7 ASSESSMENT

A week later, Rose's routine life remains unchanged, mostly for her eating habit. She consistently never forgot to eat for breakfast, eat for lunch, eat for dinner and lastly midnight snack.

How relaxed her life is.

A.I7: "Erm, Host can you go back on the right track?"

Rose: "Haha"

A.I7: "…"

During the present, Rose was in tactical class when an announcement comes out.

[This is an announcement for 2nd Batch of Year 20XX. Your second assessment will begin in one month from now on. The assessment is held at Ork Jungle. Please do a proper preparation for the assessment. Any inquires do ask your instructor assistance. That's all.]

Rose: "Hey, A.I7. What's going on with the assessment? Any information about that?"

A.I7: "Oops! Host, I forgot to tell you. Haha…"

The thing is the assessment would be held once in every three months. The first assessment was held three months after the cadets got in. The first assessment usually conducted to see the cadet's individual ability and performance.

The second assessment carried out in next three months after the first assessment. The second assessment was unpredictable as the requirements of evaluation is unknown. It can be to examine the cadet's knowledge, teamwork, tactical strategies, leadership, etc.

The 'previous' Rose had put through with embarrassment when she got last place in her group for the first assessment. Worst of it, Steven got first place thus in limelight within the group.

If look at the overall results of the batch, Rose was ranked below 200th which incomparable with Steven where he was in the top 10 ranking. Both results too vast as sky and earth.

Rose: "… below 200th? How bad is she? "

A.I7: "Erm, bad?"

Rose: "How bad? There are 500 cadets in this batch and tell me, the 'previous' Rose's result is not in 500th place, isn't right?"

A.I7: "Of course not, Host! Just in 499th place."

Rose: "…"

A.I7: "But look at now, we got you, Host. You can reach up to top 3 ranking if you want it. And don't forget, the first mission is to be No.1 Cadet."

Rose: "Yeah I know. The thing is how I am supposed to do if I suddenly get the first place in the second assessment. That too suspicious, right?"

A.I7: "Then Host, you can just get place in top 20! Problem solved."

Rose: "…" How can that even solve the problem. 499th place to 20th place? How outrageous, she thought. "A.I7, can you get any information regarding the assessment? Check for the evaluation marks."

A.I7: "Okay Host."

In the first assessment, Rose has shown a terrible performance and acquired second last place among the batch. In her own group, she got the last place. That's why Steven has enormous courage to bully Rose.

There are many things she had to focus on. One thing is obviously the second assessment. In this assessment she must got top-tier ranking. The only obstacle is how to avoid for being suspicious. It is hard to not be OOC.

Another thing is her bullies. After the incident with Steven, her bullies didn't came to bother her, so she just be oblivious to them. Even though she decided to ignore them, she not simply forgot them.

She had this uneasy feeling in past few days. Her gut says to be careful of any unexpected trouble. There is a phrase said that there is a calm before the storm.

And it is quite troublesome for her.
