51 Rebirth

If there was one thing Bastion learned from his previous lives, it was might controlled everything. No matter where you were, if you didn't have the strength, the cash, or the will to resist your neighbors, they will take everything you own. All of life was a struggle to take the power needed to gain freedom.

Then the choice was no choice at all. He had the will to take power and he would in this life and all lives after. The next brethren moon incident would be met with a fist to crack the heavens.

If his enemies were resistant to all forms of attack, had numbers to dissuade a meaningful counter, and the ability to turn potential allies against him.

Then he would become sneakier than his enemies. No longer would Bastion Uchiha play fair no matter how one sided the fight is. He would use every arrow in the quiver, so to speak.

As his soul and chakra joined to a zygote and sleep took over his mind worked for the future.

This like every time he was reborn, he awoke a week before his birth. It was the third time he was reborn, one more and he would get group chat. That was exciting to think about.

There came nothing new with this birth. A scant amount of RC cells, nothing even remotely super human. His mother and father were normal humans from what he could detect. His chakra coils formed with the rest of his body just as they always do. He could feel his incredible powers work their way into his infantile body. He could feel the Giant within him slowly healing and supplying him with sage chakra. The powerful engines within hungry to pull natural energy from the world. This ravenous hunger was forcefully buried by his psyche.

Having both arms again was a boon. Being reborn and healed of all past injuries was an advantage he took happily. Sticking the shaft to those brethren moons was a boon as well. There was nothing really to do within the womb other than wait and trade chakra for system points.

8billion system points an hour was awesome. He purchased 10Brnz tickets and used all ten of them in unison. They were all set at random, he wanted to see what he would get.

The lesser body cultivation was incredible. Chakra was a force multiplier after all. If he increased the amount of force it had to work with, he could greatly increase his power. It was the equivalent of gaining a permanent kaio ken.

He infused chakra through his body the way the cultivation skill instructed him. Slowly, weakness was released from his body and he gained the next rank. It only increased the cost by 100 for each level until it reached bronze. In a day, he reached bronze. Bronze multiplied a human's vitality, durability, and strength by 2 first rank. Add his chakra to that and he doubled his power permanently for 1000cp.

Bastion repeated the process for bronze enjoying the double gains. His body would be even stronger when he was an adult. Another day passed, and he reached iron. At Iron rank1 he was 3 times his original vitality, durability, and strength.

Just as he was born, he maxed out lesser body cultivation to rank 9 with 100%cp to the next rank. As he wailed upon birth, he cleared his lungs of film, and felt like he did something.

Time passed in peace time, he met children his own age, went to school and enjoyed a quiet life.

At eight Bastion sat in his room messing with computers trying to build his own. Technology had become his hobby in this world. He could program a little but was nothing exceptional. He had around 10 quadrillion system points form draining away his own chakra for system points. A platinum ticket was within his reach, but he held off. When he gained the ticket, he wanted it to be in magic.

Already he purchased the updated filters to narrow down the type of magic and how it should function. With a platinum ticket he would get his ultimate magic in one go.

As for chakra, well he had more than enough for now, his main goal in this world was the creation of a pharmaceutical company. Like umbrella but less BOW and more crafting the perfect chakra pill.

That was a long-term goal. Short term, he needed to start making money to invest later. He had thoughts of starting an American style pizza company here, but he needed capital.

After booting up his computer and adding the tor engine, the dark web was his to access. This was where things happened, and transactions were made. He had already begun crafting his own website. In a sense it was a knickknack website. It was basic. He had a few orders already. Bitcoin was perfect for the transactions. He ran it like this. A user states a name and a picture of who they would like to die in a comment. Then they purchase one of his extremely expensive knickknacks.

The knickknacks were shy girl, accident prone girl, and party girl. Each described a different way someone could by killed. Technically, nothing illegal was done. No addresses were given only names and pictures. But Bastion did have the ability to search Facebook for certain names and people were easy to find when you knew their local hangouts.

It was a truly lucrative business he only had to Genjutsu a few government officials so far. They looked the other way and he made money. What were a few deaths in business? When he had the capitol, he would leave the hitman life for something easy like making pizzas.

Talk of ghouls was all over the radio. Anyone could be a ghoul your neighbor could be a ghoul, your teacher could be a ghoul, and even your lover could be a ghoul. Bastion could tell the difference between ghouls and humans without looking. His nature energy sensing skills were more than advanced enough.

"Bastion don't go outside without me. You know a ghoul wouldn't think twice before snatching you up." His mother said. She was an easily scared woman. He doubted she was ever at ease unless his father was in the house.

It was the way of this world. Ghouls ate humans to survive, humans fought ghouls in return, and the cycle went on and on. He had no dog in the fight nor enough love for humanity to get involved. "I doubt they would be bold enough to snatch me in the middle of the day. I'm just going to the park." Bastion said.

"Your hard headed like your father. Be back for lunch." His mother shouted, as he ran for it.

As much as he liked computers, gaming, and family. He needed fresh air. Most of his killing was done with shadow clones. Killing normies didn't require enough effort to go there in flesh and blood.

Over in a sandbox he saw two blue haired children just a little younger than him. Ayato and Touka, he had met them on several occasions. "Hey, I brought some more shapes." Bastion said, as the two looked up at him.

"That's great we can build Barad Dur from lord of the rings." Ayato yelled. Bastion cringed a bit but that was normal. Kids yelled when they were younger.

"Yep, Touka do you want to do the towers while we get water and gravel for the main keep?" Bastion asked. She nodded shyly and got to work. For the rest of the day they worked on the monumental task of building a fantasy castle. Bastion eventually used earth release to keep the mold together.

They stood back and stared at the castle. "Did you kids build Barad Dur?" Arata Kirishima said. He looked on shocked at the detail. Bastion had to admit, this was a little much for a ten-year-old and two 8 year olds. But he wanted to do it and it came out ok.

"We had to mix in a little cement and gravel." Bastion muttered.

"Well I have to get these two homes. Have a good day and get back before dark." Arata said. Bastion nodded and continued looking at the castle.

"Bye Bastion." Touka said. Bastion waved them off.

The sun was still high in the air, he had a little time.

"Ouro can I purchase the next rank of a skill?" Bastion asked.

"All skills that rank up can be upgraded with system points. What skill would you like to upgrade?" Ouro asked.

"Lesser body cultivation, how much will it cost me?" Bastion asked.
