6 Chapter 5 Meeting Lee

Scheming wasn't really his thing. Bastion preferred a direct confrontation if he could. The truth is always easier, you don't have to worry about keeping track of your lies. Sitting under a shade tree at the edge of team Guy's training ground. No one stopped him from taking a peak and it was rather inspirational.

Guy worked his team to the bone with constant exercise. Lee wore a heavy set of weights and it just watching them work and shout about the flames of youth excited him. This was the sensei he would choose if he somehow graduated. It was unfortunate that both Guy and Neji were crippled or dead at the end.

"Yosh, hey young man, are you here to get a lesson in youth." Lee said with a thumbs up. His teeth gleamed in the early morning light. Guy was there in a flash.

"Now Lee he seems to be too young to join the academy our training is far too rigorous for someone so young. You just came to watch us, I understand your curiosity young man. If my other two students don't mind, you may continue watching." Guy sensei said. Bastion bowed quickly to show his respect to the Jonin.

"Sir, I unlocked my chakra and I'm too young to go to the academy, I was watching to try and learn how it can be used positively. You are the Beautiful Green Beast right." Bastion said. It was always good to butter up his potential tutors.

"You unlocked your chakra huh. Care to show me? Neji why don't you use your eyes to see what we're working with." Guy said.

"Its just a waste of time. I can already tell he's a civilian. He'll just drop out when it gets hard." Neji said. Bastion glared at the Hyuga. Calling upon his chakra reserves he unleashed all of it in a burst. The sudden release caused an aura of green chakra to appear around him. Neji's eyes widened but not in the use of his Byakugan. He quickly switched looking at him for a while. The he watched even after Bastion was forced to drop his chakra. "I've never seen anyone with that much chakra at such a young age. Fate has shined kindly on you."

"Talented but too young to join and too young to learn much more than chakra control exercises. Do you know leaf sticking?" Guy asked. Bastion walked over to a nearby tree plucked a bunch of leaves off and not only did they stick but he pulled them from his hand around his body and rotated them. He then pulled out his bag of marbles and did the same thing. At this rate something like this was second nature.

"This was one of our last times for team training before the chinin exams. And I don't know much more advanced chakra control besides genin based techniques. I can't show you any new chakra techniques but how about I show you the basics of Strong fist. We were about to go through every form anyway." Guy said. Bastion bowed to the man.

"Thank you that is more than enough." Bastion had thought he would go home with nothing or worse. This was awesome. If he had his sharingan he could have just copied them and taken what he wanted from their taijutsu but this was better.

He remained with team guy and learned every move they were willing to team him. Guy was more than happy to adjust him, and Lee was helpful giving him more than a few pointers. Bastion decided to give Lee some information as a show of gratitude.

"Hey Lee, I have something important to tell you it's a secret." Bastion said in a little kid way. He felt bad taking advantage of Lee, but it would help him in the long run. They ducked behind a tree.

"Yosh, what is this secret Bastion." Lee said. Bastion took a deep breath letting his mind fly through various ways he could tell Lee.

"Lee I'm able to sense chakra." Lee's eyes widened, and he was about to yell something like Yosh. "That isn't my secret. I sensed someone dangerous a genin from suna with red hair. He has more chakra than the Hokage. If you fight him in the chunin exams don't hold back it will be like fighting a less experienced kage." Bastion said. Lee turned serious then nodded.

"I'll be careful Bastion san. Why didn't you tell Guy sensei?" Lee asked.

"I'm nervous and your easier to talk to." Bastion said. Lee nodded. Bastion could feel it, like a butterfly he had flapped his wings and caused a ripple. A domino was flipped at the wrong time. Something was going to happen differently now.

Another week had past and the preliminary match would soon begin. By the end of the day he would know if his words changed anything. If Lee removed his weights at the beginning and opened the gates from the beginning would things change. This could cause Lee to fall into a depression. This time he had advanced knowledge of his opponent.
