This is a very solid book in terms of quality. I have read up to book 3. So far not much to complain. Bit confusing on the first book where the protagonist is shifting. Book should have no main protagonist but the story is about the family. Makes me thought about addams family. I just hope it won't turn into the angsty **** story like Twilight. Really recommend this book for supernatural fans especially vampires and wolf. The authors writing style is more with western influence than a chinese webnovel. Refreshing style to read.

Too many salty kids in the review section. The novel which already has a translator will always be preferred over which has more readers. This one is one of the best novel this selection. I am sure the people giving it bad reviews have not even read it yet.

Tbh, I do not know much. just skimmed over a few chapters, but I lost interest already. Why did this even get picked? Idk. This is lower in quality than other novels, I do not even know how this reached 500k votes but sure. Just makes you think about how bad the system in here is. No I do not want any beef. I could not get past chapter 1, I tried my best, but I just can't. I'll rest for a while and I'll try again and edit this. First, my problem with this book is not the grammar and obviously not the story. It's the prose. It is too difficult to read because there's too much adjectives crammed in a single sentence. I, personally, could not get immersed in it. The narration makes no sense, blame me for being slow but the narration is just confusing. The dialogues are awkward, and the author nitpicks every detail and describes them in long, boring paragraphs. I don't know if it was the author or the translation. This work is more like a poetry than a novel.
