1 Waking Up To A Foreign Land || 1

There was chaos. Everywhere you look at is a wreck. She was breathing hard from exhaustion, huffs and puffs are loud enough to be heard by the person standing in front of her. Incoherent mumbling pass through her ear to the other, her hands feels like the heaviest burden she ever carried, her legs the foundation made by an amateur, like the tallest building about to collapse. Looking at her state, she does not look of power and glory she was named. But she held on a little longer waiting for them to finish, for she's the only one who can do it.

She heard a ringing noise. Then there comes silence.

She opened her eyes and saw...nothing. She seems to be buried under the rubbles. It was dark and narrow, she feels small and crowded even without any person with her. She ought to get out, but her hands are still shaking, she tried using her powers to no avail, she only felt a faint pulse of it. At the very least, she was thankful the foundation did not crumble.

She really need to get out of there ASAP. The limited oxygen did not help her already hard to breathe state. With all her might, she pushed the rubbles out of the way. Bad move. Or not. The soil collapsed and some rubbles hit her, she managed to duck and avoid most of it. The smell of the earth just got stronger as she inhales mixed in with some coughs here and there.

She struggled her way through the top, luckily, she found the soil noticeably lighter than before. She reached out her hand one last time and felt the cool air touching her hand. She excitedly pulled herself out, feeling great joy inside after that.

She was greeted by a soft high pitched scream. She got irritated fast — not a morning person per se — and got overwhelmed by emotion for a second. But that second surprisingly gave her the biggest she could muster just to annihilate that noise, unsurprisingly, she passed out after that.

The second time she opened her eyes, she's in a place unfamiliar to her, she felt stiff and soft at the same time like a drifting wood floating in the middle of a vast ocean. Alone, with the dangers awaiting her.

The clicking and creaking caught her attention and saw a strange looking woman — with clothes she's never scene before, looking too little for her. You see, she would have wanted to be on guard in this kind of situation, but her current condition doesn't let her lift a finger more so protect herself.

The woman sat on a chair beside her and start babbling foreign words. Boredom got a hold of her faster than the woman say the next syllables, only then she noticed the room they were in. She studied the room and focused her attention to it over the strange woman. She found the wallpapers and trims of the room interesting to say the least, they were the colors of the tree. Although if she could ask, she would like to have more gold in it. There's only a single bed, with two full length windows on either sides of a dresser with a mini bookshelf atop, the ugly painting at the middle is not worth even a glance. If she would guessed right, it was this woman's temporary room.

The sharp tone made her face the woman with a scorn. The woman obviously, irritated mumble to herself then to her. The woman talked loud and slowly that she could make out a word out of her, but she still does not understand.

"D O Y O U A T T E N D T O M Y W O R D S?"
