14 Chapter 13 On The Road

"Hey kid, what are you doing at the gate? Aren't you supposed to be in the academy or something?" Naruto said as gently as possible. Bastion looked at the orange clad boy and thought about saying many different things. Mostly, if he could have a picture with him.

"No, I'm supposed to go on this mission with you. Hokage sama said if we bring back Tsunade he would train me personally." Bastion said. "I'm Bastion Uchiha nice to meet you." Bastion said and bowed.

"Oy are you related to Sasuke Teme. But you don't seem to have a log rammed up your." Naruto quickly covered his mouth. "Sorry, you're like five right. I can't say that in front of you.

"I'm his cousin I think. I barely escaped the massacre and I was put with a foster family in case Itachi ever came back to finish the job. Hey your Naruto right. Could we get a picture together? I think your awesome." Bastion said.

"Are you sure you and Sasuke are related? Sasuke is always like hn Naruto I'm too cool to go eat ramen with you even though I secretly want to. I'm just too insecure to let out how I really feel. Please Naruto be patient with me and keep trying." Naruto said. Bastion nodded his head in agreement. That sounded correct in his opinion.

"I haven't met the guy but that sounds like his type. So, when will Jiraiya get here I would like to get a move on." Bastion said. Jiraiya came hours later with two women on his shoulder and smelling of boos.

He stared the two women in the eye and used a minor Genjutsu to send them off. It wasn't anything too complicated but with the sharingan, it was easy to do. "That's why I hate those cheating eyes of yours. No struggle just instant power ups." Jiraiya said. Bastion shrugged not really caring.

They began walking down the road and Bastion felt more nervous with every step. Soon, he would have to confront Itachi. He just hoped he could hide his Uchiha features. Maybe they would ignore him. After marking that as wishful thinking they wondered into a town.

Some legendary dark ninja was in charge and all the bandits were parading around him. "Hey kids watch this. Rasengan." Jiraiya yelled and smashed it right into the supposed dark ninja's stomach. "I only used half power too." This is what I'm going to teach you Naruto. It was a move the 4th invented.

"Can I learn it too?" Bastion asked. Jiraiya shook his head.

"Didn't I say I'm not teaching you?" Jiraiya said. The bandits and dark ninja were ignored. We started heading out of town with a collection of balloons.

"You don't have to give me any direct instruction just teach Naruto and leave me to my own devices." Jiraiya shrugged.

"It's not like you can learn it anyway. It takes a lot of chakra." Jiraiya said then paused. "You do have a lot of chakra don't you, then it might be possible for you to learn it. That's a problem.

Whatever I'm not teaching you, you aren't my student Naruto is understand." Jiraiya said. Bastion nodded hoping the old man would shut up and give the demonstration already. "The move has three steps."

Bastion took a balloon, spun my chakra in multiple directions and it popped. Both Jiraiya and Naruto turned him. "How did you do that?" Naruto asked.

"Just spin your chakra in multiple directions, not just in one. You're making a hurricane in the palm of your hand. Whirlpool, I thought you of all people would get it." Bastion said.

"Hey, my name isn't fishcake, oh." Naruto shut his mouth and focused on the balloon, seconds later it burst. "Alright pervy sage what's next?" Jiraiya grumbled and showed them the next step.
