29 Freyr, Sword of Sisters

Hoat'l climbed out of the flameless pit, as he emerged, the ashes bound to his armor, turning it grey in color. As he stood up and dusted himself off, an insignia of a blue flame could be seen on his chest plate.

"Well, tha' couldnae gone any better." He said with a grin.

Amari stayed silent, still holding her cracked sword. Kenji, however, spoke up. "What happened? We watched your body burn to ashes!"

"Aye, lad, that I did, but the lady o' the flame decided to spare me, and I carry 'er here." He said as he smacked his chest.

"Just hurry up and fix my damn sword already!" Amari shouted out impatiently, but given the circumstances, the guys understood her urgency.

"Aye, miss Amari." He said as he grabbed the sword. "Jes' a moment will be all it takes." He stretched out his spare hand as the sky-steel began to float towards him. Storing the excess in his inventory, he placed the sword on the anvil and placed a small chunk of the metal over the crack.

"Hm?" He suddenly asked. "Oh really?" He nodded at his conversation, seemingly with himself. "I'll do just that then, thank ye." He turned to Amari. "Er, this might sound strange, but can ye bring yer sister here, miss Amari?"

She looked at him in confusion before disappearing in a blur, only to return a few moments later with Ai asleep in her arms. "Now what?" She said with a hint of annoyance in her voice.

"Now I need a stand of yer silver hair, and one o' hers as well." He said as reached out an open hand to Amari, but looked at the sword as he placed his hand over it, melting down the blade and the metal as it began to fuse together.

"Tch." Amari clicked her tongue and pulled a hair from her head, but paused, looking at Ai. "does it have to be from her? I... don't even want a hair of hers to be hurt." Amari looked down, her annoyed look stayed strong, but a soft blush graced her cheeks.

Hoat'l smiled and nodded, still focusing on the sword. "Aye, her hair as well. Trust me, it'll be worth it. I'd bet me life on it."

Amari placed a hand over Ai's head, caressing her hair, she plucked one of the stray silver strands and handed them both to Hoat'l. "If this ends badly, you'll wish you were dead."

Hoat'l smiled and nodded once more as he held his open palm over the molten metal, letting the two strands fall, absorbing into the blade as the metal formed into its original form and cooled. He then pulled a bright silver meteoric hammer from his inventory and slammed down on the blade as a bright white light filled the room.

As the light died down, Amari's familiar sword laid upon the anvil, but the very aura of the blade felt different. Amari's eyes turned amber as she inspected the changes to her sword.

Tier 3 Enchanted: [Unbreakable] | [Heavy] | [Guardian] | [Link]*

[Unbreakable] The weapon affected by this enchantment will never break unless by a weapon 3 tiers higher than the enchanted weapon with a [Shattering] or enough force with another [Unbreakable] weapon.

[Heavy] The weight of the weapon affected by this enchantment is multiplied by 4, increasing the damage of the weapon as though it were 4 times its original size. Any other effects that would amplify the weight will stack on top as a multiplier.

[Guardian] At the will of the wielder, the weapon may act on its own, fighting for or defending its wielder. The weapon will float a set distance from the wielder when not in use.

[Link] The two individuals linked to this weapon will empower the weapon, increasing its offensive and defensive potential exponentially based on the distance from both linked individuals.

*=This enchantment is an innate enchantment and will not count towards enchantment limit.

This legendary blade was forged by the legendary blacksmith, Hoat'l with the aid of the ancient flame spirit, Eimyrja, using flame blessed sky-steel and strands of hair from two sisters with a deep connection.]

Amari's angry glare melted away as she read the description, looking down at Ai, tears welled up within her eyes. "Fuck... Sis, I'm sorry, I regret ever doubting you." Kenji placed a hand on her shoulder, half-expecting her to shrug away, but when she didn't he waited a second before removing his hand and walking up to Hoat'l, giving him a rough pat on the back.

"Mr. Badass over here." He chuckled as Hoat'l gave him a strange look. Before he could respond, however, Amari spoke up. "We need to get as far away from here as possible. Now." Her serious expression as she blurred off of the top of the anvil, making her way to the archway into the grand hall that led them here.

Hoat'l nodded as he began to fly towards Amari, producing a high amount of heat as he lifted off. Kenji watched in surprise, using [Flash Step] so casually was one thing, but flight was better for quite a number of reasons, but Kenji didn't want to bother thinking about that right now, or he might be left behind.

He flashed forward a few times, catching up to the group in the main hall, but noticed something was off as they just stood there, staring forward.

"She looks so pretty in the blue dress, right?"

He looked forward, seeing a young woman who looked like a slightly older version of Ai, only with silver hair and ruby-red eyes, wearing a dress nearly identical, floral embroidery and all, except red in color, only, he didn't think this dress was originally red, as blood dripped from parts of the slightly frayed hem.

"But, don't you think it looks better on me?" The girl gave a sweet and innocent smile.

"It does, doesn't it?" That innocent smile slowly became slightly more twisted.

"It does~ It does~ Right~ Right~" Her face contorted into more of an unnatural grin, as her neck twisted to the side with a sickening snap.

"But it's alright..." She took a step forward. "Because~" Her already twisted grin grew even larger, the edges of her lips tearing apart, blood flowing down the side of her face. "She~" She disappeared in a blur, appearing in front of Amari. "Loves me~"
