17 White Picket Fence

Ai flinched as the morning sun hit her eyes, the skies were clear and the lawn was freshly cut and bright green, it was going to be another wonderful day.

She turned to her lovely wife and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Now don't forget to pick up the groceries on the way home, remember we need flour for the cake." Andromeda said as she brushed her silver hair out of her ruby eyes.

Ai smiled warmly, admiring the beautiful scarlet dress adorning Andromeda's slender physique.

Andromeda giggled. "Dear, are you undressing me with your eyes again? At least wait until we have the house to ourselves." She said, straightening Ai's business suit jacket.

"Hehe~ Maybe~" Ai winked at Andromeda as a small girl with black hair on one side, silver on the other, and silver eyes ran up to Ai and hugged her leg.

"Mommy! Have a good day at work!" The little girl said excitedly.

"And you be a good little girl for mommy Andromeda, ok Annaleigh?" The little girl nodded and hugged her leg again before running to the living room, climbing up on the couch and watching her favorite T.V. shows.

"Honey~" Andromeda cooed. "You forgot to do your lipstick again, you did it on purpose, didn't you?"

"Hehe~ You know me so well." Ai smirked a little as Andromeda grabbed her tie and pulled Ai in for a kiss, her lipstick rubbing off on Ai's lips. Pulling back, Ai puckered her lips and grinned like an idiot, causing Andromeda to roll her eyes smiling.

"Have a good day at work sweetheart, I'm making your favorite tonight, Filet Mignon. Behave yourself and I might give you a little 'reward' tonight." Andromeda tilted her head and winked, the sun made her hair shine and Ai felt like she was falling in love all over again.

'Something isn't right.'

Ai walked down the cobblestone path to her car and waved. "Good morning Mr. Wolf!"

A man with a wolf's head looked up from trimming the bushes in his yard. "Ah! Good morning Mrs. Ai, I'm looking forward to the barbeque next week."

Ai smiled warmly. "Me too! See you later!"

The wolfman nodded. "Mn! Have a good day at work!"

'Something is definitely wrong here.'

Fumbling around in her purse, she pulled out a set of keys with a remote attached. "I've got to clean out my purse." Clicking a button on the remote, the car honked signaling that it had unlocked. Climbing into the car, she started the engine and threw it into reverse, backing out of the driveway.

'What the hell am I doing here?'

She drove down the road, hitting her blinker, she turned down another road, then another, then another, seemingly endlessly.

'None of this makes any sense.'

Ai smiled and looked up at the picture of herself, Andromeda, and little Annaleigh and smiled. She loved her life, loved her daughter, and loved her wife. She hoped that this could go on forever.

'No I don't, this needs to stop.'

Ai looked down from the picture with a smile as a half-naked, tan-skinned woman wearing nothing but animal leathers suddenly appeared in a blur in front of her car. She slammed on the brakes and screamed. "Ahhhh!"

*CRASH*

The car wrapped around the woman as smoke started to rise from the engine, but the woman seemed to be fine and turned her head to Ai, her silver eyes locked on with hers.

"S-sis?" The woman said as she started to tear the car apart.

"D-don't worry! I'll get you out of this metal monster!" The woman yelled out, ripping and tossing massive chunks of the car off to the side.

"Ah! What are you doing to my car? I'm sorry that I hit you but, do I need to call the police?" Ai started to yell at this strange woman.

"Police? Who the hell is that? No! Sis, you need to wake up, you've been asleep for a week now!" The woman finally ripped the windshield out and reached a hand out to Ai.

"No! Get away from me! HELP!" Ai pulled out a taser from her purse, pushed the button, and jammed it onto the woman's arm, but to Ai's dismay, this had no effect.

'Please stop this. Amari, please save me!'

The woman's eyes opened in shock. "Sis!? I'm trying to!"

'You can hear me? What's happening?'

The woman grabbed Ai by the wrist and pulled her out of the car and into a princess carry. "Like I said, you're asleep, have been for a week now, when I got back, you and that woman were gone, I tried to sense out for you, but couldn't find you, then I heard your voice in my head sayin' 'Something isn't right' and I was able to find you, but you were nothing but skin and bones."

'Then how did you get here?'

The woman hopped off of the scrap pile of a car. "Aiya took over your body and did some sort of strange spell that pulled me here, It took a while to find you, but every time you said something like you are now, your location became just a little clearer to me."

Ai struggled to get away from the crazy woman, but her arms wouldn't budge. "Unhand me you heathen!"

The woman looked down at Ai with a look of sorrow, "Please wake up, sis."

Ai's face contorted in pain as her dream state and her mind started to fuse together.

Sensing danger, Amari jumped up on top of a streetlamp as another car came flying just past where she was standing, looking down the road, Amari could see that woman in a red dress and heels walking towards them with a glare.

"Unhand my wife this instant." Andromeda snapped and a nearby stop sign lifted into the air and launched at Amari, who barely managed to leap to another streetlamp in time.

"Tch, fuck this, Aiya, I got her, bring us out!" Andromeda snapped her fingers again and a house was thrown towards them, but before it could hit, Amari and Ai fell through a portal that opened under her feet.

Andromeda stood there and glared at the place they had disappeared before her face contorted unnaturally into a sadistic grin. "She will come back, of course, she will come back, she loves me, loves me, loves meeeee~"

Amari came flying through the portal and crashed into a wooden bookshelf, books and other trinkets went flying across the room. Looking around frantically, she noticed that Ai had disappeared the moment they went through the portal.

"I'm here si- I mean, Amari." Ai said with a wave, back in her original body.

Amari stomped towards Ai, causing her to flinch, but Amari threw her arms around Ai and started to sob. "S-sis! I'm s-sorry sis!" Amari hugged Ai carefully, tears soaking her hair.

Ai returned the embrace and patted her on the back. "It's ok, sis. Everything is ok now." She smiled warmly as she closed her eyes and rested her head on Amari's chest.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I promise I'll never abandon you again, you are my little sis, no matter what your name is. And I'll protect you with everything I have." Amari couldn't help but hug Ai tighter, but she tried to make sure she didn't crush her.

Ai could only chuckle and ruffled Amari's already messy hair. "Thanks, sis, I'll protect you too, when I'm strong again."
