even his opponents elemental release wasn't mastered. They capped out before they could damage him.

The next time they clashed Bastion attacked with seals. He used a weak seal meant to bind unruly genin. Any ninja was at least a Jonin's level of chakra control could negate it handily. Instead of removing it with a simple fluctuation of chakra Vittorio's eyes widened.

"You're a seal master. I should have known you would cheat." Vittorio accused. Parts of the city were on fire, a chopper was recording their fight, and it had begun to rain. Vittorio still had the gall to point at Bastion and accuse him of dishonor. As if such nonsense mattered in battle.

"Your chakra control is pathetic. Genetically, you are more powerful than me, but skill wise you are lacking." Bastion said with a forlorn expression. "To think this fight had excited me." Like a fool Vittorio tried to over power the seal. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but size doesn't matter, its how you use your power. For some reason, I forgot that. This fight is over Vittorio, do you still wish to die?"

"Kill me then, you have beaten me. Just let me give some parting words." Vittorio said much to Bastion's annoyance. "Die with me releasing restraints zero." Vittorio yelled and exploded in a mass of red eyes and black tentacles. Dragons appeared opening their maws and spewing out flaming skeletal horses. Butterflies made of flame began to cover the sky along with bats covering in cyclones of wind blades. Dark shapes appeared in the shadows around them and the mass kept growing larger. Bastion leapt from the roof and stood midair. Blood slaves leapt from the mass of chaos firing RPGs and shooting mortars. Only to be sucked back into the chaos. Something was forming within perhaps an opponent worth his time. He wouldn't hold his breath.

Bastion crossed his arms under a transformation when he looked at the camera. "Hello folks of the 22nd ward. I'm sorry things go a little out of hand. I'll sort it out soon." Bastion said with false cheer. The cocoon of souls began to condense forming something much stronger than what Bastion fought before. There were shards of madness radiating off this form Vittorio took. What little bravado Bastion felt diminished. He sensed a chakra nature he had never felt before. This was darkness in its purest form.

The cocoon burst open revealing a malformed angel or a demon. It was hard to tell. The chakra radiating off Vittorio was around 100x stronger than before and climbing. There was no control over it only primitive manipulation. A black beam silhouetted with crimson chakra blasted towards him. Bastion felt his left arm fall from his side. The beast threw its head up and laughed maniacally.

Bastion engaged his cloak and using chakra strings and the mystical palm technique reconnected his arm. Feeling his cloak ver1 and sage mode fuse was an interesting feeling. It was like acceding to a new plane of possibilities. His strength was like multiplying his chakra 1000x. He didn't have that much more chakra, it was just that much more potent.

The beast saw him whole once more and stopped laughing. "Are you in there Vittorio or is this your hale marry play?" The beast roared and charged him at super sonic speeds. Bastion met the monster in a series of blows followed by parries and feints. The monster wasn't very intelligent. It could recognize a feint well enough but failed to take advantage of it or employ tactics of its own. It was able to keep up with Bastion and somehow it had full control over its chakra again.

He tried applying another seal, but the skin shed away. That shouldn't happen. The seal was charka based, it should appear on the new skin.

Normal attacks did little to stop the beast. He drove a rasengan into its chest and nothing happened. Whatever this creature was made of it was dense. The black lasers this creature employed were telegraphed. He wasn't paying attention when he was hit last time. Though his left arm was 75% weaker than normal, that was a problem.

This chaos creature needed to be put down, it kept growing faster and stronger with every breath it took. "Lightning Sage Art: Fingers of the Mountain." Bastion went through four hand signs and felt a change in the storm. This technique was tricky, he had to keep his opponent still. A shadow clone appeared behind the beast and took it in a full nelson. Lightning roiled in the heavens as more power gathered above. The beast struggled and shot out lasers made of heavily condensed dark release chakra. It did it no good.

The jutsu was prepared and this beast was going nowhere. In a flash ten of the largest lightning bolts he had ever created crashed down upon the beast. The windows in every building around them exploded. His clone burst, and the beast was left in a crater. Slowly, it regained its senses and started moving again.

It was weakened, the creature's power began sinking like a stone. Bastion put his hands together and began creating a bijudama. A small black orb appeared between his palms crackling with more power than most rasengan could boast. He thrust his hands forward and the beast was finally reduced to ashes. Along with the building and parts of the city.

Bastion didn't a drop of blood fall off the roof long before the building exploded. He didn't see it drop on top of a rat escaping the falling building. Nor did he see the rat escape into the sewers.
